This study aims to analyze the influence of the individual characteristics of the extension agents, patterns of digital media use, institutional support, and characteristics of innovation on the competence of Anti-Narcotics extension agents. This research was conducted in October 2020 - January 2021 through a census of 170 (98%) functional officers of Anti-Narcotics extension agents throughout Indonesia who have worked for approximately two years. The research instruments were questions, statements (telephone and message), and interviews which were conducted using the digital application Google Form and WhatsApp. Data were processed using Partial Least Square. The results showed that the use of digital media by extension agents consisting of patterns of digital media use, characteristics of innovation, institutional support, and competence of Anti-Narcotics extension agents in the field of information and communication technology were in the Medium category. The competence of Anti-Narcotics extension agents in the use of digital media was in the medium category. However, there are still variations in the use and adoption of ICTs at the farmer levels as not every region can optimize the use of ICT in agricultural extension. This study aims to identify the diversity of access to ICT by farmers, and identify farmers' perceptions of the use of ICT. This study used a survey method with quantitative descriptive data analysis, distributed to 73 sample respondents. The questionnaire was compiled using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory lens, using two aspects in analyzing technology acceptance: perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. The results showed that the use of smartphones by farmers was high with access ownership above 60%. ICT is well accepted by respondents compared to conventional media. There is a significant relationship between the education level of farmers and perceived ease of use, with a correlation coefficient of .322. The research method uses quantitative and qualitative approaches. The data were analyzed descriptively and statistically The research location is in Limau District Tanggamus Regency and the number of respondents was 80 fishermen. The data used are primary and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the community applies a dual livelihood strategy and a collaborative livelihood strategy in Limau District consisting of On Farm strategy, On-Farm and Off-Farm, and On-Farm and Non-Farm. Cumulatively, the gender relations of fishermen's families in Limau District covering domestic, public and community activities have shown an equal division of labor between wives and husbands, namely 76.30 percent. Extension programs should aim at gender equality so as to increase their participation, access and control, as well as the benefits that women enjoy in developing coastal areas. Agricultural extension play a role in guiding farmers in managing their farms effectively and efficiently to improve farmer welfare. Nunuk Baru Village is one of the corn-producing areas that has received more attention in agricultural extension activities. This study aims to identify the role of agricultural extension for maize farmers and to determine the effect of the role of agricultural extension on the level of maize farming production. The research design used is a quantitative approach with a survey method with 80 corn farmers as respondents. The method of data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis using a sematic differential scale and regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the role of agricultural extension agent’s in Nunuk Baru Village, Maja District, Majalengka Regency is categorized as very good in carrying out their duties as a catalyst, communicator, consultant and organizer while as a motivator, educator and facilitator are categorized as good.
