It is of particular importance in the case of making elements with high aesthetic value and resistant to chemical corrosion. Due to high strength and, at the same time low weight, composite materials, especially fibrous composites, are also increasingly used. Among the fibrous composites, basalt fiber materials that are of natural origin and are ecological deserve attention. Therefore, the possible benefits resulting from the combination of two ecological materials was considered. In Ansys 16.1, a numerical model was created for parametric tests, assuming various construction configurations. In the ANSYS program, beams made of glued laminated timber, reinforced with BFRP bars, were modeled in various configurations of beam height, bar length, and bar distance from the lower and upper edge of the cross-section. The best results were obtained for the highest-height reinforced beams.","PeriodicalId":32925,"journal":{"name":"Budownictwo o Zoptymalizowanym Potencjale Energetycznym","volume":"96 1","pages":"113 - 121"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78788105","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of this research is to optimize time, cost, and quality of construction projects under uncertainty utilizing the program evaluation and review technique. In this study, multi-objective functions are used to decrease total project time and total project cost while maximizing overall project quality. For satisfying time-cost-quality trade-off optimization, a multi-objective optimization strategy is required. The non-dominating sorting-II concept and the crowding distance computation mechanism are combined with the teaching learning-based optimization algorithm to optimize time-cost-quality optimization problems. Non-dominating sorting-II teaching learning-based optimization algorithm is coded in MATLAB to optimize the trade-off between time, cost, and quality optimization problems. In the proposed model, the non-dominating sorting-II approach and crowding distance computation mechanism are responsible for handling objectives effectively and efficiently. Teaching learning-based optimization algorithm’s teacher and learner phases ensure that the searched solution space is explored and exploited. The proposed algorithm is applied to a 13-activity example problem, and the results show that it provides satisfactory results.","PeriodicalId":32925,"journal":{"name":"Budownictwo o Zoptymalizowanym Potencjale Energetycznym","volume":"1 1","pages":"41 - 48"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79600603","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The number and variety of the additives, admixtures, non-conventional aggregates, fillers, and fibres currently used for concrete production have continued to grow rapidly. Regrettably, the methods for de-signing concrete mixes have not evolved at a similarly fast pace. Keeping the above facts in mind, the authors utilised a principal component analysis (PCA) to design modern concrete mixes. As an initial approach, 550 cast and tested concrete mixes were analysed. The main aim of the presented study was to prove the usefulness of the PCA methodology for the fast classification of concrete mix compositions. The acquired knowledge should be useful for the effective design of multicomponent modern concrete mixes.","PeriodicalId":32925,"journal":{"name":"Budownictwo o Zoptymalizowanym Potencjale Energetycznym","volume":"57 1","pages":"203 - 214"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85448724","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The numerical models adopted for the calculations were based on an office located in the building of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czestochowa University of Technology. Six computational variations were made that differed in the heating method, air supply and ventilation. The results of the numerical analysis for one of the models were compared with the test in the assumed measuring point recording temperature and relative humidity. The per-formed numerical analysis allows for a relatively quick assessment of the influence of the adopted boundary conditions on the formation of the microclimate in the work environment.","PeriodicalId":32925,"journal":{"name":"Budownictwo o Zoptymalizowanym Potencjale Energetycznym","volume":"179 3 1","pages":"57 - 63"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83695691","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This aim was achieved through the use of the KANO model, which helps to define and divide the attributes of a given product into four groups: must-have attributes, one-dimensional attributes, delighters and mistakes. The KANO model was used in a construction company in the process of designing a modern summer house. A questionnaire was carried out, the aim of which was to select a representative group and to investigate what attributes customers who decide to build a summer house are looking for. The result of the survey was the identification of 4 groups of attributes and obtaining information that could support the design of a modern summer house. The results showed that customers are looking for a summer house project, which has, among others attributes, solutions that can enable the house to be used as a year-round house.","PeriodicalId":32925,"journal":{"name":"Budownictwo o Zoptymalizowanym Potencjale Energetycznym","volume":"44 1","pages":"49 - 56"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81315929","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The microstructure features of ceramic bricks have been studied, which must be considered when choosing the engobe composition and engobe products’ technology. The expediency of using alkaline and substandard kaolins as the main raw material, which improves the conditions for sintering ceramic coatings by applying the single annealing technology of construction ceramics, has been studied. Due to its higher annealing reactivity, compared to traditional clay materials, the experimental raw material in the engobe composition improves the adhesion of the coating to the ceramic base and increases the strength of the decorative and protective layer.","PeriodicalId":32925,"journal":{"name":"Budownictwo o Zoptymalizowanym Potencjale Energetycznym","volume":"10 1","pages":"215 - 222"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89906573","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The world trend is changing from rapacious to considered influence such as green construction/production. Nevertheless, the terroristic war of the Russian federation against Ukraine causes the chaotic destruction and snowballing emissions from shell bursts and fires. Reclamation of land should attempt to repair the hugely dangerous influence of this, especially in the temporarily annexed lands of Ukraine. Donbas was one of the most stressed regions due to active mining and other industries, and contained more than 38% of Ukrainian damaged lands. The war deepens the situation. The most natural reconstructive measure is greening. The authors analysed the requirements for greening to gain the maximum benefits. Enduring and effective plant assortments were proposed for the region. For sanitizing the environment, experiments were performed with phytoncide activity using a photographic paper method. It was found and recommend that new phytoncide plants – Japanese quince (Chaenoméles japónica) and barberry (Bérberis) – were most effective.","PeriodicalId":32925,"journal":{"name":"Budownictwo o Zoptymalizowanym Potencjale Energetycznym","volume":"49 1","pages":"163 - 170"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73965391","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analyzed 1 MW PV installations were located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. Energy production results obtained from the installation with a tracking system were compared with a stationary farm with panels placed at an angle of 20° and an azimuth 0°. The paper also presents the types of tracking systems and discusses the advantages of this solution and its risks compared to traditional panel mounting. The results obtained in the study indicated that the use of a tracking system increased the annual energy production compared to a stationary farm.","PeriodicalId":32925,"journal":{"name":"Budownictwo o Zoptymalizowanym Potencjale Energetycznym","volume":"30 1","pages":"75 - 83"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88127415","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They concern the effects of under-ground mining on the surface and rock mass. The depression function, determined in these theories with the use of integral formulas, has been approximated to the algebraic form, in such a manner so that it was not necessary to take advantage of the integral calculus, at the same time taking into account the mean geomechanical values of the rock mass. Empirical data obtained from 34 types of rocks acquired from 16 drilling and research holes of the same rock mass allowed creating a correlation between the radius of the main influences and cohesion, unconfined compressive and indirect tensile strength of rocks, as well as the mean volumetric weight of rock mass. The obtained mathematical dependencies allow calculating the depression of land surface on the basis of the known geometry of excavations as well as their depth of deposition, and the already mentioned rock mass parameters. The differences between the results obtained from integral formulas and the obtained approximation formulas have been compared. The presented solutions are used in modelling land surface de-formations due to underground exploitation of deposits resulting from the needs of conducting analyses concerning construction in mining areas, without the need to use an integral calculus.","PeriodicalId":32925,"journal":{"name":"Budownictwo o Zoptymalizowanym Potencjale Energetycznym","volume":"125 1","pages":"123 - 128"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86427568","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
