The objective of this article is to find out the growth and developmental status of children post-COVID-19. This systematic review uses the PICO search strategy through an online database. Obtained 11 articles based on inclusion criteria, reviewed using the Critical Appraisal Skills Programme tools to conclude. COVID-19 influences growth (obesity or overweight) and child development (a disorder of language, emotional, behavioral, and psychosocial development). The growth and development of children post-COVID-19 are influenced by sex, age, length of hospital stay, comorbidities, and illness severity. The stimulus for optimal growth and development in post-COVID-19 children can be provided through affection, stimulation, balanced nutrition with a variety of foods, hand washing with soap, adequate physical activity, and regular weight monitoring. Keywords: children, COVID-19, development, growth  ABSTRAKCOVID-19 berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan, perkembangan, dan kematian. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui status pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak pasca COVID-19. Systematic review ini menggunakan strategi pencarian PICO melalui database online. Diperoleh 11 artikel berdasarkan kriteria inklusif, review menggunakan Critical Appraisal Skills Programme tools hingga disimpulkan. Hasil menunjukkan COVID-19 memberikan pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan (obesitas, IMT (Indeks Massa Tubuh) berlebih) dan perkembangan anak (gangguan perkembangan bahasa, emosi, perilaku dan psikosial). Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak pasca COVID-19 dipengaruhi jenis kelamin, usia, lama rawat, komorbiditas dan tingkat keparahan. Nutrition compliance for a student depends on food service management, and an indicator of a student’s food quality is needed. The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlations between food acceptance and diet quality in Islamic boarding school students. This study was observational with a cross-sectional design. This study was held in Askhabul Kahfi Islamic Boarding School Semarang and consisted of 69 subjects chosen by simple random sampling. Diet quality data was measured through the Semi-Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ) and Diet Quality Index - International (DQI-I), food acceptance data were collected using questionnaires and food waste forms. The data were analyzed by the Pearson correlation test. This study showed that 66 subjects (95,7%) had a low diet quality and only 4,3 percent of subjects have high nutrition knowledge. There was no correlation between food acceptance and diet quality (p=0.346), but the components of diet quality which is variation score indicated significant positive correlations with a variety of food menus (p=0.020) and significant negative correlations between food acceptance with overall balance score (p=0.030). There was no correlation between food acceptance with diet quality among Santri. The incompatibility of portion standards with dietary recommendations was the most influential factor in food acceptance and diet quality of santri.Keywords: food acceptance, diet quality, santri, nutrition knowledge ABSTRAK Santri merupakan kelompok usia remaja yang rentan mengalami masalah asupan makanan maupun rendahnya kualitas diet dan menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab masalah gizi pada fase kehidupan selanjutnya. Pemenuhan gizi pada santri sangat bergantung pada penyelenggaraan makanannya, sehingga diperlukan indikator mutu kualitas makanan yang diberikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan antara daya terima makanan dengan kualitas diet pada santri. Penelitian observasional dengan desain cross sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Askhabul Kahfi Semarang dengan 69 subjek dipilih menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Data kualitas diet diukur menggunakan Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ) dan formulir Diet Quality Index – International (DQI-I), daya terima makanan dengan formulir sisa makanan dan kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil analisis menunjukkan 95,7% subjek memiliki kualitas diet rendah dan hanya 4,3 persen subjek yang memiliki pengetahuan gizi tinggi. This study aims to determine maternal age's effect on LBW in a larger population while controlling for factors such as maternal education and occupation, residence area, socioeconomic status, iron consumption during pregnancy, Maternal and Child Health (MCH) book, gestational age, and ANC K4. The data for this study were obtained from the Basic Health Research 2018, and the unit of analysis was mothers with children under the age of five. A risk factor model approach was adopted to determine the association between maternal age variables and the incidence of LBW using multiple logistic regression with complex samples. The risk of LBW for mothers aged 20 or 35 years compared to mothers aged 21-34 years was 1.342 (95%CI:1.165-1.546). The final model equation included confounding variables such as socioeconomic status, MCH card ownership, gestational age, complete ANC, and CED in mothers. As a result, thus very young or old women were also at risk of having LBW children. The final multivariate analysis showed that maternal age at delivery had a highly significant association with LBW in Indonesia. This makes it necessary to educate pregnant women in particular and all levels of society to minimize the risk of LBW by preventing early marriage or delivering a baby at a very old age. Keywords: LBW, maternal age, Riskesdas, Indonesia ABSTRAK Berat Badan Lahir Rendah (BBLR) merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang menyebabkan konsekuensi jangka panjang dan jangka pendek pada seorang anak, terutama karena usia ibu,  yang ditentukan oleh usia ibu yang sangat muda atau tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh usia ibu terhadap BBLR pada tingkat populasi yang lebih besar dan dikendalikan untuk beberapa karakteristik seperti pendidikan dan pekerjaan ibu, pendidikan dan pekerjaan ayah, daerah tempat tinggal, status sosial ekonomi, konsumsi zat besi selama kehamilan, kepemilikan buku KIA, usia kehamilan, dan ANC K4. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari Riset Kesehatan Dasar 2018, dan unit analisisnya adalah ibu yang memiliki anak di bawah usia 5 tahun. Pendekatan model faktor risiko diadopsi untuk menentukan hubungan antara variabel usia ibu dan kejadian BBLR menggunakan regresi logistik berganda dengan kompleks sampel. Besarnya risiko ibu usia 20 atau 35 tahun untuk kejadian BBLR dibandingkan dengan usia ibu 21-34 tahun adalah 1,342 (95%CI: 1,165-1,546). Hyperglycemia that occurs in DMT2 patients can cause oxidative stress that disrupts lipid metabolism. Combination of kelor and mengkudu powder has the potential to help lower blood glucose in T2DM with dyslipidemia because it contains flavonoids that can prevent oxidative stress and fiber that can slow the absorption of blood glucose. This study aims to determine the effect of giving a combination of kelor and mengkudu powder on changes in GDP levels in T2DM with dyslipidemia. This type of research is true-experimental with pretest-posttest with control group design. This study used 30 male Wistar rats aged 2-3 months, weighing 150-250 grams. The rats were divided into 6 groups, KN normal conditioned rats, K- T2DM rats without treatment, K+ T2DM rats given the drug atorvastatin and groups P1, P2, P3, T2DM rats given a combination powder of 600 mg/200 gBB /day in the ratio of P1 (0.5: 1.5), P2 (1: 1) and P3 (1.5: 0.5) for 14 days. GDP levels were examined using the GOD-PAP method, data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. After 14 days of intervention, the P2 group experienced the highest decrease in GDP levels of 176.20 ± 20.25 mg/dL (p=0.043) while in the control group there was no significant difference (p=0.416). Giving combination powder has an effect in reducing GDP levels. Combination powder can be considered to reduce glucose levels.Keywords: diabetes, GDP, kelor, mengkudu, powder ABSTRAK Prevelansi penyandang diabetes melitus tipe 2 (DMT2) dengan komplikasi dislipidemia terus mengalami peningkatan. Hiperglikemia yang terjadi pada pasien DMT2 dapat menimbulkan stress oksidatif sehingga mengganggu metabolisme lipid. Bubuk kombinasi kelor dan mengkudu berpotensi membantu menurunkan glukosa darah pada DMT2 dislipidemia karena mengandung flavonoid yang dapat mencegah stres oksidatif dan serat yang dapat memperlambat penyerapan glukosa darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh pemberian bubuk kombinasi kelor dan mengkudu terhadap perubahan kadar GDP pada DMT2 dislipidemia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah true-experimental dengan pretest-posttest with co ntrol group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan 30 ekor tikus jantan Wistar usia 2-3 bulan dengan berat 150-250 gram. Tikus dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok yaitu KN tikus dikondisikan normal, K- tikus DMT2  tanpa perlakuan, K+ tikus DMT2 yang diberi obat atorvastatin dan kelompok P1, P2, P3 yaitu tikus DMT2 yang diberi bubuk kombinasi sebanyak 600 mg/200 gBB/Hari dengan perbandingan  P1 (0,5:1,5), P2 (1:1) dan P3 (1,5:0,5) selama 14 hari. However, patients’ meal plates often have been cleared before dietitians have  opportunity to measure patients’ plate wastes. This study aimed to compare Digital Dietary Assessment Tool (DDAT) and the current method (Comstock) with food weighing in Dr. Sardjito Hospital Yogyakarta. A total of 144 patients’ meal plates of breakfast and lunch were observed by dietitians in this cross-over intervention study design. Nutrient intakes and duration in measuring food intakes were analyzed by Paired t-test. Dietitians’ satisfaction was collected by questionnaire and analyzed using Mann-Whitney. There were no statistical differences in measuring nutrient intake between DDAT and food weighing (331.8±128.9 VS 332.6 ±131.3 kcal energy; 15.7±5.4 VS 15.2±5.7g protein; p0.05). The duration in measuring food intakes with DDAT was shorter than Comstock (38.5±16.4 VS 355.6± 38.9 seconds; p=0.000). The satisfaction of dietitians in measuring food intakes was significantly higher for DDAT than for Comstock (p=0.000). DDAT is a valid method for measuring nutrient intakes among hospitalized patients. DDAT has a shorter duration of measurement and higher satisfaction in measuring food intakes than Comstock. The DDAT method has the potential to be applied in hospitals.Keywords: digital photo method, patient's food intake, plate waste, satisfaction ABSTRAK Pencatatan terhadap asupan makanan pasien adalah penting untuk memastikan asupan makanan pasien memenuhi asupan gizi. Namun alat makanan pasien seringkali sudah dibersihkan sebelum nutrisionis/dietisien sempat mengamati sisa makanan tersebut. Penelitian validasi metode foto digital yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya menemukan bahwa metode ini berhubungan signifikan dengan metode penimbangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan metode foto digital/Digital Dietary Assessment Tool (DDAT) dengan metode Comstock dalam pemantauan asupan makanan pasien di RS Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta, menggunakan metode penimbangan sebagai standar emas. Sebanyak 144 sisa makanan dari sarapan dan makan siang pasien diamati oleh nutrisionis/dietisien dalam penelitian dengan desain cross over intervention ini. Nutritional problems can be influenced by an imbalance between the intake of macronutrients consumed, and a decrease in functional status among hospitalized patients. This study was conducted to analyze the relationship between functional status and food intake of macronutrients with the nutritional status of internal disease patients. This study used an observational design, with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used was Consecutive Sampling with the number of respondents being 74 internal disease patients who were hospitalized at the RSCM. Functional status data were collected using the Barthel Index and macronutrient intake by interview using the Semi-Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire, and nutritional status using weight and height measurements was calculated using the BMI formula. The statistical analysis used is the Chi-Square test. There are 45.9 percent of respondents have poor nutritional status. The bivariate results showed that there was no significant relationship between functional status (p=0.950) and nutritional status and there was a significant relationship between energy intake (p=0.000), protein (p=0.000), fat (p=0.001), carbohydrates (p=0.001), with the nutritional status of internal disease patients. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between the intake of macronutrients, namely energy, carbohydrates, protein, fat, and the nutritional status of internal medicine patients at RSCM.Keywords: functional status, macronutrient intake, nutritional status ABSTRAK Malnutrisi merupakan masalah utama yang sering terjadi pada pasien di rumah sakit. Masalah gizi yang terjadi dapat dipengaruhi oleh ketidakseimbangan antara asupan zat gizi makro yang dikonsumsi, dan terjadi penurunan status fungsional pada pasien rawat inap. Penelitian ini mengunakan desain observasional, dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Consecutive Sampling dengan jumlah responden 74 pasien penyakit dalam yang dirawat inap di RSCM. Pengumpulan data status fungsional menggunakan Barthel Index dan asupan zat gizi makro dengan wawancara menggunakan Semi-Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire, dan status gizi menggunakan pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan dihitung dengan rumus IMT. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Chi-Square. Terdapat 45,9 persen responden memiliki status gizi kurang. Dari hasil bivariat menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara status fungsional (p=0,950) dengan status gizi dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan energi (p=0,000), protein (p=0,000), lemak (p=0,001), karbohidrat (p=0,001), dengan status gizi pasien penyakit dalam. Pectin acts as a prebiotic, increasing the number and activity of probiotic bacteria and preventing oxidative stress, one of the triggers for insulin resistance. Substitution of pumpkin in the formulation of soygurt to increase the organoleptic properties and lactic acid bacteria in the product to optimize its benefits as an anti-diabetes mellitus functional food. The research design was an experiment with a completely randomized design with one control formula and three treatment formulas with comparisons of soybeans and pumpkin as follows F0 100:0, F1 80:20, F2 70:30, and F3 60:40. Organolpetic tests with a scale of 1–6 from dislike to like. The best formula was continued for physicochemistry and proximate tests. The results of the organoleptic test showed that the best treatment was a 20 percent substitution of pumpkin (F1) with a preference scale of 4, which means that this formula was sensory acceptable to the panelists. The nutritional quality of F1 was 3.15 percent protein, 1.35 percent fat, 0.26 percent carbohydrates, 1.03 percent fiber, LAB 9.5x107, and pH 4.13. Substitution of pumpkin in yogurt has the potential to control blood glucose levels because it is low in carbohydrates and fat. Further research is needed to analyze the content of anti-nutritional substances such as phytate, tannins, and trypsin inhibitors, which are generally found in soybeans, the raw material for this product. Keywords: diabetes mellitus, pumpkin, soybean, soygurt ABSTRAK  Soygurt lebih rendah lemak dan memiliki senyawa aktif daripada yogurt konvensional. Pektin berperan sebagai prebiotik yang dapat meningkatkan jumlah maupun aktivitas dari bakteri probiotik serta mampu mencegah terjadinya stres oksidatif yang merupakan salah satu faktor pencetus resistensi insulin. Subsitusi labu kuning dalam pengembangan soygurt diharapkan mampu meningkatan sifat organoleptik dan jumlah bakteri asam laktat pada produk sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan manfaatnya sebagai pangan fungsional anti diabetes melitus. Desain penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan acak lengkap dengan satu formula kontrol dan tiga formula perlakuan dengan perbadingan kedelai dan labu kuning sebagai berikut F0 100:0, F1 80:20, F2 70:30 dan F3 60:40. Uji mutu organolpetik dilakukan skala 1–6 dari tidak suka sampai dengan sangat suka. Formula terbaik dilanjutkan untuk uji fisikokimia dan proksimat. Hasil uji organoleptik menunjukkan perlakuan terbaik adalah substitusi labu kuning sebanyak 20 persen (F1) dengan skala kesukaan 4 yang artinya formula ini secara sensori dapat diterima oleh panelis. Mutu gizi dari produk terpilih yaitu protein 3,15 persen, lemak 1,35 persen, karbohidrat 0,26 persen, serat 1,03 persen, kadar BAL 9,5x107 dan pH 4,13. Several risk factors for stroke including frequent unhealthy food patterns and having comorbidities would be analyzed. The study aimed to evaluate the association between food patterns and comorbidities with stroke among adults in Indonesia. This study utilized 2018 Indonesian Basic National Health Survey (Riskesdas) data with a cross-sectional design among 15,539 subjects aged ³45 in Indonesia. Data were taken using a food frequency questionnaire and a structured questionnaire. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze food patterns and comorbidities with stroke. The results showed that frequent consumption of sugary drinks (OR: 1.389; 95% CI: 1.142-1.689), salty foods (OR: 1.936; 95% CI: 1.639-2.286), processed foods (OR: 1.694; 95% CI: 1.321-2.172), instant food (OR: 2,104; 95% CI: 1,771-2.498), fatty rich foods (OR: 2,139; 95% CI: 1,757-2,605), and grilled goods (OR: 1,473; 95% CI: 1,166-1,860), and low consumption of fruits (OR: 1.474; 95% CI: 1.164-1.865) and vegetables (OR: 1.358; 95% CI: 1.087-1.698) were significantly associated with an increased risk of stroke. Central obesity (OR:1.198; 95% CI:1.021-1.405), hypertension (OR:1.802; 95% CI:1.528-2.125), dyslipidemia (OR:1.187; 95% CI:1.012-1.392), and diabetes mellitus (OR:1.902; 95% CI:1.516-2.386) were significantly associated with an increased risk of stroke. However, the condition of the patient that does not allow standing makes actual stature measurement difficult. This study aimed to compare the results of measuring actual stature with a stadiometer and estimated stature using the Chumlea, Cheng, Tanchoco, Shahar and Pooy, and Fatmah knee height formula for adult patients in Indonesia. The study design was cross-sectional with internal medicine adult patients aged 18–59 at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM). The study was conducted in January–April 2022. A sample of 100 patients was selected using the consecutive sampling method. Stature measurement was carried out using a stadiometer and knee height with knee height calipers and filling out a questionnaire. Analysis used paired t-test, Wilcoxon, one sample T, Bland-Altman plot, and simple linear regression. The results showed no significant difference between actual stature and estimated stature using the Shahar and Pooy knee height formula (p=0.379) and had the smallest bias compared to the other two formulas (bias= -0.25 cm); however, it was not reached the agreement. The new formula also has no significant difference from the actual stature (p=0.859) and has a bias of 0.05 cm. In conclusion, the stature prediction formula based on Shahar and Pooy's knee height can be applied to adult patients who cannot stand as the first alternative compared to the other five formulas. The new formula for predicting stature needs to be researched further because it has not yet reached the agreement.Keywords: stature, knee height, anthropometric measurement, nutritional status ABSTRAKData tinggi badan yang akurat sangat penting dalam perawatan di rumah sakit. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan antara hasil pengukuran tinggi badan aktual dengan stadiometer dan estimasi tinggi badan dengan rumus tinggi lutut Chumlea, Cheng, Tanchoco, Shahar dan Pooy, serta Fatmah untuk pasien dewasa di rumah sakit di Indonesia. In the long term, nutritional problems increased the risk of disease and lower productivity. A method to overcome malnutrition was by using complementary feeding. This study aimed to create and evaluate the quality, safety and shelf life of instant porridge complementary feeding with the substitution of catfish flour and pumpkin flour. The method used in this study was an experimental study with two factorial completely randomized design with two repetitions to evaluate the product sensory. Furthermore, quality and safety testing was carried out according to the parameters set by Indonesia National Standard and Indonesia National Food and Drug Agency. In the final stage, the shelf life evaluation was carried out using the Extended Storage Studies (ESS) method using room temperature 27-37oC. The results showed that the use of catfish flour as much as 15% and pumpkin flour as much as 10% gave the best results on the sensory value of instant porridge. The product had a fairly good nutritional value, and safe in terms of heavy metals and microbiology. However, the water content of the product was still too high from the standard. The result of shelf life testing using the ESS method, instant porridge products had shelf life of 6 months at room temperature 27-37°C.
