The aseptic germination protocorms of C. appendiculata seeds were used as explant materials to explore the effects of different basic media, types of plant growth regulators, anti-browning agents and their concentrations on the induction of cluster buds of C. appendiculata . The results showed that: 1/4MS medium was the suitable basic medium for cluster buds growing; when the concentration of plant growth regulator TDZ was 2.0 mg/L and the concentration of IAA was 0.2 mg/L, the induction rates of cluster bud were higher which are 72.58% and 55.63% respectively; when the anti-browning agent was PVP and its concentration is 2 000 mg/L, the induction rate of cluster buds was higher which is 79.90%. The suitable conditions for C. appendiculata cluster buds induction are: 1/4MS + TDZ 2.0 mg/L+ IAA 0.1 mg/L+ PVP 2 000 mg/L, and the induction rate can reach 81.16%. This provided a basis for establishing a rapid propagation technology system of C. appendiculata and realizing its large-scale artificial cultivation.","PeriodicalId":32255,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Plant Molecular Breeding","volume":"30 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88661374","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to ensure survival, plants have formed a complex and efficient regulatory network to resist the cold stress or gradually adapt to it. WRKY transcription factors play an important role in plant abiotic stress response. Although exogenous sugar can also improve the resistance of plants to cold stress, the response mechanism of plants to cold stress under the interaction between transcription factors and sugar is still unclear. In this review, the author introduced the damage of cold stress on plants, briefly summarized the mechanism and regulatory network of WRKY transcription factors in response to stress. Moreover, the author also reviewed the response of horticultural plants to cold stress after exogenous sugar and explained the possible cold resistance mechanism of horticultural plants under the interaction between WRKY and sugar, which aimed to provide some reference for the study of the internal molecular mechanism of horticultural plants coping with cold stress.","PeriodicalId":32255,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Plant Molecular Breeding","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135840052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results showed that with the increase of nitrogen application rate, the accumulation of fertilizer nitrogen and total nitrogen in rice plants at different growth stages, and the accumulation of nitrogen in various organs at mature stage increased significantly, and the accumulation of nitrogen per panicle at mature stage was the highest, reaching 67.20%~69.02%. The transport amount of nitrogen from different sources in different vegetative organs of rice plants increased with the increase of nitrogen application rate, and the comparison of nitrogen transport amount in organs was as follows: leaf > stem > root; After full heading, the accumulation of nitrogen from different sources and its contribution rate to grain nitrogen per spike increased with the increase of nitrogen application rate, but with the increase of nitrogen application rate, the residual amount of soil fertilizer nitrogen increased significantly, the residual rate showed a downward trend, and the nitrogen loss rate increased significantly. Dry-wet alternate irrigation treatment can increase nitrogen accumulation in different organs of rice in different periods, improve nitrogen use efficiency and rice yield to a certain extent. This study summarized the laws of nitrogen absorption, utilization, residue and loss of rice under different irrigation conditions and different nitrogen application conditions, which provided a theoretical basis for efficient cultivation of rice.","PeriodicalId":32255,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Plant Molecular Breeding","volume":"10 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88958975","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
