E-mail: wwalter8a@hotmail.com La investigación se realizó con los objetivos de evaluar la población final, de G. pallida, evaluar el rendimiento, resistencia, tolerancia y susceptibilidad de diez clones de S. tuberosum y seleccionar los clones según los criterios de Cook, se emplearon 10 variedades de papa cultivadas resistentes y tolerantes al G. pallida, obtenidas del Banco Nacional de Germoplasma del INIA-Ayacucho, los quistes de G pallida se obtuvieron del laboratorio de Nematología de la Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas de la UNSCH, cada unidad experimental tuvo 0.4 kg/maceta de un sustrato con 1 tubérculo de cada clon, la inoculación y siembra se hizo con 08 tubérculos/semilla de 15 g, sembrando un tubérculo por maceta, 4 sin inóculo (n0) y 4 con inóculo (n1). La población final de G. pallida fue baja en los clones 5 y 6; alta en los clones 8 y 10. Los clones inoculados (n1) presentaron 5.56 % menos rendimiento que los no inoculados (n0), el clon 6 muestra mayor diferencia en el rendimiento (18.25%), demostrando que es No tolerante al G. pallida, los demás clones son tolerantes. Todos los clones son susceptibles con tres rangos de “I”. Según los criterios de Cook, el clon 6 es no tolerante y susceptible.","PeriodicalId":31531,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Selva Andina Biosphere","volume":"14 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79832789","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

El estudio se realizó en el invernadero del Centro de Investigación y Producción de Animales Menores (CIPAM), Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias y NaturalesUniversidad Técnica de Oruro, con el propósito de evaluar en cosecha la altura y rendimiento de forraje verde hidropónico versus geopónico de cebada (Hordeum vulgare L.) variedad IBTA-80, en condiciones de ambiente controlado. La temperatura ambiente fluctuó de 20 a 26 °C, la humedad relativa entre 15.9 a 24.4%. La semilla registró una viabilidad de 85.8±2.2% y se utilizó con una densidad de 10 kg/m. El diseño experimental fue Bloques al Azar con dos tratamientos (hidropónico y geopónico). La producción en hidroponía se realizó con agua sin ninguna solución nutritiva, en el caso del geopónico se puso un sustrato de un centímetro de altura. En la cosecha (10 días) se evaluaron la altura de planta forraje en hidroponía con 23.8±0.31 cm y en geopónico 20.5±0.30 cm, el rendimiento también fue mejor en hidroponía (25.1±0.25 kg/m) en comparación al geopónico (24.3±0.35 kg/m), además existe correlación (r = 0.6196) entre la altura y el rendimiento (p < 0.01). La técnica de producción de forraje verde hidropónico se muestra en condiciones de clima adverso una alternativa técnica y económica para la alimentación de ganado.","PeriodicalId":31531,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Selva Andina Biosphere","volume":"186 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77027041","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The soils of theAndean region of Bolivia are characterized by low levels of OM (<1.5%). For this reason, the incorporation of EO into thesoil is important, which will favor the relationship between microorganism-plant. At the time of sowing, 430 kg/ha ofcamelid manure, humic extract and humita 15 was applied to the soil, 40 L/ha was used. Samples of rhizospheric soil werecollected from the quinoa plant in the months of October, January and April and were processed by serial method to evaluatethe total microbial population, quantify actinomycetes, bacteria and fungi and compare their behavior. The total populationshowed significant statistical differences (P<0.05) in the four treatments, where the month January is between 3.73 to3.54x106, April of 3.70 to 3.53x106 and October of 3.40 to 3.39x106 CFU/g of rhizospheric soil. The three microbial groupsshowed a greater population in treatment applied with camelid manure in the months of January and April, where the bacteriaare between 1.44 to 1.43x106, actinomycetes from 1.23 to 1.20x105 and fungi from 1.07 to 1.06x104 CFU/g rhizosphericsoil; the humic extract and humita 15 have intermediate populations and the soil without application with EO showed reducedpopulation in the three months. The different microbial groups showed similarity in the increase of populations in thethree months, but the bacteria was the one that was expressed with greater number, followed by actinomycetes and finallythe fungi. According to the type of EO and the phenological status of the quinoa, there is evidence that there are favorableeffects in the increase of the microbial population, it facilitates the habitat in the rhizosphere of the root and its variation isgiven according to the characteristics of the soil and its moisture content, pH and temperature.","PeriodicalId":31531,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Selva Andina Biosphere","volume":"19 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79589894","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The socio-economic attributes of theproducers of organic fertilizers of the Producers Association in the Puyo axis in the Province of Pastaza (Ecuador) wereevaluated. For this purpose, a survey was applied in 12 greenhouses belonging to the Association, in which five peoplewere randomly selected for each greenhouse, totalizing 60 partners surveyed in order to detect possible weaknessesand/or strengths present in the production process. The structured questions were referred to social (sex, age composi-tion, culture, predominant language and number of family members) or economic (time dedicated to the compost produc-tion, origin of the used supplies, number of sacks produced, sale frequency, equitability in the distribution of resourcesamong the partners, place of commercialization, part of the production destined to self-consumption and part of the profitdestined to the satisfaction of basic needs, income for sales concept) parameters. According to the results, the majority ofthe workers are of advanced age, who dedicate from 25 to 50% of the working day to this activity. On the other hand,there was a clear dependence on productive activity for external inputs, making it a dependent activity, which compro-mises its sustainability and profitability. Considering these findings, it is suggested to conduct a profitability study inorder to establish critical points that can be improved in conjunction with the advice of technical specialists in the area","PeriodicalId":31531,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Selva Andina Biosphere","volume":"2 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89314413","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
