An indepth\u0000interview was used, applied to six companies. The study concludes that\u0000the reasons for the non-adoption of electronic commerce by SMEs in Puerto\u0000Rico are lack of technological knowledge related to Electronic Commerce and\u0000the excessive attention to the traditional channel. This work is focused on this type of firms and a mixed\u0000methodology has been used to obtain data, which included the preparation of\u0000a field work supported by consultations with relevant personalities from academia,\u0000industry and consulting services in the area. Nieves-Casasnovas, Frank Lozada-Contreras","doi":"10.33801/fe.v25i1.18496","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.33801/fe.v25i1.18496","url":null,"abstract":"The purpose of this study was to determine what type of marketing communication\u0000objectives are present in the digital content marketing developed by\u0000luxury auto brands with social media presence in Puerto Rico, particularly Facebook.\u0000A longitudinal multiple-case study design was used to analyze five luxury\u0000auto brands using content analysis on Facebook posts. This analysis included\u0000identification of marketing communication objectives through social media\u0000content marketing strategies, type of media content and social media metrics.\u0000Our results showed that the most used objectives are brand awareness, brand\u0000personality, and brand salience. The theory through which such a link is established\u0000is the theory of dangerous places. These places are characterized by high levels\u0000of unemployment, poverty, high demographic density, etc. These phenomena\u0000are also threats to security. That there are territories that have such characteristics\u0000is, in a way, the responsibility of governments. Thus, they are also responsible\u0000for the thousands of companies that annually incur millions in losses due\u0000to business victimization. The main conclusion is that there are differences between the succession pro-cess for daughters and sons because of a stereotypical concept of women’s role and leadership within businesses. Daughters appear to have full access to presidency only when the father dies. Before that, daughters exercise a periph-eral leadership within the organization to construct their leadership space and, at the same time, transmit the values of the business. Opposed to daughters, sons achieve full presidency power and leadership upon confrontation with the father. Se aplicó un método cuantitativo/cualitativo, utilizando un cuestionario a 20 mujeres trabajadoras de la comunidad. Pullés, Paula Di Rocco","doi":"10.33801/fe.v24i2.18177","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.33801/fe.v24i2.18177","url":null,"abstract":"El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar empíricamente la relación de los ratios financieros y las características de la empresa, con la inclusión de un párrafo de énfasis por la incertidumbre sobre empresa en marcha en el informe del auditor. Se estudian las firmas que realizan oferta pública de sus acciones en los mercados de valores de Argentina. El análisis estadístico se realiza en dos etapas: análisis bivariado con tests no paramétricos y análisis multivariado empleando una regresión probit. Los resultados del análisis bivariado muestran que la antigüedad, la razón corriente y los ratios de endeudamiento están significativamente asociados con la incertidumbre de empresa en marcha. Esto se realiza mediante la aplicación de una investigación de lógica deductiva, alcance correlacional y mediante el uso de datos de fuente secundaria proveniente de instituciones públicas en el Ecuador, el método estadístico utilizado fue el análisis de regresión múltiple log – log en donde la variable dependiente fue el crecimiento económico y la independiente la apertura comercial, cada una de estas variables fueron analizadas a través del modelo Cobb Douglas. Se concluye que no existe una relación directa proporcional entre la apertura comercial y el crecimiento económico. Sin embargo, las variables capital y trabajo resultan significativas para explicar el crecimiento económico y se muestra una relación directa entre el crecimiento económico, capital y trabajo.
