One of the most important features of this kind of antenna is its wide bandwidth as required in the mentioned band. The modified design of the proposed antenna allows the user to move in any direction as is usual in mobile communications. The results of this article include an analytical design, simulations that have been performed numerically using a Finite Element Method (FEM) computational tool, structure optimization in order to maximize the antenna bandwidth and experimental measurements with the aim of spatial evaluating of electromagnetic radiated fields.","PeriodicalId":330638,"journal":{"name":"WSEAS TRANSACTIONS ON COMMUNICATIONS","volume":"67 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116649397","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a fully distributed cooperative spectrum sensing scheme based on cyclostationary features techniques is proposed. The primary signal detection is realized by an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) sensing algorithm; each secondary user (SU) makes decisions about the PU by exchanging their own measurements with the local neighbors. The distributed scheme is analyzed on a network layer, where the throughput performance is analyzed in terms of sensing accuracy, frame duration, and system overhead. An analytical expression for the SU throughput is derived, in addition to investigating the issue of trade offs between time and overhead. Simulation results showed the relationship between the throughput and the sensing time, the effect of increasing the number of SUs on the throughput, and the outcome of increasing traffic intensity on the system performance","PeriodicalId":330638,"journal":{"name":"WSEAS TRANSACTIONS ON COMMUNICATIONS","volume":"112 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131515662","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

D2D technology has to implement with the current cellular system. As both users D2D and cellular use the same licensed spectrum for transmission the chances of interferences increases. It is challenging for researchers to find out the proper mechanism to decrease interference and maximize performances. In this paper, we try to survey the challenges and their solutions to enable D2D communication in the cellular network with low interference. Here we describe the peer discover, mode selection process and interference management with power control and resource allocation. Finally, we can say that with proper power control, spectrum slicing and resource allocation we can mitigate co-tier and cross-tier interferences.","PeriodicalId":330638,"journal":{"name":"WSEAS TRANSACTIONS ON COMMUNICATIONS","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128751526","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We consider the different earth systems which are installed nearby. An abnormal current such as a power fault current flowing into one earth system may raise the potential of another earth system and damage the equipment connected to it. For this reason, it is necessary to make the earth potential rise between earth systems more clear. Therefore, we have derived a method for calculating the coupling coefficients between adjacent earth systems composed of complicated electrode arrangement. We applied the current superposition method for the calculation. We also propose two simple and accurate measurement methods of them. As a result of measuring the actual earth systems in the fields, it was confirmed that the calculated values and the measured values are in good agreement.","PeriodicalId":330638,"journal":{"name":"WSEAS TRANSACTIONS ON COMMUNICATIONS","volume":"359 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115879629","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Presently, the quantity of clients exploring the Internet is more than 2.4 billion. This enormous group of spectators requests online business, learning sharing, informal organizations and so on, which became exponentially in the course of recent years. Accordingly, it prompts the requirement for security and improved protection. As of late, misrepresentation over the Internet comprises one of the fundamental disadvantages for the across the board of the utilization of business applications. Along these lines, the three imperative security issues occur each day in our universe of straightforward design, even more decisively: recognizable proof, confirmation and approval. Distinguishing proof is a procedure that empowers acknowledgment of a substance, which might be either, a human, a machine, or another advantage, for example, a product program. In security frameworks, validation and approval are two reciprocal systems for figuring out who can get to the data assets over a system. Numerous arrangements have been proposed in the writing, from a straightforward secret phrase to late advancements dependent on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) or biometrics. This paper gives an outline on existing verification techniques, and its upsides and downsides when planning online assistance.","PeriodicalId":330638,"journal":{"name":"WSEAS TRANSACTIONS ON COMMUNICATIONS","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130624478","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper concentrated on the design aspects of the patch antenna with slot dimensions as a function of operating wavelength (λ) to get better results. The antennas are implemented with the help of software package V15.4 - Integral Three-Dimension Equation (IE3D) EM simulator.
