This research also describes the development of a character education management model in schools based on local cultural wisdom (Samin Tribe). This research is a research and development (RnD) with a qualitative descriptive method with an ethnographic approach which is limited to the product manufacturing stage. Data were collected using document study techniques, observation, and in-depth interviews. The Miles and Huberman model was used to analyze the data. The results of the study: 1) The management of character education that has been implemented in schools shows that the development of character education has been carried out in accordance with character education according to the Ministry of National Education and government regulations, but has not been maximized. Many government efforts improve the quality of education, among others, with regional autonomy or decentralization, which produces school-based management in the world of education. School-Based Management enables schools to be more independent through the granting of authority (autonomy), greater flexibility for schools in managing resources, and encouraging the participation of school members and the community to improve the quality of education. This research aims to determine how to implement school-based management to improve the quality of education in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through interviews and observation. The subjects in this study were principals, teachers, school committees, community leaders, and stakeholders. This data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and data validation (concluding). The results of the research findings indicate that the implementation of school-based management in improving the quality of education in elementary schools has been going well; the activeness of the school committee evidence this by providing suggestions/considerations, supporters, controllers, and mediators, the direct participation of parents in the planning and implementation of the program. Dharma","doi":"10.23917/jmp.v17i2.17569","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.23917/jmp.v17i2.17569","url":null,"abstract":"This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of digital literacy skills on the performance of Vocational High School teachers.  The population in this study were all teachers who were civil servants at the State Vocational High School in Gowa Regency, totaling 238 teachers. The proportional random sampling technique was carried out in obtaining a research sample of 70 teachers who had previously used the slovin formula in determining the minimum number of research samples. questionnaire is an instrument in this research which in its development process is tested for content validity using the Gregory formula, construct validity using a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) technique with a maximum likelihood approach,  as well as testing the reliability of the instrument using the Cronbach alpha formula which produces a reliability coefficient value of 0.98 for the teacher's digital literacy skill instrument and a reliability coefficient value of 0.95 for the teacher's performance instrument. Simple linear regression technique was used to analyze the data obtained. These problems have an impact on the quality of graduates and the achievement of educational goals in schools. Therefore, students in educational units need to be managed properly through the concept of student management. The purpose of writing this article is to describe and analyze the management of students in the education unit. The writing of this article uses the library research method. Student management are activities carried out by schools and related to students. Activities in student management include; Planning for students (needs analysis, recruitment, selection, orientation, placement, recording and reporting of students), student development, student evaluation and student transfer. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The aim of this research is to describe the leadership of elementary schools in Indonesia and China. Data and data sources are taken from interviews and questionnaires. Sources of literature review data in the form of journals, books, and articles are more effective. Qualitative research methods to enrich information data in depth about the problem to be solved. Data collection techniques with questionnaires, interviews, and literature review. The research data analysis technique is an interactive model of Miles and Huberman which begins with collecting raw data, displaying data, reducing data, verifying data, and concluding data. The results showed that the principal’s leadership influenced the improvement of the education quality of school institutions. Primary school leadership in Indonesia and China share a common commitment to realizing the vision and mission for the advancement of school quality, communicating with teachers about the vision and mission to be achieved, empowering the work climate for teachers professional performance. The difference between principal’s leadership in Indonesia and China lies in the dedication of working time in China is longer than the working time of principals in Indonesia. This Shift learning system is done by dividing class levels. This research is R and D research, that focus on application of implementation, the application of the results of previous studies which is the development of the ideal distance learning model in East Sumba by using Addie model. The implementation of the Shift Research Results Guidelines was carried out in Kambera Public Middle School with quesioners, interview and FGD as data collection technique. The purpose of this study is to find out how teachers lead students in learning activities in the digital era and find out the impact of the digital era on learning and teachers. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with observation and interview data collection techniques. The results of this study are the development of the digital era, making students and teachers learn not limited by space and time. Teachers need to prepare learning plans related to digital materials and media that will be used. The use of digital media such as google form, google classroom, powerpoint, various learning applications, blogger, quizizz, google meet video conference, and zoom meeting have been used by teachers. Digital era has a positive and negative impact on the implementation of learning and for teachers. The positive impacts are (1) digital media makes it easier for students to access any learning materials; (2) students enjoy digital learning media more; (3) teachers participate in various trainings to improve skills; and (4) the teacher will continue to learn new things. The negative impacts caused are (1) learning materials become wider so that essential materials are not obtained; (2) less focused learning; (3) teachers are not always able to control students one by one on the use of gadgets; and (4) the spirit and abilities of senior teachers still need to be improved. Therefore, qualified lecturers are needed, namely lecturers who can carry out responsibilities in the teaching and learning process. The quality of teachers or lecturers can be reflected in their level of professionalism, namely expertise in carrying out work carried out effectively and efficiently. This study aims to analyze the professionalism of lecturers in providing learning materials to students on student assessments based on the dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The method and approach in this research is descriptive analytic by using primary data through questionnaires. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that exogenous variables in professionalism along with their indicators have proven to be strong in shaping the professionalism of lecturers so as to increase student satisfaction. This study uses limited variables and indicators. Pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah, atau dengan istilah GLS di SMA PGRI Ge’tengan tersebut belum terlaksana secara optimal karena masih memiliki beberapa faktor penghambat yang belum teratasi yaitu belum tersedianya ruang perpustakaan  beserta fasilitas di dalamnya, juga waktu yang digunakan oleh siswa belum optimal sehingga belum memiliki dampak yang positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut terbukti dari kurangnya aktivitas membaca buku bacaan oleh siswa selama berada di lingkungan sekolah. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, maka dirumuskan masalah dalam analisis ini adalah “Bagaimana Gerakan Literasi Sekolah siswa SMA PGRI Ge’tengan pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023?” Artikel  ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gerakan literasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Sekolah perlu membudayakan gerakan literasi untuk menumbuhkembangkan minat baca siswa dan guru perlu memasukkan strategi literasi dalam pembelajarannya, serta mengupayakan sarana dan prasarana serta fasilitas perpustakaan.
