The research examines the theoretical basis to determine the theoretical framework and empirical data about the impact of project governance. Then, conclusions are reached, and new research areas are suggested. The findings of the research indicate that no governance considerations have been made during the pre-planning stages of urban projects, and empirical evidence does not always go with the theoretical background. Further research is therefore required to elucidate this relationship. Thus, the article updates the state of the art on governance performance for empirical study by generalizing it across other projects to derive more conclusions that are accurate and adapt to contemporary circumstances.","PeriodicalId":31810,"journal":{"name":"Economics and Business","volume":"36 1","pages":"34 - 54"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44223499","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims at analysing the tax system in Kosovo in the theoretical and analytical terms. The data used are secondary taken from state budget and include tax revenues as well as budget expenditures between 2006 and 2018. Observance of tax laws is an essential civic responsibility. In a modern country, which Kosovo aims to be, citizens are required to pay taxes and other obligations which fund government programs, the provision of public services and high standards of education, welfare, health, social support, protection, law enforcement and general infrastructure. All of these can be secured and made possible only in the proper collection of taxes. The study concludes that tax policy plays a very important role in the collection of taxes and duties as well as in the fair distribution of the budget.","PeriodicalId":31810,"journal":{"name":"Economics and Business","volume":"36 1","pages":"55 - 65"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49102728","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The model includes four independent variables: money supply (MS), imports (IMP), Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and exchange rate (EXCH). A Johansen-Juselius co-integration test and a Vector Error Correction Model were used to determine the existence of long-term and short-term links between the variables. The results demonstrated the existence of co-integrating links between the variables. Aside from the effects of GDP, all independent factors had a positive effect on the inflation rate. Depending on the results, the money supply is the primary long-term predictor of the inflation rate in Egypt.","PeriodicalId":31810,"journal":{"name":"Economics and Business","volume":"36 1","pages":"134 - 148"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48809804","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this view, more studies emphasized the necessity to increase healthcare resilience. However, the systematization of the literary sources showed no bibliometric studies devoted to a comprehensive investigation of nurse resilience management. The main aim of this study is to analyse the status of the global research landscape on nurse resilience management and detect the forthcoming trends in this research field. The research questions are as follows: 1) What is the current status of research on nurse resilience management? 2) What are the future research directions for developing nurse resilience management? The research object is the scientific documents published in high-quality scientific journals indexed in the Web of Science database. The total sample of publications is 245 documents. The study period covers 2005–2022 (up to 7 September 2022). The study involved bibliometric and knowledge visualization methods to achieve the research goal. The research was conducted in the following logical sequence: 1) collecting and pre-processing data; 2) analysing and visualizing data (general statistics, collaboration networks, and research trends); 3) interpreting results and discussing future research directions. The findings of bibliometric analysis allowed analysing the dynamic of publication activity, detecting the most influential articles, sources, and researchers, as well as setting up a typology of the themes of the analysed scope of literature.","PeriodicalId":31810,"journal":{"name":"Economics and Business","volume":"36 1","pages":"179 - 198"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46137332","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The emergence of a private higher education sector in Algeria has been slow in comparison to European countries, the United States, Japan and our culturally/historically-similar neighbouring countries (Tunisia and Morocco). This article reveals the results of research conducted on the context, governance and development of private higher education in Algeria. To achieve the objectives of our research, the study was conducted on five recently-accredited private higher education institutions through field observation, documentary analysis and interviews with executives, teachers and students at these institutions. The main results of the qualitative research suggest that private higher education continues to evolve through a transitional phase characterised by a gradual integration into the socio-economic framework of the country. Through these results, we contribute firstly on a theoretical and academic level by conducting the first research on the private sector of higher education in Algeria; secondly, on a practical level, by providing a clear and comprehensive view of the situation of the emerging private sector in Algeria.","PeriodicalId":31810,"journal":{"name":"Economics and Business","volume":"36 1","pages":"85 - 104"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42362588","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research is based on the results of a survey carried out with urban planning graduates, dealing with the acquired competencies during the university training, and on the documentary analysis of the Algerian framework of competencies of the urban planner with regard to its counterparts – the Operational Register of Trades/Professions and the Professional Office of Qualification of Urban Planners in France. The adopted approach follows these stages: the inventory of 422 trade sheets; their breakdown into indicators; the analysis of the requirements for job access; the comparison of the Algerian urban planner sheet with the French one; and the crossing of their competencies. The assessment demonstrates the inadequacy of the Algerian urban planner framework with its French counterpart; the disrespect of Bloom’s taxonomy and the rules of writing competencies; and the mismatch between the training offer and the employment offers. The results allow for the development of employment opportunities and improvement of the relevance of the framework competencies for urban planners in Algeria in view of a better employability of this trade and the concordance between training and employment.","PeriodicalId":31810,"journal":{"name":"Economics and Business","volume":"36 1","pages":"66 - 84"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43036652","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The job market is no exception. This study aims to find out what factors affect job opportunities for recent graduates during a pandemic. It is a quantitative study in which 200 recent graduates were randomly chosen. Factor analysis, both exploratory and confirmatory, was used. The study tests the hypothesis and confirms the contributing factors to the unemployment problem by conducting a path analysis using structural equation modelling (SEM). It is hard for recent graduates to get jobs because of economic and personal reasons during this pandemic. On the other hand, the study does not think that social issues play a significant role. The study will aid similar groups in comprehending the phenomena and devising strategies to overcome their causes. A future study could compare the underlying issues in various countries. This paper, among the very few studies, will assist the stakeholders in comprehending the job market in a developing country during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, particularly from the perspective of a recent graduate.","PeriodicalId":31810,"journal":{"name":"Economics and Business","volume":"36 1","pages":"105 - 119"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49478246","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research used dynamic and constant conditional correlation generalized auto-regressive conditional Heteroskedasticsticity models. The result showed that the volatility of long-term world bond interest rate and USA stock market return affected the Ghana sovereign bond return positively and negatively, respectively. Similarly, the volatility of emerging market bond return and long-term world interest rate affected the South African sovereign bond return positively and negatively, respectively. Thus, policy intervention is needed to contain the negative impact of stock market and long-term world interest rates.","PeriodicalId":31810,"journal":{"name":"Economics and Business","volume":"36 1","pages":"149 - 163"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69199118","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since the budget deficits must be continuous, it might be better if they were financed by seigniorage rather than government debt. Since the budget deficit due to the issuance of government bonds puts pressure on fiscal expenditures in the amount of interest payments, a budget deficit of the same size due to seigniorage is a more effective use of the budget. It will also be shown that to achieve full employment from a recession with involuntary unemployment the extra budget deficit is necessary.","PeriodicalId":31810,"journal":{"name":"Economics and Business","volume":"36 1","pages":"1 - 16"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43822034","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Cyber-park of Sidi Abdellah is the first Algerian experience of creating a technology park. The project is very ambitious; it reflects the Algerian political will to build an information society and accelerate the transition of Algeria to a knowledge economy. However, through our reading of the statistics provided, we can say that the number of project holders affiliated to the incubator of Sidi Abdullah, especially the number of projects accepted, is still far from the objectives presented by the incubator. On the other hand, we have found that the Cyber-park incubator focuses much more on the training of entrepreneurs, while the financial side is totally absent.","PeriodicalId":31810,"journal":{"name":"Economics and Business","volume":"36 1","pages":"17 - 33"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46828831","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
