Within this context, teamwork skills have been gaining close attention, as they are considered essential competencies in an increasingly more globalised, dynamic and complex world. New employees are asked if they have teamwork skills, can resolve specific work issues or have the required skills to handle the new challenges posed by today’s society. In this study, we aimed to investigate the differences between students regarding their demographic characteristics (age category, education level) according to the level of development of their teamwork skills. The results revealed statistically significant differences between the different categories of students and the level of development of teamwork skills. It is important that teamwork skills are developed from the years of undergraduate studies. Both in our sample, but also in other studies from the literature, these students obtain low scores for this competence.These results can be used to create training programs for teachers and students in the development of teamwork skills.","PeriodicalId":330816,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education, Society & Multiculturalism","volume":"4 2","pages":"1 - 14"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138627084","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study aimed to investigate the development process of the integrative system in early education by ensuring the interdependence between material resources, human resources and methodological resources existing in institutions implementing this type of training. The research is of value because it was carried out on an age segment that is little researched and explored, but which is of overwhelming importance in the development of preschool children with ASD in all aspects: psychological, social and emotional. It has been scientifically and practically demonstrated that a thorough training of teachers in mainstream education is required to ensure a successful integrated approach through a rigorous, well-founded intervention in accordance with the specific characteristics of children with ASD and their educational needs.","PeriodicalId":330816,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education, Society & Multiculturalism","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126147664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Artificial intelligence, such as OpenAI’s Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer (ChatGPT), has brought new benefits, challenges and pressures for higher educational institutions. There are relatively few reports of how students perceive and intend to use ChatGPT. Taking cognizance of these, the research explored students’ perceptions and intentions to use ChatGPT in their higher education. Guided by two hypotheses and a mixed-method approach, the analysis revealed no statistical relationship between perception and intention to use ChatGPT. Despite this statistical relationship, the study reported students’ positive perceptions towards ChatGPT, and intentions to use ChatGPT and advocated its adoption in education. Based on these findings, the study offers implications for educational practices and further research.","PeriodicalId":330816,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education, Society & Multiculturalism","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132204775","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The comparative research is aimed to investigate if there are significant differences between corporate subjects from Western Europe and the Middle East on the one hand and from Romania, on the other. The originality of the theme resides in the comparative approach between the two groups of subjects, and the novelty of the theme is reflected in the absence of relevant studies and research in Romania regarding the effect of adverse childhood experiences on the professional and personal evolution of people in the adult stage of life.","PeriodicalId":330816,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education, Society & Multiculturalism","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132851124","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The primary purpose of this study was to explore the characterization and the experiences of Y-generation teachers and how principals manage them. In its attempt to add to the epistemology on the characterization, experiences and the management of this generation, the researchers deployed the qualitative research approach. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. The results are detailed and discussed under the following thematic strands: Digitally intoxicated and proficient, pursuing commitment, results driven and extrinsically motivated, y-generation relation to leadership authority of the principal and their cooperation and teamwork. This paper is vital in that it adds to the body of knowledge on how Y-generation teachers behave in the schooling contexts.","PeriodicalId":330816,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education, Society & Multiculturalism","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114371924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Peace tourism in many places focuses on the role of the private sector, government, and the international community without involving youth. Polarization in society strengthened due to the presidential elections of the Republic of Indonesia in 2014 and 2019, and the Jakarta governor election in 2017, thus exacerbating the peacebuilding gap. This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and literature study. The results of the study show that the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) together with national and local institutions carried out peace tourism on January 25–30, 2018. They chose 120 youth, and 82.5% came from outside Maluku Province. Peace tourism involves visiting locations where conflicts occur and attending the 35th world peace gong. For example, the Red-White Bridge, Batu Merah, and Passo villages were discussed with Islamic and Christian leaders, journalists, youth communities that care about peace, and others. During peace tourism, youth are enthusiastic about learning about the history of conflict and influencing communities to restore social relations. After the peace tour, they return to their area to become peacekeepers. Unfortunately, this program is not sustainable.","PeriodicalId":330816,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Education, Society & Multiculturalism","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124121333","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
