This estuary is located in Sungsang and was the meeting point of some tributaries to the Bangka Sea. It is necessary to determine the chlorophyll-a concentration in the Musi River estuary using effective methods. The purpose of this study was to investigate the distribution patterns of chlorophyll-a in the Musi River Estuary using multitemporal sentinel 2a imagery. The study was conducted in February 2020 using 2018-2020 Sentinel-2a imagery. Methods were developed to achieve the objective. The method of field survey and processing of optical image data. These methods showed a correlation between insitu results and image processing results using the Pentury algorithm (1997) of r = 0.563, indicating a high relationship. The RSME value of the Pentury algorithm (1997) is 0.01, which proves that the result is very accurate. In 2018, the distribution of chlorophyll-a was rather low in the riverine areas and higher toward the sea. In 2019 and 2020, the distribution pattern of chlorophyll-a was almost identical, i.e. chlorophyll-a tended to be high in the river basins and lower toward the sea.","PeriodicalId":322148,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd Sriwijaya International Conference on Environmental Issues, SRICOENV 2022, October 5th, 2022, Palembang, South Sumatera, Indonesia","volume":"273 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120886046","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Molasses is a cheap carbon source with an abundance of fermentable sugars as a fermentation substrate. Microorganisms are required for the bioconversion of fermentable sugars in molasses to bioethanol. The main objective of this study is to produce bioethanol from molasses using Lachancea fermentati as the fermenter. The ability of L. fermentati to adapt to the fermentation environment was investigated by physiological characterization. The physiological characteristics consist of a mixture of NaCl, molasses and pH in the test medium. The fermentation is carried out directly by varying the molasses concentration and fermentation time. The test results show that L. fermentati can grow well at a pH of 3 to 6, NaCl concentration of 6% and molasses concentration of 15% at a temperature of 30 °C measured at 600 nm OD. The best bioethanol yield was obtained with 9.4% from 25% molasses and 9.8% at a fermentation time of 48 hours. The observation results suggest that L. fermentati has the potential to produce bioethanol from molasses if the conditions are appropriately adjusted.","PeriodicalId":322148,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd Sriwijaya International Conference on Environmental Issues, SRICOENV 2022, October 5th, 2022, Palembang, South Sumatera, Indonesia","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129157236","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Community Plantation Forest (HTR) is one of the social forestry schemes which is a new breakthrough in alleviating poverty in communities around the forest. This study is aimed to reveal the socio-economic conditions of farmers over time to get a measurable picture of the community changes on their socio-economic conditions. The research was conducted in Budi Lestari Village, South Lampung Regency, Lampung Province. Data collection methods include in-depth interviews with selected informants by purposive sampling, field observations and focus group discussions. Data analysis was undertaken through tabulating and examining all data from various sources. Those are using qualitative descriptive analysis. The result shows that land-based income is the main source of income for farmers, who are highly dependent on arable land, which is located in state forests (HTR). Plantation commodities, especially rubber, became the main source of income used to meet the needs of daily life, although their contribution decreased slightly compared to previous year. Some farmers cultivate forestry commodities, although under limited quantities. Some of them started to replace unproductive rubber plants to sengon plants. HTR area was planted with sengon under agroforestry system to support food security programs under intercropping forestry trees, estate crops and agricultural crops","PeriodicalId":322148,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd Sriwijaya International Conference on Environmental Issues, SRICOENV 2022, October 5th, 2022, Palembang, South Sumatera, Indonesia","volume":"46 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129884604","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study of the length-weight relationship and food habits of Pangasius polyuranodon is expected to be an input for the development of science and management of fish resources. The purpose of this study was to analyze the length-weight relationship, condition factors and food habits of juaro fish (P. polyuranodon) in Bengawan Solo River in Bojonegoro Regency, East Java. The sample of juaro fish was collected as many as 63 fish, measured in length and weight, the stomach and gut were taken, put in a small plastic bag and given a solution of formaline as a preservative. Then the gut contents analyzed in the laboratory using the index of preponderance method. The results showed that the total length of P. polyuranodon ranged from 15-51 cm; sex ratio 0.7-0.9; condition factors ranged from 1.09 to 1.23; the length-weight relationships are negative allometric with the following equation Y= 0.2x2.1048 R2 = 0.9737 (April) and Y= 0.2012 x2.1048 R2 = 0.9846 (August). Based on the preponderance index methods, P. polyuranodon is omnivorous. The main food is fish fragments (42.61%); plant fragments (26.15%), detritus (25.66%), fragment crustaceans (3.42% ) and crab fragments (2.1%).","PeriodicalId":322148,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd Sriwijaya International Conference on Environmental Issues, SRICOENV 2022, October 5th, 2022, Palembang, South Sumatera, Indonesia","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133686923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
