Using data from Jan 2021 to Mar 2022 and the Error Correction Model, it finds negative short-term correlations between BOPO and LDR with NIM in KBMI 1 and positive long-term correlations with BI Rate. KBMI 2 exhibits negative short-term correlations between inflation and LDR with NIM. KBMI 3 shows negative short-term correlations with Covid-19, LDR, and BOPO with NIM. KBMI 4 experiences negative impacts from BOPO, Covid-19, and LDR on NIM in both short and long terms. The study emphasizes the importance of managing operational costs and credit distribution for NIM stability in the short term and highlights the significant influence of Bank Indonesia's benchmark interest rate policy on NIM in the long term, requiring careful adjustments to prevent excessive fluctuations.","PeriodicalId":32395,"journal":{"name":"Sriwijaya International Journal of Dynamic Economics and Business","volume":"31 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141647889","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In West Kalimantan province, despite negative growth, primary and secondary sectors surprisingly drive positives contraction on the growth of mining, electricity, and agriculture. Based on this situation, we investigate the possibility of the structural transformation process during the pandemic. We translate Lewis's transformation theory to the chart of primary, secondary, and tertiary to see how the trendlines work generally. We use Static-Dynamic Location Quotient, Klassen typology, and Shift Share analysis, then discover negatives contraction in 2020 not significantly affected each sectors, but the pattern indicates the failed of transformation process between tertiary-primary, and the primary naturally proved as the main sector in economic structure. The critical point of our finding is the failure of structural transformation process potentially caused and locked by the failure of labour shifting.","PeriodicalId":32395,"journal":{"name":"Sriwijaya International Journal of Dynamic Economics and Business","volume":"37 44","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141644917","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Data from 16 food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the IDX has been taken from 2021 to 2022 and analysed using a panel data regression approach and model robustness testing using the robust least squares analysis method. The research results show the positive effect of enterprise risk management and intellectual capital on firm value, as well as the negative effect of sustainability reports on firm value. The moderation results show that the interaction of profitability weakens the positive effect of enterprise risk management and intellectual capital on firm value. The results also reveal that profitability strengthens the negative influence of sustainability reports on firm value. Empirically, the research was carried out for companies in industrial sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data consist of panel data of 2012-2017 totaling 157 samples after screening for outliers and normality. Structural equation modeling (SEM) is employed to test the recursive model. The results reveal that investment aggressiveness is influenced by sales growth, that is, the higher the aggressiveness of working capital investment, the lower the risk of liquidity. Furthermore, the lower liquidity risk has an impact on the lower operational risk. The lower the operational risk, the lower the profitability, and the lower the value of the company or the higher the financial risk. The findings are supported by previous studies which show that the higher the liquidity risk, the lower the financial risk. In short, the aggressiveness of working capital does not create value for shareholders.","PeriodicalId":32395,"journal":{"name":"Sriwijaya International Journal of Dynamic Economics and Business","volume":" 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139137567","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although there is a growing body of literature on the positive social influence of peers as a preventative measure, it is unclear how they react when convinced of the truth of its negative impact on health. This experimental study aims to examine the impact of negative health consequences on adolescents' emotions and behavior. Through an online invitation and randomization process, 78 high school students from South Sumatra Province, Indonesia were eligible to participate in the online experimental study. We compared two groups (experimental vs. control) to examine the impact of negative health consequences on their emotions (empathy) and behavior (prosocial behavior). Our findings show that, as compared to adolescents in the non-convincing health message condition (n=40), adolescents in the convincing negative health message condition (n=38) had higher empathy (sign=0.005) and prosocial behavior (sign=0.028) to assist their smoking peers. Our findings provide a valuable information to sustainability development in the future through reducing underage smokers. We suggest that the use of convincing method to develop a school-based social marketing program for handling adolescent smoking problem","PeriodicalId":32395,"journal":{"name":"Sriwijaya International Journal of Dynamic Economics and Business","volume":" 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139137508","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In line with the research aim, this dissertation adopts a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires among 25-30 Indonesian expatriates who work at multinational corporations in the United Kingdom. The finding demonstrates a significant relationship between motivational and cross-cultural adjustment and expatriate performance effectiveness. Additionally, this research claims that most expatriates received no training prior to departing. In implication, managers are recommended to be more receptive to expatriates in terms of helping them assimilate to local culture rapidly and accordingly. Also, further research should investigate gender effect as a moderator between four-dimensional Cultural Intelligence (CQ) to Cross Cultural Adjustment (CCA), which may affect their job performances.","PeriodicalId":32395,"journal":{"name":"Sriwijaya International Journal of Dynamic Economics and Business","volume":" 47","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139137800","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the help of research assistants, the team collected data from five districts in the Lombok Island, Indonesia. Data were collected from purposively selected small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that were established before the pandemic and were able to get through it. The findings provided some interesting understandings. First, EO does not directly strengthen knowledge assets (KAs). However, in difficult situations, EO becomes the foundation for redirecting and redesigning internal human resource practices (IHRPs) and relational capability (RC) to strengthen KAs and ensure firm survival. Second, EO prevents firms from failing by being proactive and innovative risk takers in reformulating and energizing internal practices and capabilities to strengthen KAs and survival. Third, survival requires innovativeness, proactiveness and risk taking behavior to quickly and efficiently redesign strategy, capability and assets.","PeriodicalId":32395,"journal":{"name":"Sriwijaya International Journal of Dynamic Economics and Business","volume":"87 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139318411","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It plays an important role in determining service quality, in which most of the industry depends on the success of this aspect. This study aims to investigate the factors that influence COBSB, considering the role of proactive personality, role stress, and creativity. There were 160 hotel employees in Surakarta, who participated in the survey by using a purposive sampling, while SEM-PLS was conducted to analyse data. The results showed that proactive personality has a positive effect on employee creativity, which in turn influences COBSB in the dimensions of external representation and internal influence. Furthermore, internal influence has a positive effect on service delivery. In addition, internal influence also mediates the effect of employee creativity on service delivery. The findings also showed the negative effect of role stress in the dimensions of role conflict on employee creativity.","PeriodicalId":32395,"journal":{"name":"Sriwijaya International Journal of Dynamic Economics and Business","volume":"2 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139318347","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
