Oedjoe","doi":"10.35508/efapls.v3i1.10656","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35508/efapls.v3i1.10656","url":null,"abstract":"PAUD (Early Childhood Education) institutions provide appropriate educational services for early childhood, as a form of preparation for children to enter the next level of education or elementary school level, but in society is that there are parents who do not register their children at PAUD institutions, so research this study aims to explore the factors that cause parents to choose to enroll their children in primary schools without going through guidance at PAUD institutions. This research is a qualitative research with a duration of six months. Data collection was carried out with four informants using data collection techniques through interviews and documentation studies. The results of the study showed that there were four factors that caused parents not to enroll their children in PAUD institutions, namely, the education factor, the job factor, the income factor, and the time factor. The purpose of this study was to find out the learning that was carried out by teachers to improve the language skills of children aged 5-6 years during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is located at the Christian Kindergarten of Caesarea Kupang. The subjects in this study were teachers at the Christian Kindergarten of Caesarea Kupang. This type of research is qualitative research, data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. Data and research results that have been collected are then analyzed descriptively. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah metode yang digunakan masih menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Dimana peserta didik tidak dilibatkan sepenuhnya dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga proses pembelajaran hanya terpaku pada satu sumber dan pembelajaran pun menjadi satu arah. Peserta didik tidak bisa mengembangkan potensi yang dimilkinya, karena tidak diberikan kesempatan untuk aktif selama proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk menganalisis proses penerapan serta hasil dari pengembangan metode pembelajaran partisipatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di PKBM Bintang Tunas Mulia Kecamatan Tanah Sareal Kota Bogor. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas pengeloa, tutor, dan peserta didik kejar Paket C. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber, metode dan teori. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi, display, dan verifikasi. Adapun temuan dari penelitian ini adalah pada kegiatan awal yaitu pembinaan keakraban, identifikasi kebutuhan dan hambatan, penyusunan program pembelajaran. Pada proses pembelajaran menggunakan tenik pembelajaran partisipatif, dan strategi / metode pembelajaran partisipatif. Pelaksanaan metode pembelajaran partisipatif disusun kedalam kegiatan pembukaan, inti, dan penutup pada proses belajar mengajar. Tahap yang digunakan sudah sesuai dengan teori tahap pelaksaan metode pembelajaran partisipatif.
