It identifies a research gap in understanding the effects of structural, relational, and cognitive capital, emphasizing the need for further exploration. The study also examines the relationship between information sharing and purchase intention, addressing a previously neglected area. Additionally, it explores how age and gender, influence consumer characteristics. The empirical data collected from 223 respondents who buy consumer goods through social media as part of the millennial generation through an online survey is analyzed using SEM. Results indicate that structural, cognitive, and relational capital influence the exchange of information. The behavior of sharing information indicates that the more people who provide positive information about a consumer goods product, the higher the intention to buy, it is anticipated that the company will increase its promotion on Twitter and Instagram. This is due to the fact that many consumers use the platform in their daily lives and consumers desire to always be willing to share the information they possess. Moreover, younger women are more inclined to share information based on their age and gender characteristics.","PeriodicalId":31924,"journal":{"name":"Media Ekonomi dan Manajemen","volume":"19 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139530084","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research was conducted in South Sulawesi, Indonesia with 167 respondents. The sample used was purposive sampling, with the specific criteria for the level of Indonesian wealth. Quantitative methods and a problem-solving approach were used. We found that gender has a negative and significant effect, education, living area, and marital status positively and significantly affect investment decisions. Women tend to prefer low-risk investments compared to men largely attributed to lower levels of financial literacy among women. In terms of education, investors with higher levels of education are more likely to make more informed investment decisions as they demonstrate improved risk management skills and a higher level of financial literacy. The living area also influences their investment decisions, with urban investors having easier access to information and knowledge about investments. Marital status also affects investment decisions, as married investors often prioritize the responsibility of their investments. However, age have a negative and not significant on investment decisions. This can be explained by the higher number of younger people becoming involved in investment decisions.","PeriodicalId":31924,"journal":{"name":"Media Ekonomi dan Manajemen","volume":" 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139620725","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to analyze the effect of asymmetric price transmission on several Indonesian domestic commodities. Asymmetric price transmission occurs if the speed of price adjustment above or below the price trend is not the same. Positive or negative price changes occur if the price is above or below the price trend. Under dynamic conditions, each price will adjust to the long-term price level. This study applies the error correction model (ECM) method to capture the speed of adjustment of each commodity following the long-term price level. This study involves asymmetric price transmission to see price adjustments. Econometric testing through the error correction model is used to determine how much the domestic price adjustments are when there is an increase or decrease in international prices for essential commodities. The results showed an adjustment in domestic prices when global prices increased or decreased for wheat flour, granulated sugar, soybeans, beef, and broiler meat. Based on the coefficient and significance level, there was no domestic price adjustment for rice and broiler chicken eggs. Policy implications include providing input for policymakers in determining prices so that market prices are stable and in line with people's purchasing power.","PeriodicalId":31924,"journal":{"name":"Media Ekonomi dan Manajemen","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44387235","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the company must leverage innovative work behavior to all employees to continuously create new products/services and update the work process. Researchers and practitioners argue that proper leadership, positive psychological, and knowledge-sharing activities are relevant factors in encouraging and accelerating employees’ innovative work behavior. In order to improve State-owned enterprise (SOE) employees’ innovative work behavior and bear up previous research gaps, this study investigates whether transformational leadership and psychological capital encourage innovative work behavior in SOE employees, directly and indirectly, using knowledge-sharing as an intervening variable. The researcher processed clean data from 303 respondents who completed online questionnaires using the Structural Equation Modeling method. The result found that transformational leadership and psychological capital positively affected the innovative work behavior of SOE employees, both directly and through knowledge-sharing activities. However, the magnitude of psychological capital toward the innovative behavior of SOE employees directly and through knowledge-sharing activities is more substantial than transformational leadership. Furthermore, theoretical and practical implications are discussed. Furthermore, theoretical and practical implications are discussed. Employer branding has an important role in helping organizations find new employees and retain existing employees. The goal of this study was to look at the effect of employer branding on organizational commitment and turnover intention in the pharmaceutical industry, as it was moderated by generation. The population sample is made up of Generation X, Y, and Z workers in the pharmaceutical industries in Indonesia. The sampling technique uses a non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling. PLS-SEM was utilized in this study to analyze data from 175 samples. The research results have proven that employer branding increases organizational commitment and decreases turnover intention. Organizational commitment reduces turnover intention. Moreover, the relationship between employer branding and turnover intention might be mediated by organizational commitment. The association between organizational commitment and turnover intention or employer branding and turnover intention cannot be moderated by generation because it has no impact on turnover intention in the pharmaceutical industries. Corporate leaders need to establish and develop employer branding to increase organizational commitment and reduce turnover intentions in the pharmaceutical industry.","PeriodicalId":31924,"journal":{"name":"Media Ekonomi dan Manajemen","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45376889","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, managing employee well-being is crucial for the industry to help its employees feel positive while serving the companies. This research aimed to examine the roles of followership styles, job satisfaction and perceived supervisor support in promoting psychological well-being in the Indonesian air transport operator contexts. Specifically, the research examined the impact of job satisfaction on psychological well-being and assessed whether job satisfaction itself was influenced by employees’ followership styles and their perceived supervisor support. A test was also performed to examine the moderating role of perceived supervisor support in the relationship between followership styles and job satisfaction. On-line questionnaires were distributed to potential respondents using a combination of convenience and purposive sampling. A number of 109 non-managerial employees from several Indonesian commercial and non-commercial air transport operators involved. Structural Equation Modeling was adopted to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings showed the majority of respondents enacted “exemplary followership” styles. This style positively related to job satisfaction. However, perceived supervisor support was not found to moderate the relationship. The managerial implication of the findings is outlined.","PeriodicalId":31924,"journal":{"name":"Media Ekonomi dan Manajemen","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42359963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
