A reference object was represented by a model of horizontal-axis wind turbine. The research deals with nonlinear dynamics of a rotation speed of wind turbine components depending on the blade angle and wind speed. A two-level technology is applied to prevent emergency situations. It consists of a quantitative analysis and a qualitative analysis. The first level is implemented using the situation analysis tools based on semantic modeling. At the second level the simulation modeling is performed. An algorithm for construction of a set of current situations in the semantic model is based on the Volterra polynomial integral equations. The Newton-Kantorovich method was applied to develop an iterative method to approximately solve respective nonlinear equations. The paper demonstrates the specific features of numerically solving the studied equations with a fixed length of mantissa in machine representation of a floating-point number.","PeriodicalId":332371,"journal":{"name":"2017 Computer Science and Information Technologies (CSIT)","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126093359","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, an approach to background-text-nontext separation procedure based on differences of presented in a document image objects sizes which can be obtained by binarization and segmentation algorithms, is proposed. After binarization by a proper method, it is segmented and the distribution of segments sizes is obtained. It is assumed that the three types of objects presented in an image have significantly different sizes; therefore, the problem of separation comes to discrimination of the set of segments into three groups. The thresholds for the separation of these groups can be found by minimizing the intrasample variation which is used in discriminant analysis. Some examples of images from the Matenadaran collection are considered and the separated parts of the image are illustrated and interpreted.","PeriodicalId":332371,"journal":{"name":"2017 Computer Science and Information Technologies (CSIT)","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121668402","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research is conducted basing on the online teaching and instructing experience under the large number of students of different age, educational background and origin. Basing on the multiyear maintenance of the built system it is concluded that one of the biggest advantages of the system is guidance and facilitation in the personal environment via Online Instructor (OI) which gives students the possibility to learn and acquire language through natural communication, interaction and discussions with OI and classmates. A brief overview of the chosen online pedagogy principles and used approaches for their effectiveness measurement jointly with the implementation peculiarities is performed.","PeriodicalId":332371,"journal":{"name":"2017 Computer Science and Information Technologies (CSIT)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128068097","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The metamodel allows to visualize step-by-step a process of models' behavioral aspects analysis. In particular, it essentially helps to debug behavioral specifications. In the paper, we consider examples of the metamodel usage to represent dynamics for the following two aspects of AADL-models: 1) simulation of a modelled system on the basis of a Behavior Annex specification; 2) failure modes and effects analysis on the basis of an Error Model Annex specification. We also present a stepwise visualization tool (engine and applications for both mentioned examples) that is implemented in MASIW framework for design of modern avionics systems.","PeriodicalId":332371,"journal":{"name":"2017 Computer Science and Information Technologies (CSIT)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129434511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For the stated problem, the existence and uniqueness of the solution is proved. The constructed iteration process allows one to reduce the solution of the initial non-classical problem to the solution of a sequence of classical Cauchy-Dirichlet problems. The convergence of the proposed iterative process is proved; the speed of convergence is estimated. The algorithm is suitable for parallel implementation. The specific problem is considered as an example and solved numerically.","PeriodicalId":332371,"journal":{"name":"2017 Computer Science and Information Technologies (CSIT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130530389","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
