At around energy $E simeq$ a few $times$100 MeV and baseline $L$ of a few $times$1000 km, CP phase effect is $sim$10 times larger than that of the conventional LBL accelerator neutrino experiments. We report here a few progresses: (1) To analyze physics in the region, a new perturbative framework at around the solar-scale enhancement is developed. (2) To know the characteristic features of CP $delta$ dependence of the atmospheric neutrinos at low energies, we plot the ratio of the $nu_{e}$ and $bar{nu}_{e}$ fluxes $F(delta)/F(delta=0)$ for $delta=pm frac{pi}{2}$ and $pi$ as a function of $E$ using the Honda {it et al.} flux. Interestingly, it shows $delta$ dependence of $simeq$5-10% level, with positive (negative) sign for $nu_{e}$ ($bar{nu}_{e}$). (3) To reduce the flux systematic errors, measurement of muon energy distribution around $sim$1 GeV at high altitude may be useful. Water Cherenkov or muon range detectors may be the options with advantage in the latter if it is magnetized in view of the $delta$ dependence of the flux.","PeriodicalId":322602,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 21st international workshop on neutrinos from accelerators — PoS(NuFact2019)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114961457","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Radiative corrections in the theory with electron and neutrinos only involve three effective couplings. One is the Fermi constant which is known with sub-ppm accuracy. Another one has a small error of order $0.02~%$. The uncertainty of the third one is limited by the knowledge of hadronic contributions to charge-isospin vector-vector correlation function.","PeriodicalId":322602,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 21st international workshop on neutrinos from accelerators — PoS(NuFact2019)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122403726","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Meanwhile, the studies of indirect probes of BSM physics, with all their diversity, have been progressing both in accurracy and in setting up observables with reduced theoretical uncertainties. The observation of flavour anomalies in $b$ hadron decays represents an important part of the program of indirect detection of BSM physics. Several benchmark analyses involving leptonic or semileptonic decays are presented, with an emphasis on intriguing patterns which are systematic in their trend, though not individually significant yet.","PeriodicalId":322602,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 21st international workshop on neutrinos from accelerators — PoS(NuFact2019)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132803266","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We examine areas of technological development with the potential for high-impact on the Fermilab RCS design - low-loss slip-stacking, advanced neutrino-target R&D, laser-stripping H$^{-}$ injection, fast-ramping super-ferric magnets, nonlinear integrable optics, electron lens devices, and next-generation halo monitors. A brief overview is given on the Fermilab Accelerator Science & Technology (FAST) facility, where the latter three technologies will undergo comprehensive beam tests.","PeriodicalId":322602,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 21st international workshop on neutrinos from accelerators — PoS(NuFact2019)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129735978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The two boards recommended that the experiment proceeds further to a Comprehensive Design phase in the context of the new CERN Working group \"Physics Beyond Colliders\", aiming at presenting a CERN strategy for the European Strategy meeting of 2019. In its initial phase, the 400 GeV proton beam extracted from the SPS will be dumped on a heavy target with the aim of integrating $2times10^{20}$ \u0000pot in 5 years. A dedicated detector will allow the study of neutrino cross-sections and angular distributions. \u0000$nu_{tau}$ deep inelastic scattering cross sections will be measured with a statistics 1000 times larger than currently available, with the extraction of the F4 and F5 structure functions, never measured so far and allow for new tests of lepton non-universality with sensitivity to BSM physics.","PeriodicalId":322602,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 21st international workshop on neutrinos from accelerators — PoS(NuFact2019)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124076301","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Current tau neutrinonucleon cross section measurement suffer large ∼ 30% statistical and ∼ 50% systematic uncertainties. In near future statistical uncertainty will be reduced to a few % by the SHiP experiment, or by the experiments such as SHiP. DsTau (NA65) experiment at CERN aims to reduce the systematic uncertainty on tau neutrino-nucleon cross section through investigating a precise measurement on tau neutrino production, Ds → τ +ντ differential production cross section with tungsten target. The uncertainty of the tau neutrino flux will be reduced to 10 % from 50%. Collaboration will collect 2.3×108 proton interactions with tungsten target and study about 105 charm associated interactions. A pilot run was performed in 2018 Aug and collecting about a tenth of final statistics to perform full analysis chain. Here the analysis stream and the analysis status of 2018 Aug pilot run will be described.","PeriodicalId":322602,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 21st international workshop on neutrinos from accelerators — PoS(NuFact2019)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130720642","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our goal is to measure the process with a single event sensitivity of $1 times 10^{-13}$ or $2 times 10^{-14}$ for a graphite or silicon carbide target. That is one or two orders of magnitude better than the current upper limits, $7 times 10^{-13}$ for a gold target by the SINDRUM-II experiment at PSI and $4.6 times 10^{-12}$ for a titanium target by the experiment at TRIUMF. We are in the middle of preparation for the experiment. The construction of the secondary beamline, H Line, is now in progress. Four tracking detectors have been manufactured in 2017, and the optimization study of the filling gas is ongoing to improve the performance. After getting the better hit efficiency, we measured the momentum spectrum of electrons produced through muon-decay-in-orbit from a carbon target at J-PARC MLF D2 Area in March, 2019. In this paper, the preparation status of the DeeMe experiment will be presented.","PeriodicalId":322602,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 21st international workshop on neutrinos from accelerators — PoS(NuFact2019)","volume":"201 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127505314","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
