Firman","doi":"10.24198/jit.v23i1.40941","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24198/jit.v23i1.40941","url":null,"abstract":"Program Penumbuhan Wirausaha Muda Pertanian (PWMP) merupakan salah satu kegiatan Kementan (Kementrian Pertanian) dalam rangka mewujudkan regenerasi petani yang dirancang untuk penyadaran, penumbuhan, pengembangan dan pemandirian minat, ketrampilan, dan jiwa kewirausahaan generasi muda di bidang pertanian/peternakan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja usaha program PWMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Survey. Jumlah responden adalah 16 orang. Penelitian dilakukan pada alumni mahasiswa Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Padjadjaran yang menerima bantuan dana PWMP di Jawa Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil usaha kelompok PWMP ini seperti, volume produksi, biaya produksi, volume penjualan, dan keuntungan sangat variatif dari yang nilainya kecil hingga besar. Adapun dua variabel yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi kinerja usaha adalah volume produksi dan volume penjualan. Tujuan dari peneilitian yaitu untuk mengetahui keragaman mikroba pada kompos campuran feses sapi perah dan feses ayam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental, yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap dan eksploratif untuk data kualitatif yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel  dilakukan pada 6 titik yaitu Feses Sapi perah segar, campuran awal Feses Sapi perah dan Feses ayam, campuran feses sapi perah dan feses ayam bak 1,  bak 2, bak 3 dan bak 4 dengan waktu fermentasi di setiap bak 10 hari, ulangan tiga kali  jumlah sampel 18. Pengamatan dilakukan pada hari 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, dan 50. Hasil pengamatan awal terhadap Koliform dalam feses didominasi oleh koliform fekal, dalam media campuran feses sapi perah dan feses ayam diperoleh koliform fekal dan non fekal, setelah proses fermentasi dalam bak 1 sampai dengan bak 4 bakteri  koliform sudah tidak terdeteksi. A total of 96 DOCs of the Ross strain were randomly divided into 4 treatments and 6 replications. The treatments included T0=Basal diet (BD), T1=BD + 0.5% DPF, T2=BD + 1% DPF, and T3=BD + 1.5% DPF. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan Multiple Range Test. Observed variables were water content, dry matter, protein, and fat mass of the broiler chicken’s meat. The results showed that there was an increase (P<0.05) in the meat weight, protein mass, and fat mass of broiler chickens fed with DPF, while pH, water content, dry matter, and the value of microbial respiration were not affected by the treatment (P>0.05). Comparison of commercial gelatin and bovine split hide gelatin in the formula T1= 16:0%, T2= 12:4%, T3=8:8%, T4= 4:12% and T5= 0:16%, with other ingredients the percentage is the same. The results were compared with commercial gelatin candy. Parameters observed included chemical tests of water content, pH and total sugar, physical tests (hardness, elasticity and stickiness) and organoleptic tests (color, aroma, taste, shape, texture and overall). Data analysis used a completely randomized design with a unidirectional pattern, Duncan's multiple region test was continued if there were differences. The organoleptic test was analyzed by descriptive analysis. It was concluded that the addition of more commercial gelatin resulted in a harder jelly candy and gave different organoleptic test results. Panelists liked the jelly candy made froma combination of 8% bovine split hide gelatin and 8% commercial gelatin. The research used a completely randomized design method with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments are (P0 = 100% pineapple peel; P1 = 70% pineapple peel + 30% corn flour; P2 = 70% pineapple peel + 30% cassava waste; P3 = 70% pineapple peel + 30% rice bran; P4 = 70% pineapple peel + 10% corn flour + 10% rice bran + 10% cassava waste) with the addition of molasses for each treatment as much as 5%. Parameters observed were the nutritional quality of pineapple peel silage including CP%, CF%, DM%, ash (%), and CF%, levels of NDF (%) and ADF (%). The results showed that the difference in carbohydrate source material had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the nutrient content of the pineapple peel silage produced. By achieving the largest possible production of eggs and chickens, the aim is to determine the contribution of laying hens to the national economy and the self-sufficiency of small farmers. The study focused on small farmers in the regions of North Sumatra, West Java, Central Java, East Java, South Sulawesi, and West Nusatenggara. It was concluded from this study that the small farmers who had little capital for raising laying hens benefited from the net present value of IDR 36,213,611 in their favor. 4,233 heads were used, resulting in an average of 5,644 kg of eggs per month, IDR 98,996,826,00 in average monthly revenue, and IDR 16,418,183 in net profit. The research object used was Padjadjaran quail aged 7-9 weeks and used commercial feed SP-22 which contained 3998 kcal/kg metabolic energy and 18,28% protein. The treatments used were P0 = Provision of rations ad libitum, P1 = Provision of rations 90% of ad libitum, P2 = Provision of rations 80% of ad libitum, P3: Provision of rations 70% of ad libitum. The parameters used were age of sexual maturity, egg production (% Quail-Day), egg weight, body weight at sexual maturity. Observations were conducted on 152 farmers in four sub-districts in Paser Regency, East Borneo. They were randomly selected in two stages: (1) choosing a farmer group, and (2) choosing farmers from the selected group. Model the causal relationship between resource utilization and output of mixed farming using the Cobb-Douglas equation. Regression analysis was used to estimate the degree of technical efficiency ratio using the stochastic frontier analysis. The results of the analysis showed that farm cattle production was at a constant return to scale, meaning that a doubling of the farm outputs was obtained from doubling the resources used. The number of cattle ownership and labor are two factors that significantly increase farm output. As much as 46.7 percent of farmers achieve the first and second grades of technical efficiency with an efficiency index range is 0.7-0.9. The rest or 53,3 percent have an index range of below 0.7. This means that there is still a large chance for this sector to use resources more efficiently. Cattle are reproducible and transferable capital assets, it is relatively practical and affordable for farmers to provide them. There were 5 treatment groups of layer hens where Treatment 1 served as control supplemented with commercial feed without vitamin D3, Treatment 2 as positive control supplemented with commercial feed and vitamin D3 HyD, which was already used by the poultry farm, Treatment 3 supplemented with commercial feed and Active D at an inclusion rate of 75 ppm per ton of feeds, Treatment 4 supplemented with commercial feed and Active D at an inclusion rate of 90 ppm per ton of feeds and Treatment 5 supplemented with commercial feed and Active D at an inclusion rate of 110 ppm per ton of feeds. A total of 11,027 Lohmann chickens were used for the study. The vitamin D3 were mixed with normal basal diet. The effects of vitamin D3 showed significant results in egg production, percent hen house, percent hen day, mortality rate and egg size. Data on organoleptic tests and the physical quality of different muscle parts of the Sapudi lamb meat are still limited and need to be explored to provide information about the meat quality from local Indonesian livestock. This study aims to analyze the organoleptic test and physical quality of the lamb's meat from different muscle parts. This study uses Design Random Complete (RAL) with three different muscle parts as treatments: the longissimus dorsi (LD) muscle, the biceps muscle femoris (BF), and the triceps brachii muscles. Observed variables were hedonic and hedonic qualities in the organoleptic test, including texture, color, aroma, meat tenderness, and physical quality (pH, cooking loss, and tenderness). The results showed that the BF muscles' hedonic quality tests for color, aroma, and tenderness had higher scores than the TC and LD muscles. The TC muscles had higher texture values than the BF and LD muscles. There was no significant hedonic test result for different muscle parts and pH values of 4 and 6 hours between LD, TC, and BF muscles.
