But the exciting thing is that the complexity of diversity does not divide Indonesia. Rama Agung Village, Bengkulu Utara Regency, was designated as a Religious Harmony Village in Bengkulu Province in 2018 by the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Upon launching the minister of religion, the Governor of Bengkulu designated it as a Miniature Village of Religious Harmony in Bengkulu Province. This is in line with the decision of the Regent of Bengkulu Utara in 2021, which established Rama Agung Village as a Religious Tourism Village. In this position, religious and cultural tolerance becomes important as the main indicator that can reduce points of conflict between individuals, social classes, and society. This tolerance was formed not on the basis of an accident. Still, the similarity of struggle that gave birth to valuable lessons bound in the points and points of Pancasila elaborated in the State Constitution and actualized in everyday life. This research design uses qualitative methods with a single instrumental case study approach. Data collection will be collected through interviews and document review. The results showed that the harmonization that occurs in Rama Agung village is currently maintained because of the value of harmony instilled by the community in interreligious life, namely open communication between fellow believers, mutual respect for other religious celebrations, and the rules of other religions.","PeriodicalId":331679,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Madani Society","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139131407","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research examines how Kito Scarf Bengkulu, a unique tourism product of Bengkulu, implements marketing communication techniques through storytelling on its Instagram account. The qualitative research method employed is a case study approach to examine the implementation of digital storytelling on Instagram of Kito Scarf Bengkulu to engage with customers. The findings indicate that in the case of Kito Scarf Bengkulu, the storytelling technique cannot be considered efficient in creating engagement with followers and customers of Kito Scarf. The utilization of Instagram's feed feature in the form of photos and storytelling captions by Kito Scarf does not align with the characteristics of its followers and customers. Several factors contribute to this condition, including the relatively low interest of customers in reading, as well as the content of the photos and captions not being able to capture the interest of the intended target audience. Further investigation into this matter is still necessary.","PeriodicalId":331679,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Madani Society","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139132677","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use observation and documentation. Data analysis is done by organizing data, describing it into units, synthesizing, structuring it into patterns, choosing which ones are important and which ones to learn, and making conclusions. The results showed that acts of symbolic violence between students through private space communication were considered commonplace even though they realized that these actions were not justified. The violence is caused by feeling superior and thinking other students have shortcomings. In order to avoid symbolic acts of violence in the media, the role of the teacher in each teaching refers to character building. Digital literacy efforts are carried out in schools to shape character and anticipate violence for students when using digital media.","PeriodicalId":331679,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Madani Society","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139135608","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The presence of a women's cooperative is a solution to open access to capital provision for underprivileged women to improve their standard of living. Women's cooperatives have a very active role in the Bener Meriah Regency because they are managed directly by women, and all empowered members are women. Role theory and community empowerment theory are used to analyze the research results. The research paradigm used is the constructivism paradigm with a qualitative methodological approach. The results of this study suggest that cooperatives have an essential role in empowering the community, especially women as a marginalized group, to revive the household economy. The women's cooperative in Bener Meriah Regency is a cooperative in which all management is carried out by women, from coaching farmers to marketing agricultural products, especially the Gayo arabica coffee commodity. The women's cooperative addressed was Gayo Women's Coffee Cooperative (KOKOWAGAYO), which has been successful in empowering the economy of coffee farmers to carry out marketing to international markets through the export of coffee commodities.","PeriodicalId":331679,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Madani Society","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139133449","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Furthermore, women's groups represent a reliable marketing force capable of influencing the decisions of other demographics. Through the Instagram application, this study investigates how the Strategy Analysis of Candidates for the 2024 Bengkulu Regional Head Election can enhance Brand Awareness among Women's Groups. The data were collected through interviews with two individuals expected to run in the 2024 Bengkulu mayoral election. Research findings reveal that Dedy Wahyudi, a former media worker, truly understands the significance of optimizing social media to reach his target audience. Therefore, Dedy Wahyudi uploaded numerous activities involving the 'Emak-emak' group on his Instagram accounts. Besides that, Ariyono Gumay prefers a face-to-face approach and group communication to engage with women's groups. In his Instagram posts, Dedy Wahyudi portrays himself as a family man, while Ariyono Gumay's photos depict him as financially successful. This study concludes that as someone who has long struggled with mass media, Dedy Wahyudi's efforts to utilize the media are very serious. Dedy uses social media to provide information, establish relationships, and offer entertainment. Thus, the election is still a long way off, and the timing of the declaration of candidacy is still being determined. Dedy has not yet effectively used social media to reach specific groups. Ariyono Gumay relies more on face-to-face communication with the target group, especially mothers. Ariyono trusts the power of in-person meetings more than interactions through social media, which are less personal and private. Dedy represents himself as a family man, while Ariyono Gumay portrays himself as an affluent and accomplished young figure, as this type of politician resonates well with the people of Bengkulu.","PeriodicalId":331679,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Madani Society","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139130000","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The marketing is to Europe and the United States through cooperation agreements to export coffee commodities with three international investors: Fairtrade, Ecocert, and Cafe Feminino Foundation. The annual contract to export Gayo Arabica coffee commodity is in the amount of 20 containers. This cooperative has 500 farmers trained to break the marketing chain from loan sharks to increase the income and economic welfare of the coffee farmers. The decision-making made by women in this cooperative requires government involvement in terms of policies that support the export of coffee commodities to international markets. Yet, there is still miscommunication between the government and the KOKOWAGAYO. Because of these problems, a data analysis was carried out using radical feminism theory and structural functionality. The research paradigm used was the critical paradigm with a qualitative methodological approach. The result of this study indicates that they carried out KOKOWAGAYO, a women's cooperative. Also, miscommunication occurred regarding government regulations on policies issued by the cooperative because it independently exported coffee commodities to international markets, and the government has issued regulations or policies related to the safeguarding of Gayo Arabica coffee authenticity through a Decree of Origin (SKA) and the Gayo Coffee Protection Society (MPKG).","PeriodicalId":331679,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Madani Society","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139347439","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
