Through the increase in life expectancy and, consequently, population aging worldwide, the Long Term Care Institutions for the Elderly (ILPI) stand out in caring for these elderly people, making it necessary to know what life is like for the elderly in this environment. Given the above, the study aimed to verify in the literature the perspective of institutionalized elderly about quality of life. Thus, the study is an integrative literature review with a qualitative approach, using Lilacs, Scielo and Medline databases as a means of research, taking advantage of the following Health Sciences Descriptors (DeCS): “Elderly”, “Quality of life” and “institutionalized”. The study sample consisted of 16 articles, which discussed the theme of the study, in which it was sought to verify the perception of institutionalized elderly about quality of life, it was decided to carry out two thematic categories: 01) Quality of Life for the Elderly Institutionalized, and 02) Perception of the Institutionalized Elderly. In view of the above, the study was able to show that the elderly who reside, live in a Long-Term Care Facility for the Elderly (ILPI), it is necessary to be active, dynamic, prepared to carry out their activities of daily living, in order to achieve their quality of life, harmonize health and promote healthy aging. Keywords: Elderly, Quality of Life, Institutionalized.","PeriodicalId":315563,"journal":{"name":"Amadeus International Multidisciplinary Journal","volume":"101 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128329516","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The immune factors that contribute to COVID-19 intravascular coagulopathy are: diffuse damage and alveolar inflammation; diffuse interstitial inflammation, extensive activation of pulmonary macrophages, dysregulation of innate pulmonary immune responses (eg, down regulation of angiotensin 2-converting enzyme receptor expression), adaptive immune responses to COVID-19, activation of innate immunity with advanced age and age-related coagulation cascade changes. This study aimed to evaluate the hygienic and sanitary conditions of the street market located in the southwest region of Bahia. Through this study, it was possible to identify that the main points that need improvement are regarding the hygiene habits of the handlers, how food storage works and the lack of water, which is one of the most critical points found during this evaluation. The notion of Sustainable Development was raised aiming economic growth based on the rational use of existing natural resources, for the purpose of preserving them for future generations. The concept of Equitable and Sustainable Development was created, which encompasses several aspects of society besides economic and environmental, with the main purpose of stimulate socially equitable development together with a sustainable environment. Environmental licensing consists of an administrative instrument used by the State to regulate potentially harmful activities to the environment. In this, it is sometimes necessary to consider constitutional principles, which requires verification of which should prevail, depending on the conflicting case. The present study defends the effectiveness of the use of the Principle of Proportionality in the act of weighing constitutionally protected interests, where the particularities of the concrete case must be analyzed in order to verify which institute should overlap, seeking the harmonization between free enterprise and the right to a balanced environment, these being the main principles involved in environmental licensing. Keywords: Environmental Law. In this sense, special attention must be paid to the regulatory instruments that grant some protection and special observance to such individuals, so that the vulnerability framework is not strengthened. Brazil has some of the most developed legislation on the subject, as well as a broad organizational network and civil society entities responsible for assisting refugees and applicants throughout its territory. This study discussed law 9474/94 on the protection of refugee children in Brazil. Caused by the contamination of protozoa of the genus Leishmania, the pathogenesis in question can manifest itself in the Tegumentary (mucosa and cutaneous) and in the visceral form, depending on the parasite and the host. The aim of this study was to collect the scientific knowledge produced about the Mucosa Tegumentary Leishmaniasis, presenting the epidemiological, clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic relations available in the researched literature. It was applied the Muños Protocol (2002) in published articles between 1981 and 2018 and indexed in the database of the Health Virtual Library (HVL) that was selected for this review study. The research strategy used was: “Tegumentary Leishmaniasis” and “Mucosa”, including, too, the following limits: articles in Portuguese, English and Spanish, available. The works present interfaces of Mucosa Tegumentary Leishmaniasis, stating epidemiological, clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic data of the pathology. It is evidenced the importance of the realization of studies about this theme to the development of new medical treatments.
