The main idea in this research is that theaccepting and refusing lab tests are not sufficient as quality indices and that the staticallyanalysis including control charts and capability calculations give biter image to theperformance levels of production process in batching plants . In this study, the productionconditions for a batching plant are investigated and the supervision is taken as the effectingfactor on the quality. In current research, three groups of polystyrene blend-based nanocompositessamples were fabricated by melting technique using a twin-screw extruder. These samplesconsist of polymer blend (polystyrene (PS): 1% copolymer (polystyrene (PS)-co- maleicanhydride (MA)): 3%ABS) as a matrix material, was strengthen by three different type ofpowders in nanometer size (silica (SiO2), cement kiln dust (CKD) and Fly ash (FA))individually, with selected weight ratio (0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 & 0.8 wt. %) for each of them.Experimental investigation was carried out for tensile properties and fatigue strength besidesFTIR test and morphology analyzing of fracture surfaces by SEM. The results showed thattensile strength values and modulus of elasticity increased as the nanoparticle content incomposite increased, but according to specific percentages of nanoparticle content in thecomposites samples, for three groups of the prepared nanocomposites samples. Moreover,the fatigue test revealed the super-improvement in the fatigue properties of the selectedhybrid nanocomposites samples, as compared with neat polystyrene and polymer blend (PS:1% (PS-co-MA): 3% ABS) and fatigue limit was apparent for all types of hybridnanocomposites materials produced in this work. The criticaldeflection of the column can be determined by measuring a length multiplied by 0.01 andthis is the critical load of the columns. For the purpose of measuring the critical deviation ofthe column, a digital dial gauge has been applied and it set at 0.7 distance from the length ofthe column from the fixed condition. The experimental results were compared with thePerry - Robertson formula, Euler's theory for long columns and with the values calculatedfrom the ANSYS 17 program. It has been observed that the Euler formula showed goodcompatibility with the practical results with safety factor 1.5. The ANSYS results showedwell agreement taking a 1.5 factor of safety. However due to the discrete contacts between the work piece and punches the dimple defects occurred. In this paper, B-spline technique was used to represent the profile of the final product shape by adjusting the punch height of reconfigurable die. The influence of 6wt% Al2O3content on microstructure, electrical properties and wearresistance were investigated . The microstructure of composite revealed thathomogeneity of Al2O3 particles in the matrix and also the reinforcement ofgrains compared to matrix grains. The homogeneity and reinforcement can beattributed to enhance the electrical and wear properties and this perhaps coulddue to efficiency of stirring process during the casting. The 6wt% Al2O3content shifted the conductivity and permittivity from reducing in matrix toincreasing in the composite when the frequency increased. For this purpose three solutions have been used (Hank's solution, 0.9NaCl andartificial saliva). The corrosion properties of Ti-6Al-4V implant alloy were examined at37ºC by using electrochemical techniques, such as the potentiodynamic method and opencircuit potential (OCP). The electrochemical corrosion characteristics of Ti-6Al-4V implantalloys in three biological solutions were measured in terms of the corrosion potential (Ecorr)and the corrosion current density (icorr ).Wear behavior was investigated by using pin-ondisctribometers at human temperature under different loads (10,15,20)N. The wear testconsisted of measuring the weight loss of samples. The metal ion release of base andalloying element by immersed specimens into various solutions for 7 days (168 hours) at37ºC. The result found that the Ti6Al4V implant alloy in three biological solutions exhibiteda characteristic of a good behavior. The superior corrosion resistance these alloy whichcurrent density measured in (nA/cm2). The weight loss of samples by wear test increase withincrease load and time. After applied heat treatment, about 40% enhancement in the wearbehavior of alloy. Modified time dependent Reynolds equation include the effect of oil film temperature was perturbed in order to calculate the eight dynamic coefficients (four stiffness, and four damping) required to evaluate the dynamic characteristics of the journal bearing, the oil film temperature was obtained by solving numerically the energy and heat conduction equations simultaneously with the Reynolds equation using appropriate boundary conditions. Suitable viscosity temperature model has been used to consider the effect of oil film temperature. The bearing lubricated with oil containing Titanium dioxide (TiO2 ) nanoparticles dispersed in to the base oil with various particle concentration. The effect of adding TiO2 Nano-particles with various particle concentrations (0.1%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% and 2%) in order to enhance its viscosity has been discussed. A validation to the mathematical model and the computer program written in Fortran90 prepared to solving the governing equation has been carried out by comparing the result for the dynamic coefficients (stiffness and damping) obtained in the present work with that obtained by Sheeja and Prabhu . The results seen to be in a good agreement with percentage of error less than 2%. The aim of this work is to present the effect of many parameters (blank Holdertypes, rubber thickness and forming speed) on the reduction of thickness for brass with 0.71 mmthickness. This research is concentrate on the development of predictive models to estimate theminimum deviation in thickness using analysis of variance (ANOVA), minimum thicknessdeviation has been modeled. In the development of this predictive model, blank holder, rubberthickness and forming speed have been considered as model parameters. Arithmetic theminimum thickness deviation used as response parameter to assess the thickness reduction ofMultipoint forming parts. The data required has been generated, compared and evaluated to theproposed models that obtained from experiments. Taguchi algorithm is used to predict theeffect of forming parameters on thickness reduction in forming process of Brass (65-35) basedon orthogonal array of L9.
