Penelitian ini lakukan di Universitas X Nusa Tenggara Barat pada prodi teknik informatika. Soal yang diberikan berjumlah 10 butir item yang terdiri: 3 butir mencari modus, 3 butir mencarai median, 3 butir menghitung rata-rata (mean) dan 1 butir menghitung uji regresi linear sederhana. Mahasiswa sebagai subyek dalam penelitian dapat menyelesaikan soal dengan cara hitung manual dulu kemudian dilanjutkan dengan membandingkan hasil hitungan bantuan aplikasi SPSS, subyek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 28 orang. Adapun tujuanya untuk mengetahui tingkat kesulitan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal statistik. hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada Universitas X Nusa Tenggara Barat prodi teknik informasi bahwa tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal yang terdiri dari mencari modus dengan rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 65,82. Pada mencai median rata-rata 63,82. Sedangkan menghitung mean sebesar 66,75 dan menghitung uji regresi linear sederhana terdapat 58,18. Padang is a city with earthquake potential due to the Semangko Fault, and one of the potential consequences is the occurrence of tsunamis. To minimize these impacts in Padang, tsunami evacuation buildings, known as shelters, have been established. Therefore, it is crucial for the community to be aware of the nearest routes to these evacuation shelters in Padang. One method employed is using Network Analyst. Network Analyst is a tool within the ArcGIS software, which is a Geographic Information System (GIS) developed by ESRI to manage, analyze, and visualize geographical data. By utilizing Network Analyst, the closest routes to the researched areas are generated. Network Analyst employs the Dijkstra's algorithm to solve routing problems and can be generated based on two criteria: distance and time. The result of the nearest route to the tsunami evacuation shelter in Batang Arau Subdistrict, South Padang District, is from SDN 29 Pebayan Penggalangan to Nurul Iman Mosque Padang, spanning a distance of 1585 meters. The analysis of the nearest route using Network Analyst is then compared with manually calculated results using the Dijkstra's algorithm. The difference between manual calculations and Network Analyst results ranges from 1 to 4 meters, approaching reality. This information can serve as a reference for determining the nearest routes to evacuation shelters in the event of a tsunami in Padang.","PeriodicalId":31683,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika","volume":"40 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139174171","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of basic mathematics education involves cognitive and social activities so that in communicative situations, students can enhance their learning interactions with others to obtain mathematical ideas. They should be capable of conveying their mathematical thoughts to others, developing mathematical concepts and strategies, and reflecting on their understanding of mathematics. Thinking styles are cognitive patterns that differentiate how students receive and process information and then use that information to solve problems, particularly in mathematical problem-solving. The objectives of this research are (1) to identify the types of research used in mathematical communication skills concerning thinking styles published in the last 5 years, (2) to identify research trends on mathematical communication skills and thinking styles in the last 5 years, and (3) to reveal the influence of students' thinking styles on mathematical communication skills, including the interpretation of mathematical problems, the selection of solution strategies, and mathematical problems solving abilities. The research method employed in this study is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Data collection involves reviewing articles related to students' mathematical communication skills concerning thinking styles published between 2018 and 2023. The findings indicate that (1) qualitative research is the most commonly used type of research, (2) research is predominantly conducted at the junior high school level, and (3) thinking styles significantly influence students' mathematical communication skills.","PeriodicalId":31683,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika","volume":"58 3‐4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139008339","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This has led to an increased prevalence of kidney stone disease in recent decades. In this study, a fuzzy inference system will be developed using the Mamdani method for the classification of the large potential occurrence of kidney stones based on urine conditions. The input variables used are urine pH, urea content in urine, and calcium content in urine, while the output variable used is the magnitude of the potential occurrence of kidney stones. The variables included in the fuzzy set are formed by combinations of each variable with its respective linguistic terms. These fuzzy sets are then processed with the help of Matlab software to produce a classification result indicating small or large potential. The classification results from the developed fuzzy inference system provide accurate classifications for users with an accuracy level of 94%. Thus, in general, this fuzzy system can be used to assist in classifying the large potential occurrence of kidney stones, thereby minimizing the number of individuals suffering from this disease as much as possible.","PeriodicalId":31683,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika","volume":"15 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139259116","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
