Therefore it is necessary to develop research-based teaching materials. The study aimed to determine the feasibility of the modules developed for class XI learning on the structure and function of plant tissues based on the results of research on the characteristics of the epidermis and epidermal derivatives of cherry tomato leaves and rose tomato leaves. The research was carried out in two stages. The first was exploratory research carried out by taking samples in the form of cherry tomato leaf organs and rose tomato leaves. Preparation of cherry tomato leaf and rose tomato leaf preparations using the leaf clearing method, observation with optilab-raster image application. Research data were analyzed descriptively. The second stage was preparing modules on the structure and function of plant tissue as biology teaching materials for class XI using the ADDIE development model, which was limited to ADD. Module quality data was collected using a data collection instrument in the form of a product assessment questionnaire. The average result of product evaluation by material experts is 82.14%, and media experts are 84.37%. Based on the results of this assessment, the module on the structure and function of plant tissue is feasible to be used for testing as high school biology teaching materials.","PeriodicalId":31449,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika dan IPA","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41444475","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The stages of the research started from rearing the rice beetle, preparing test insects, making variations in doses, treatments, and analysis. Two tests were conducted in the study, the first for inhibition of F1 generation activity and the percentage of mortality using the contact method (filter paper). The results showed that nutmeg and clove oil had an effect on the inhibition of the rice beetle F1 generation. Nutmeg oil has the best inhibition power with the percentage of F1 generation inhibition up to 100%. The mortality test using the filter paper method showed that for 48 hours nutmeg essential oil was able to kill rice beetles at all concentrations, namely 5-20% to 100%, while the percentage of 100% mortality was only found in the treatment with clove oil at the highest concentration (20%). The results showed that nutmeg oil showed better results than clove oil for controlling S. oryzae warehouse pests. This study uses an approach with a descriptive type of research. The instruments used in this study were in the form of problem solving test questions and interview guidelines. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII in one of the schools in the Nganjuk district. The result of this research is that at each stage of problem solving students use cognitive components. Narrative components that affect students' success in solving problems, as seen in the results of subject answers. This shows that narrative has an important role in the problem solving process. The narrative component is related to understanding mathematical concepts, so it is hoped that in learning students can understand concepts. The results of this study indicate that students are still more focused the final solution and attention to an important component in the problem solving process, in this case is the commognitive component.","PeriodicalId":31449,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika dan IPA","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43545638","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Multiplex polymerase chain reaction (m-PCR) identified bacterial strains in less than 24 hours, detects E.coli specifically, and is faster than traditional methods. The goal of this study was to use m-PCR to detect early pathogenic E.coli bacteria in several drinking water sources in the Abepura district of Papua Indonesia as a parameter of pollution and water quality. The Chelex100 and microwave combination method was used to extract DNA. The first round of testing was done at four different concentrations: 0.125, 0.250, 0.375, and 0.500 M. The purity of the extracted DNA was good, ranging from 1.80 to 1.94. The optimum primer concentration for multiplexing applications is 0.25 uM for lt primer; 0.125 uM for stx2 and eae primer, with an annealing temperature of 55oC. m-PCR has been shown to quickly detect pathogenic E. coli in water samples. In the PCR process, E.coli DNA template was obtained with high purity (1.80-1.94) and concentration (576.9-4301.6 ng/uL) . Each multiplex set included three primer pairs for the target gene lt-eae-stx2 on ETEC-EPEC and EHEC respectively. The m-PCR process showed excellent results, and this findings can be considered as a reference for water analysis in several drinking sources in Papua Province.","PeriodicalId":31449,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika dan IPA","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43121925","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Without the motivation to learn, learning becomes meaningless. The problem found was there is a lack of student motivation to learn Physics. A solution that can be used to grow a student's learning motivation is the application of a design model. The method used was a qualitative descriptive method at one of the high schools in East Lampung. The purpose of this writing is to describe the role of a physics teacher in motivating students to learn physics by using the Backward by Design model. Students also needed media that could be used for independent and repetitive learning. Therefore, the researcher developed the Practicumma website by integrating learning components (learning resources, teaching materials, media, methods & evaluation) for online practicum. The research objective was to develop a biology learning website for the eleventh-grade science students. The type of research used is R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE development model.
