The academic library in the Pancoran area have user-oriented reference services by creating services called Personal Assistant Library Service (PALS). This paper discusses the reference services at Pancoran University which aims to describe the implementation of PALS at Universitas Pancoran as an effort to improve the academic library. \u0000Method. The method uses case study with qualitative approach. Techniques of collecting data through interviews conducted on librarians who work in the library. \u0000Results and Discussions. The findings of the strategy undertaken in an effort to improve reference services at the Pancoran University library can be done in a personal way by forming PALS services. In the case of Pancoran University, these efforts are reflected in the collection support provided for new services, reassessing the competencies needed for services and seeing the challenges that exist in its implementation. \u0000Conclusion. The improvement of college library services through PALS is an alternative that can be used by other university libraries even though the application at Pancoran University has not been maximized. Performance evaluation is the process of evaluating the implementation of the tasks of organizational members, including libraries, in accordance with the performance standards using particular way including instruments. Instruments are needed to document the evaluation carried out by the organization. Therefore, libraries need to pay attention to developa performance evaluation instrument to plan their human resources. This research explains an overview of stages in developing performance evaluation instruments in an organization, particularly libraries. \u0000Research methods. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach by involving the existing performance evaluation dimensions. After that, the performance evaluation indicators were developed. \u0000Data analysis. The measurement of validity and reliability was valid when the correlation between items was >0.3 and when Cronbach alpha was > 0.6. The measurement of validity and reliability help to support the development of performance evaluation instruments. \u0000Results and Discussion. Of the 36 statements, only 27 items were valid and used in performance appraisal instruments. The items are arranged in a model of development of the performance evaluation instruments. \u0000Conclusion and recommendations. A good organization needs to pay attention to the right indicators in an assessment instrument. This study aims to determine the organizational culture in the National Library of Indonesia (NLI) based on several aspects including clan (human resource management), adhocracy (innovation organization), market (adaptation and strategic organization), and hierarchy (coordination and organizational structure). \u0000Research Methods. This study used a quantitative approach of Competing Values Framework (CVF) developed by Cameron & Quinn (2011) to obtain data scores and the average of each aspect of organizational culture. \u0000Data Analysis. Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) is an organizational culture assessment instrument by using statements/questions relating to the six subsystems, namely organizational culture dominant characters, leadership, human resource management, internal solidarity, strategic management and organizational success criteria. The data was analysed by using SPSS with Pearson Correlation formula. \u0000Results and Discussion. We found that organizational culture of the National Library is cultural hierarchy. \u0000Conclusion and Recommendations. Organization culture of the (NLI) shows the cultural hierarchy. The three main aspects to improve literacy movement are family, school, and society. Using social media could be useful to improve literacy as many reading materials can be accessed and freely available. However, the content should be selected to prevent from unexpected materials. \u0000Data Collection Method. Data obtained through observations of 100 participants in the development of community literacy movement. They were religious education community (pesantren) with professions such as, teachers, education staffs and students’ representatives from two levels of education within the reading village frameworks in Tanjungmekar village, Tanjungkerta, Sumedang. \u0000Analysis Data. Data were analyzed using descriptive percentage studies, and describing the results of observations. \u0000Result and Discussions. The community accesses reading material dominant using printed material, reading assignment and communication through social media have not done as expected. In general, the activities of fostering literacy in the religious education community require patterns that are in accordance with time, motivation, access, technological devices, various social media to foster literacy readiness. \u0000Conclusions. Citation is the main indicator in research performance evaluation using the quantitative approach. There have been many criticisms of citations since they were used half a century ago, but they have not yet succeeded in bringing new concepts and methods. This paper aims to criticize and propose a new approach to citation analysis. \u0000Data Collection Method. A contemporary critical theory methodology was adopted as a framework to collect and analyze the data. Scientific publications related to citation analysis was collected from several databases such as Google scholar, Microsoft academic search, dan Garuda Ristekdikti. \u0000Analysis Data. Publications data were critically reviewed and analyzed narratively by using open coding. \u0000Results and Discussions. The results mapped the lack of citation analysis form various aspects: (1) criticism of the positivist paradigm which did not succeed in achieving its objectives, (2) criticism of methods that produce invalid results, and (3) criticism of ethical issues of the researcher and bias in implementation. The proposed solution and recommendation is to change the citation analysis method from a simple measurement of bibliographic data to text and context analysis based on a computer science approach (machine learning techniques). \u0000Conclusion. This new method has the potential to be developed within the framework of quantitative in Science and Technology studies to overcome existing criticisms. The establishment of archival science study programs at the undergraduate (including archival applied) level leads to efforts to develop archival education and fulfillment of the needs of professional archivists. This paper discusses the importance of established and strong archival education by implementing more effective competency standards. \u0000Data Collection Method. The method used in this research was literature study with qualitative approach. \u0000Data Analysis. The data was analyzed by using a descriptive-analytic approach. \u0000Results and Discussion. The establishment of the archiavl study programs will have great impacts on the quality of the graduates. The establishment also affected the scientific development of archival science, with the fact that the number of archival science study programs is limited. The non-standard curriculum by each study program also needs to be further professionally discussed. \u0000Conclusion. Competency standards in professional archivist development must ensure the clear objectives and tailored competency to support the archival science. There has been rapid development in radiation research. The purpose of the study is to understand the development of publications, researchers, institutions, countries, level of productivity and widely cited journals, knowledge mapping, researcher collaborations, and Indonesian researcher publications. \u0000Data Collection Method. This paper used a bibliometric analysis with a quantitative approach, by using Scopus data from 2011 to 2019, mapped by VOSviewer. \u0000Data Analysis. The analysis was performed by tabulating data using Microsoft Excel to produce rankings in accordance to the research objectives. Mapping analysis of bibliographic data was performed to provide co-occurrence of index keywords, and co-authorship of authors. Descriptive analysis was conducted to explain the results. \u0000Results and Discussion. The number of publications and citations per year increases with ratio 1: 6. Japan as the highest institution and country cited, dominates productive researchers with Onda Y as one top researcher. The highest cited journal publishing radiation monitoring research is the Journal of Environmental Radioactivity. The highest referenced document is written by Halliburton from the USA. The most popular topics of discussion are reactor accidents, nuclear power plants and radiation therapy. There are not many publications by Indonesian researchers indexed on Scopus. \u0000Conclusions. Japan has the most developed, productive and popular publications. This paper discusses information seeking behavior of university fresh graduate. In fact, many university graduates still face serious difficulties in the job search process based on the increasingly high unemployment rate. \u0000Data Collection Method. Purposive sampling was used with 10 respondents. Interviews were used as a data collection technique. \u0000Data Analysis. Miles and Huberman data analysis was used in this study reduction, data presentation and conclusion.. \u0000Resultsand Discussions. Two barriers in finding information were from psychological factors and interpersonal abilities. New graduates with low psychological and interpersonal skills, such as lack of self-confidence, confusion, inferiority, anxiety, lack of communication show uneffective search results. The situation where information sources are easily accessible supports faster information retrieval and vice versa. Our five informants who lived in the city with easy access support the infomatation seeking process. \u0000Conclusion Factors affecting information seeking behaviour were psychological situations, demographic circumstances, interpersonal abilities, environment and characteristics of information sources. This research aimed to understand efforts should be taken so that the authenticity of electronic records can be maintained in the digital environment. Data Collection Method. This research used a systematic literature review published by scientific journals from January 2010 to April 2019 derived from electronic information sources subscribed by the University of Indonesia Library. The results of this review are reported using guidelines for Systematic Literature Review (SLR) which has three stages, namely planning, implementation, and reporting.Analysis Data. Descriptive quantitative was employed to analyze the data by using simple statistic application (Microsoft Office Excel 2007). Results and Discussion. The results indicated that there are 18 literatures (3%) of the total search results of 561 relevant literatures discussing electronic records and ways to maintain their authenticity in digital era. There were 12 articles providing sufficient information about this matter.Conclusion. The majority of the articles mentioned that to maintain the authenticity of electronic archives in digital era must be supported by policy makers such as the government. This paper investigate the research behaviour in Undergraduate Program of Library Science Faculty of Administrative Science Universitas Brawijaya.Data Collection Method. This research uses descriptive methods with quantitative approach through documentation and observation for data collection, a number of ninety-four undergraduate theses are explained in this study.Data Analysis. Data analysis used in this study is descriptive statistical analysis.Results and Discussion. This study has several result: 1) The characteristics of literature based on form type is book which most often used with 6.074 times (66,8%), after that, literature in print is most frequently cited literature with the 8.236 times (90,6%), then literature in Indonesian probably cited with the 8.116 times (88,25%), the amount of 6.617 times (73,3%) use literature from 0 to 10 years.2) Author that probably cited was Sugiyono with 542 times (6,91%). 3) half life of literature is 10 years.Conclusions.
