It is this type of transport that ensures the mobility of the population and plays an important role in densely populated cities. Nevertheless, the use of urban passenger transport by the population is decreasing every year. This article discusses various approaches to assessing the performance of vehicles, analyzes ways to increase the operating speed and quality of passenger service, taking into account the current trends in the development of public transport.
