Recently, such nanodielectric fluids have been proposed to be used as transformer liquid insulation as the addition of particles seeks to improve the dielectric and thermal properties of the base liquids. Ferrofluids typically respond to electric and magnetic fields and can be easy manipulated by such external fields. By mean of neutron reflectometry (NR), we show impact of the electric field intensity on magnetic nanoparticle aggregates in a dilute (1.8 vol %.) classical ferrofluid.","PeriodicalId":31657,"journal":{"name":"Acta Electrotechnica et Informatica","volume":"21 1","pages":"23 - 29"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44058445","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Reduction of computational complexity of 2D discrete convolution can be achieved by using a separable convolution. In this article, we focus on the application of a canny edge detector for different types of images. The main goal was to speed up the process of applying the kernel matrix to a given image using a separable convolution. By applying a separable convolution, we compared the duration of the Gaussian filter application, edges detection and the Hysteresis threshold level. Applying a separable convolution should speed up the duration of the 2D Gaussian filter as well as the edge detection. The main variable that interested us was time, but an important factor in the application of the filter and edge detection is the number of operating cycles. The use of a separable convolution should significantly reduce the number of computational cycles and reduces the duration of filter application and detection.","PeriodicalId":31657,"journal":{"name":"Acta Electrotechnica et Informatica","volume":"21 1","pages":"36 - 43"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41327754","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The electrical resistivity was determined after 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 reflow cycles as a replacement for the basic accelerated aging test. In this article, various surface finishes are compared by measuring electrical resistivity of solder joints between two soldering pads. The influence of standard surface finishes (ENIG, Lead HASL, Lead-free HASL, Cu, ImSn) with the new developed surface finish based on SnAg7 is also compared. Measurements show that the electrical resistivity is dependent on surface finish type and the thickness of the solder joint. The results prove that the new developed surface finish based on SnAg7 is stable against multiple reflows and comparable to the surface finish based on Au. The new developed surface finish based on SnAg7 can be recommended as a replacement for other conventional surface finishes.","PeriodicalId":31657,"journal":{"name":"Acta Electrotechnica et Informatica","volume":"21 1","pages":"3 - 8"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44374513","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main idea is based on static analysis of source codes, assembling the most significant data about their author. Such a profile can point out some abilities and habits of the programmer. The process of static analysis applies methods and techniques of size metrics, complexity metrics, and clone detection. We also present an experiment focused on novice programmers. The results show that knowledge profiles provide an easy way of novice programmers’ progress tracking. The main contribution is believed to be in the area of program comprehension.","PeriodicalId":31657,"journal":{"name":"Acta Electrotechnica et Informatica","volume":"21 1","pages":"30 - 35"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43831714","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since we want to ensure almost 100% functionality, the design of a secondary RF line is very important. In our case, we have chosen two types of antennas. First, it was a helical antenna that achieves a high level of efficiency and much smaller dimensions compared to horn antennas. The second type was just a horn antenna. Its advantages are high efficiency, high gain, and narrow width of radiation angle. However, large disadvantages are dimensions and the price of these antennas. However, in both cases, we can say that these antennas are suitable for deployment to our hybrid FSO/RF system.","PeriodicalId":31657,"journal":{"name":"Acta Electrotechnica et Informatica","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41878008","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
