Evrimsel denklemin kusurlu bir parcasi olan insanin, tasarladiklari araciligiyla olusturdugu kusursuzluk simulasyonuna bakildiginda, tasarim nesnesinin de bir simulakr haline geldigini kavramak olasidir. Evrim ise kusursuzlastirildigi sanilan bu simulakrlarin sadece tenini yenilemek adina araclastirilmistir. Perdahçı","doi":"10.7456/10903100/010","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.7456/10903100/010","url":null,"abstract":"The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of using interactive infographics in teaching activities on student academic achievement, attitude towards the course, and motivation. In this context, we adopt pretest-posttest-control group design. The study group consists of a total of 40 students in two separate 5th classes, experiemental and control group of 20 students each, who are enrolled in the Feyzullah Turgay Ciner Secondary School in Maltepe. We conducted the experiment during the 2016-2017 academic year. The students and classes are randomly divided to the groups. Six interactive infographicss were designed in accordance with the course objectives and learning outcomes of the fifth-grade students social studies course Let’s Get to Know Our Region’. While the experiemental group recevied infographics material, the control group studied the traditional course. We utilize 20-item achievement test, motivation scale and course attitude scale developed for the social studies course as the data collection tool. The data collection tools were applied to the groups at the beginning of the treatment and as a posttest after the treatment. Statistical tests indicate that interactive infographics are more effective in increasing attitude and motivation towards the lesson compared to the environments where traditional learning method is adopted. On the other hand, the relation between the state and the cinema continues in the subjects of regulation and support. Therefore, relations with the state play a fundamental role for the development processes of national cinemas. This article’s aim is to analyze the relation of Turkish cinema with the state in the context of cinema policies based on some official documents, from the Republican period to the present day. In this study, five-year development plans, government programs, party programs and executive plans were used and literature review was made. As a result of the research based on official documents, reports and political texts, it has been observed that there is a criticism which Turkish cinema, especially in the period of 1950-80 Yeşilçam period, consist of the productions of low artistic and cultural characteristics. It is determined that the substructure and legislative arrangements are necessary for the emergence of the productions. These productions which exhibit the national culture and have artistic value are presented as a vision in political texts. After 1980, by taking well-developed cinema industries of the world as a model, it was determined that the relation between state and cinema turned in favour of Turkish cinema and the view of politics favoured the creation of a strong Turkish cinema industry. The patterns of the garment to be produced in accordance with this aim, were prepared by the researchers and after sewing prototype product with knitwear, the try-on was made on the real mannequin who has been taken measure body sizes on. Afterwards, the prepared patterns were transferred to the computer environment by digitizing in the Gerber Accumark program and the virtual trying-on was performed on the mannequin which created in V-Stitcher which is a 3-dimensional virtual simulation program. For the accordance between the virtual try-on and the actual try-on, a virtual mannequin has been created with the standards of the person who used for the body measurements. In addition, the knitwear fabric used in prototype production has been defined in the system by performing tests such as bending, stretch and shear parameters for carring the same characteristics with actual try-on. The compatibility of the virtual rehearsal and the actual rehearsal was assessed based on expert opinions. In this context, it is aimed to discuss the activities of the Community Houses for protection of our cultural heritage through “Language and Literature” and “History and Museum” branches. The aim of the study is to offer an evaluation, which contributes to the activities of both branches, basing the role of Community Houses upon protection of our tangible and intangible cultural assets. While examining public knowledge and linguistic issues as part of duties and responsibilities of the “Language and Literature” branch, studies on excavation, conference, museum building, restoration and preservation of ancient monuments were analysed by the “History and Museum” branch. In this direction, a literature review was made on cultural heritage studies that had been carried out by the Community Houses until 1951, predominantly between 1933 and 1935. We have reached some information demonstrating that people realized the importance of the cultural inventory and adopted the consciousness of protecting the national values and studies on art, history, archeology increased. It has been determined that the “Language and Literature” branch tried to instil a consciousness of national culture and emphasize the language issue throughout the country.
