The HGA is a key component of the read/write assembly of a hard disk drive. This paper presents an image-based automatic inspection method for micro-contamination detection. Maximum likelihood estimation combined with angle measurements are proposed for identifying defects. The performance of the proposed maximum likelihood estimation and angle measurement method is compared to previous angle measurement and intensity thresholding methods. Unfortunately, there is still no practical tool to verify the UML diagrams automatically. This paper proposes an alternative to translate UML activity diagram into a colored petri nets with inscription. The model translation rules are proposed to guide the automatic translation of the activity diagram with atomic action into a CPN model. Moreover, the relevant basic arc inscriptions are generated without manual elaboration. In this paper, firstly we presented efficient method for Video-frame quality improvement to suppress flash occurred within video frame using logarithm, wavelet and contourlet transform. In addition, wavelet and contourlet transform also performed denoising. Secondly, for shot boundary detection, we used gray-scale histogram differences with edge change ratio. Furthermore, the adaptive threshold algorithm for shot transition detection was proposed. To develop the system, a Thai - Isarn dialect dictionary and linguistics rules database were constructed. The dictionary contained 8,050 Thai words. Moreover, an example bilingual corpus was constructed. Since Thai is non-segmented language, input sentence was segmented to sequence of word using longest matching algorithm. The Thai word was looked for the corresponding Isarn word from the dictionary. For word that may has several meanings, we used the rule based and example based to select the most suitable meaning. In order to evaluate the performance of the purposed system, 854 Thai sentences were translated by the system. Flower Pollination Extreme Learning Machine (FP-ELM) model that it was merged by ELM and Flower Pollination Algorithm (FPA) to adjust the input weight and biases for improve performance of output weight when the input weight and biases were calculated. Nonetheless, FP-ELM may cause overfitting and more number of hidden nodes were used. In this paper, Meta Learning of Flower Pollination Extreme Learning Machine (Meta-FPELM) was proposed that compart the input weight, calculate to hidden nodes as FP-ELM and combine to the last output weight. Together with these upgrades, the ALICE Online and Offline computing systems are being redesigned and upgraded to a new common system called O2. The system is made of a software framework and a computing facility. The concept of the framework consists of online reconstruction of the data from the ALICE detector and archival of the reconstructed data from the O2 system to permanent data storage. The design of the Control, Configuration, and Monitoring (CCM) is one of the key components of the O2 system. This paper focuses on the configuration module that will allow dynamic configuration of processes and environment parameters during runtime. This is due to the fact that clinical symptoms and radiographic image of both Hydrocephalus (HC) and Cerebral Atrophy (CA) have similar characters. In this paper, we propose to use two new features: Sulci-Ratio (SR) and Frontal and Occipital Horn Angle (FOHA) together with typical features: Evans Ratio, Frontal and Occipital Horn Ratio and Ventricular Angle to classify between HC and CA. The experimental results show that Sulci-Ratios of HC and CA are difference. So this kind of ratio can help a lot in differentiate between HC and CA. The use of these two new features makes an attractive improvement as compare to most recent researches in the field. Those researches are mainly focus on the Ventricular which makes it more difficult to distinguish between HC and CA from MRI images. The performance of our methods is improved by 59% of true positive rate, 36.8% of false positive rate and 66.1% of F-measure from the classification of HC. However, due to open and dynamic and the lack of centralized controlling authority, it provides an idle medium for selfish and malicious peers to exploit the network for their own benefits. This affects the performance, sustainability and future growth of P2P network. In P2P network, peers interact with unknown peers and does not know to what extent they can trust the other peer and the resources provided by them. In this paper, we propose credibility based feedback for reputation computation (CredRep) for a distributed P2P file sharing environment. Due to peer's dual roles in the network, we propose two reputations namely reputation as a requester and reputation as a resource provider. The former is computed using peer's resource contribution and feedback contribution; and the later is computed using feedbacks of other peers on the quality of resources shared by a peer. The reputation as a requester is used to detect and deter free riders and to overcome the feedback sparsity problem. The reputation as a resource provider is used to maintain the quality of resources available in the network. We have evaluated our proposed system by means of a simulation under different network environments. However, the multi-criteria recommender system suggests that considering the effects of criteria ratings to the overall rating is the key to provide more personalized recommendations. In this work, a novel multi-criteria recommendation technique is proposed. The prediction from each criterion is made by considering the trade-off between the neighborhood-based and the model-based techniques. The effects of the criterion ratings to the overall rating are measured by the similarities among the user preference patterns, extracted from matrix factorization. Thus, to avoid as many casualties, helps and assistance should reach the accident sites as soon as possible. This can be enabled by quickly detecting the accidents and reporting them to the related official units. To this end, we propose an accident detection device using an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and 3G cellular module along with an accident detection method. Our detection approach combines both IMU sensory data and odometry in order to detect an accident and then send the accident coordinate over cellular network to be reported on a map.
