This increases the variety, number and consumption of gluten-free products. However, this study was the first in our country to determine whether the packaged gluten-free products contain mycotoxins. Aflatoxin (AF), ochratoxin (OTA), zearalenone (ZON), and deoxynivalenol (DON) was analysed in 95 imported and domestic gluten-free packaged foods of different types and brands. Analyses were made with HPLC with fluorescent detector, and HPLC with diode array detector. In addition, validation studies were completed with the addition of blank samples. OTA analysis revealed toxins in buckwheat flour, pasta, cracker/biscuit, corn flour, but these values were found to be appropriate according to Turkish Food Codex (TFC). Primary headache disorder is a socioeconomic burden, whose pharmaceutical and invasive treatment methods may have troublesome side effects. There are various transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation neuromodulation systems that are used for health-related disorders. There are many factors that may affect these systems’ efficiency including stimulus current levels. A device for primary headaches showed mixed results. This may be related to the higher stimulus current levels that are applied through the electrodes. A feasible solution to reduce the required current levels is considering the geometrical features of the target nerve bending and nerve termination trajectories. In this study, the impact of the geometrical features of the nerve, such as nerve bending and nerve termination, on the stimulus current thresholds were analyzed based on FEM hybrid models. Twenty nerve models were generated considering statistical variations to assess the effect of the nerve geometrical features on the target neuromodulatory system. Finally, the safety parameters were calculated based on the target neuromodulator settings. The results showed that the geometric features of the target nerve have a significant effect on the required stimulus current thresholds. Obtained data reveal that Li adsorbtion on P-h-BN is weak, while Ti adsorbtion on P-h-BN is strong. When Ti and Li atoms interact with P-h-BN surface, Ti and Li generate 4 µB/cell and 1 µB/cell magnetic moments, respectively. The extraction of an electron from the systems leads to a considerable rise in the adsorption energy, notably in the case of Li-P-h-BN. There is a notable decrease in the band gap of Ti-P-h-BN in both the charged states, especially in the electron-added state. Removing an electron from the Li-P-h-BN system results in a non-magnetic state and a significant increase of the band gap to 4.07 eV. Ti-BV-h-BN system shows significantly stronger adsorption energy due to d-orbitals of Ti atom. When an electron is added to the systems, the interaction energy between Ti and BV-h-BN decreases, while the interaction energy between Li and BV-h-BN increases. Colemanite waste (CW) and CRT were replaced with cement and aggregate and used as mineral additives, and their effect on the physical and mechanical properties of mortar was investigated. In addition to control sample which was not contain CW or CRT, 7 more samples were used and, in these samples, cement was used at a rate of 2.5% along with CW, the aggregate was replaced with CRT at the rates of 10%, 20% and 30%, and with the combination of CW and CRT. The consistency, unit weight, water absorption, compression strength, flexural strength and abrasion resistance properties of the mortars were compared. As a result of this study, it has been observed that the use of waste materials can make positive contributions to some of the physical and mechanical properties of the mortar. Flour factories are workplaces where physical risk factors such as noise are experienced due to their processes. Necessary measures should be taken to reduce or eliminate negative consequences for human health. Noise exposure of workers in two flour mills to be measured in pneumatic, sieve, purifier and roller units selected for this purpose. These measurement studies carried out according to the TS EN ISO 9612 standard; task-based metrics. As a result of these measurements, the daily noise exposure value in all units where measurements were made was above the exposure limit value in the legal legislation. That is why it attracts engineers and researchers to handle this issue thereby applying various solutions. In this work, we propose deep learning-based fault detection mechanism in automobile engines from different sound resources. In the dataset collection phase, various vehicle breakdown sounds are gathered from social media environments by constructing our own customized crawler. Moreover, noise addition is applied to increase the amount of data. Subsequently, raw audio files are processed at the feature exraction step employing mel-frequency cepstral coefficients. To detect the vehicle breakdown sounds, 1-D and 2-D convolutional neural networks, long short-term memory networks, artificial neural networks, and support vector machine are modeled. The call centers are mainly used by the customers to collect information about their products or services. However, it is quite costly to provide 24-hours service. Therefore, companies aim to develop a chatbot to reduce the need for the call center. In this paper, we propose a ensemble chatbot design based on paraphrase detection. Our algorithm and does not require a large number of instances or labels and it can work on small data sets, for example an existing FAQ. Chatbots perform best when they are domain specific. We used publicly available data from the websites of major telecommunication companies. We propose an ensemble chatbot design based on paraphrase detection. The ensemble model improves the success by 10 % compared to the single best model. Developing countries want to meet this demand with the least cost in order to meet this demand. In this study, it is aimed to manage the traffic network with the best times by optimizing the traffic signal durations in order to minimize the travel time for a road network chosen as a benchmark. For the optimization process, it is aimed to run a population-based heuristic algorithm with different numbers of individuals and to obtain the best travel time. With the help of an open source code traffic simulation program, which was run by modeling the benchmark road network, the obtained traffic data was also visually analyzed and compared. The effects of the heuristic algorithms applied with different numbers of individuals on the travel times according to the starting-destination points were examined before and after the optimization. As a result of the study, it has been observed that travel times and traffic signal times can be reduced with heuristic algorithms. Ethylene oxide sterilization is one of the most common and effective methods used, especially for sterilization of polyethylene based polymeric implants. However, variable sterilization conditions can cause a change in the chemical structure of the polymeric material, which affects its mechanical properties and lifetime. The aim of this study is to investigate whether the chemical structure of UHMWPE tibial inserts sterilized with ethylene oxide undergoing certain conditions remains the same. Chemical characterization studies were performed with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffractometer, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis techniques recommended for polymeric materials in ISO 10993-8:2020 standard. Characterization results revealed that there was no significant change in molecular structure, crystallinity, elemental composition of UHMWPE materials after ethylene oxide sterilization.
