Dekke na niarsik is one of the traditional foods made from carp that is used in various traditional events of the Batak Toba tribe. Along with the development of the times, dekke na niarsik remains and continues to be consumed by the Batak Toba people, especially in Pematangsiantar City. The main problem of this research focused on the dekke na niarsik which is the cultural identity of the Batak Toba in Pematangsiantar city and the functions contained in the dekke na niarsik for the Batak Toba people in Pematangsiantar city. This research used the theory of the function of food by Foster and Anderson, and the theory of cultural identity by Myron Lustig. The findings of the research reveal that dekke na niarsik is a cultural heritage of the Batak Toba people in the form of culinary offerings. Dekke is award an odd number of times on each anniversary or event. Dekke na niarsik is given at the time of marriage, birth, seven months, adopting sidi, graduating from college, until the death ceremony. HKBP cannot be separated from the life of the Toba Batak people. although basically the HKBP is a fellowship of Christians from all ethnic groups and groups. This study discusses the role of the church in an effort to maintain the cultural identity of the Toba Batak diaspora in Denpasar. and implications for both the congregation and the community around the church. This study uses the Functionalism Theory from Talcott Parsons and Symbolic Interaction Theory from Herbert Blumer. Qualitative research methods through data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation as well as using inductive data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the Protestant Batak Christian Huria Church (HKBP) played a major role in maintaining the cultural identity of the Toba Batak diaspora in Denpasar. This study aims to how does it survive in the New Normal era in Mojokerto City. This study uses the Functionalism theory by Bronislaw Malinowski and the Hierarchy of Human Needs theory by Abraham Maslow that uses a qualitative research method with an ethnographic research model through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of the study, it was found that the background of the existence of angkringan started from the economism respons of the Wong Kulonan overseas group who lived in Mojokerto City, the angkringan business in Mojokerto City also were accustomed to opening side jobs. This study tries to examine the health culture of scavengers in their daily lives. The main problem in this research is focused on the health behavior of scavengers at the SARBAGITA Regional TPA. This study uses the theory of health behavior popularized by Dunn. The method used is a qualitative research method using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature study. The analysis used in this research is interpretive descriptive. Where this study shows that the health culture of the scavengers at the SARBAGITA Regional TPA is part of their health behavior, which results in preventive and promotive behavior of scavengers in maintaining and improving their health. The delay in the performance of this sacred dance ultimately has implications for the religious values ??of the adherents. This paper aims to identify the religious implications of the postponement of the Sanghyang Jaran dance performance. Kontjaraningrat and Robertson Smith's religious theory was used to interpret the data obtained. The results of the study indicate that there are at least three forms of religiosity implications experienced by the community during the postponement. First, the dancers are often visited by the spirit of Sanghyang Jaran in an unusual or angry condition. In addition, the dancer's family also experienced unusual illness and frequent household problems. Second, farmers experience anxiety due to declining yields and thefts that have occurred several times. In Islamic boarding schools, students are often identified with scabies disease. This study aims to determine the knowledge system of students and caregivers about scabies disease such as views, causes, disease phases, and also the impact and health behavior. This study uses medical systems theory by Foster and Anderson and also uses qualitative research methods through data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation as well as using inductive data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the biological impact of this disease is itching and pain experienced by the body and its social impacts such as being bullied by students who have not been infected and can also interfere with teaching and learning activities. There is an effective alternative treatment used by students and caregivers, namely the method of bathing on the beach and the compress method. The era of globalization that encourages people to renovate traditional houses more modern. This research studies how long this traditional house can be maintained the existence. This study was intended 1) To give the people a knowledge of the traditional house of the Pengotan Villages as one of the cultural heritage that has historical, artistic, traditional, and scientific values, 2) To find out the functions and factors that maintain the existence of the traditional house of Pengotan Village. This study uses qualitative research methods with the main way of collecting data is by observation and interviews. The theory used in this study is the structural functional theory of Robert K Merton. As a commitment to maintaining harmony and an attitude of religious tolerance, the efforts made by the Great Mosque of Ibn Battuta include maintaining personal and institutional relationships with other religious parties. This is very important because religious leaders become role models in attitude. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods using Functionalism Theory, Multiculturalism Theory, and Organizational Theory. Migrants have various reasons for deciding to migrate and have strategies to survive in a new place. This study examines the factors of the residents of Jungutbatu Village in choosing the decision to migrate and what adaptation strategies are carried out by the nomads. The main problems in this study are related to (1) Factors deciding to migrate (2) Adaptation strategies carried out by immigrants. The theory used is adaptation theory. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive-qualitative type of research. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and literature studies. The results of the study revealed that the factors in deciding to migrate consisted of push factors and pull factors.
