Again non-thermal radiation can be categorized into four types, viz., DIM, DAM, HOM and KOM among which Jovian DAM radiation is the only one that can be observed from Earth. The DAM has frequencies in the range 3–40 MHz. At the low frequency the earth's ionosphere is not transparent. So DAM signals bellow 10 MHz cannot be observed by earth-based radio telescopes. In contrast, there is no such limitation on frequencies in observation by spacecraft. In this paper, we have attempted to understand the latitudinal beaming of Jovian DAM radiation and also to confirm DAM generation by the electron cyclotron maser instability (CMI), a widely accepted generation mechanism. In order to re-investigate the relations between KOM / HOM / non-Io DAM components, we have made comparison of the data as derived from a simultaneous study of radio emission from Jupiter by space crafts and earth based observatories. The spacecraft Juno provided a new opportunity for observing radio emission properties of Jupiter at length. Earth-based radio observatories like Long Wavelength Array Station One (LWA1) in New Mexico, USA, and Nancay Decameter Array (NDA) in France plays an important role in this regard. We have made a comparative study of Jovian DAM by NDA and JUNO and presented results on radio burst signals received using dipole antenna during the days when the space craft Juno was in vicinity of Jupiter.","PeriodicalId":325599,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computer, Electrical & Communication Engineering (ICCECE)","volume":"101 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121845004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Traffic delay is the severe problem in developing countries as well as in developed countries, caused by traffic congestion. Several factors (traffic volume, green time, weather conditions, road conditions, visibility) influenced the delays hence must be considered while estimating the delay. Prediction of traffic delay is an essential task for optimization of traffic flow on the road network. In this paper, traffic delay is predicted using Artificial Neural Networks (AANs) approach as it is one of the best methods for modeling and prediction. The results exhibit that the proposed methods may be used as a propitious approach in traffic delay prediction.","PeriodicalId":325599,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computer, Electrical & Communication Engineering (ICCECE)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130090812","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The path of totality was visible in 14 states, while other states noted a partial eclipse. Highlighting the principle of obscuring the Sun from a viewer on earth, including the geometry of a total solar eclipse, we witnessed the orbits of the Earth and Moon, including the phases observed during totality. Within this paper, we have presented some interesting eclipse photographs with the diamond ring effect as well as Baily's beads before totality. Sequences of the solar eclipse have been examined and some characteristics have been pointed out, e.g., the visibility of the stars and 4 planets at such times. In addition, radio propagation and observations at 21cm during the period before and after the event have examined. Optimal allocation of DGs in the network system leads to the minimization of the overall distribution power loss as well as the improvement of the overall voltage profile. Moreover the size of DG unit that alters reactive power flow and its path in a local radial distribution network can also have a substantial influence on voltage stability. This paper proposes an optimization methodology for identifying proper location and size of DG units in local distribution system. The optimization is implemented with the help of a particle swarm optimization technique. Results show the importance of selecting the location and size of DG units for enhancing the voltage stability of local radial distribution system.","PeriodicalId":325599,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computer, Electrical & Communication Engineering (ICCECE)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121494735","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this research work we studied a novel collection of treebanks with homogeneous syntactic dependency annotation [1] for six languages along with other recent techniques in this area. We investigated the possibility of adding new languages in this module and successfully added universal Bangla dependency annotation. Energy prices or Locational Marginal Prices (LMPs) act as economic signals for the traders who utilize the networks in the system. LMP at any node is defined as the total cost of the incremental outputs of the marginal generators to deliver one unit of energy at a particular node without increasing the flow of the congested line. The pricing at various buses or nodes is very critical which depends upon the maximum line loadability, losses in the lines, generator bids, load costs, choosing a proper reference bus in the system and even meticulous planning of efficient management by the Independent System Operator (ISO). This paper focuses and highlights the basic concepts of LMP and it reveals how congestion, congestion-surplus in the line change due to trading of electricity and how these inculcate the LMPs at various nodes in our eight bus system to vary and alert the market participants about market power due to congestion. This has been incorporated by Shift Factor (SF) based DC-Optimal power flow (DC-OPF) model.","PeriodicalId":325599,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computer, Electrical & Communication Engineering (ICCECE)","volume":"22 Suppl 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126064239","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the traditional loading of grid network is often excessive cost and so estimation of smart power grid network increase day by day through mathematical modeling tools which reduces operating time and cost. Furthermore the proposed smart model can also reduce computing costs together with time concern than more accurate problem representation in classical orientation. This paper establish a Stability analysis of IEEE 14 bus power model using demand respond monthly data of West Bengal Power scenario and demonstrates its feasibility. The results obtained are verified with the standard available results. We shortly summarize in our paper the approach of physical application, calculation procedure and difference types of stability possibilities that are illustrated in detail in the references. Load modelling is also applied when demand needs to be shifted at point of response in our experimental investigation that resuts the informational value and reliability of the different indices. Method of the experimentation was compared with the different index values observed by numerical simulation in time domain on realistic sample network. Real time traffic prediction can improve the performance of GPON system. H-DBA, a real time Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation is proposed for performance improvement for GPON System. Proposed H-DBA meets technical requirements of optical network for high bandwidth, low delay and low packet loss with respect to real time traffic prediction. Using high order moving traffic prediction model, H-DBA scheme predicts the amount of high priority traffic arriving during the waiting period, as a basis for bandwidth allocation, so as to ensure the performance of high priority services. The purpose of this paper is to find a number of techniques which are used to find the optimum set of features suitable for the coin recognition. Three different approaches are used, the first involving Gabor filter, the second based on Hu invariant moments and the third based on a set of hybrid invariant moments derived from normalized central image moments. Prior to the feature extraction, a pre-processing step is introduced to enhance the content of the image. The features are applied to a dataset of Indian coins divided into four classes and four categories in each class, and classification is done based on minimum difference classifier (MDC), Neural Network (NN) and Neuro Fuzzy Classifier (NFC) between training and testing sets. The performance of the classifiers is measured using confusion matrix.","PeriodicalId":325599,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computer, Electrical & Communication Engineering (ICCECE)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130226986","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
