Over last year, many methods are based on non-destructive tests such as Line Resonance Analysis (LIRA), Broadband Impedance Spectroscopy (BIS). Time Domain Reflectometry, Joint Time-Frequency Domain Reflectometry is carried out. Although some of these test methods have been able to detect local degradation but to interpret the type of defect is still infancy. This work uses the BIS method with RG 58 CU cable of 33.5 meters total length. The degraded portion is done by using several types, the first is to use mechanical damage by bending beyond the cable’s tolerance limit damage, and the second is by connecting the resistance (100 Ohm) or capacitance (10nF) value using the T joint connector. The results are comparing by simulation with ANSYS Electronics Desktop. The results are the type of defect caused by the mechanical press, and the peeled parts have different characteristics. In Vietnam, socioeconomic condition, current traffic infrastructure and users’ habit are main causes of the prevalence of motorcycles, especially in large urbans. A huge number and high density of personal gasoline-powered vehicles has pressured traffic infrastructure and this is claimed to be the major contributor to air pollution. With reasonable purchase price and low operation cost, electric two-wheelers (e-bikes, electric mopeds, electric motorcycles) could be seen as a promising solution for replacing gasoline-powered motorcycles. In order to promote this transition, supporting infrastructure such as charging facilities should be studied, investigated and deployed. Nevertheless, electrification of mobility is only beneficial to environment if the electricity used to charge EVs comes from renewable sources and not from fossil fuel generation. With high potential of solar energy, local consumption of PV generation for charging stations in Vietnam may provides a promising solution. Firstly, the structure of virtual plant for peak regulation is introduced. Then, the historical data of PV is clustered by K-means to distinguish different weather conditions. To improve the prediction accuracy, genetic algorithm (GA) is used to improve the BP neural network. Finally, a short-term prediction model based on improved BP neural network is established in Matlab. In particular, we compare models that used different approaches for forecasting weekly average price and price density, and clarify the following empirical results using the data from Japan Electric Power Exchange (JEPX): 1) Instead of using forecasted temperature directly as an explanatory variable, the two-step forecast method with measured temperature is more likely to reduce the forecast error; 2) Quantile regression has better density forecast accuracy than a GARCH based model; 3) The multiplicative model using the logarithmic price series tends to have higher forecast accuracy than the additive model without logarithmic conversion; 4) Weather forecasts contribute to improving the forecast accuracy of weekly electricity prices and also play an important role in earning profits in forward market trading. The proposed arbitrage trading method can be utilized by many participants in that the strategy can be flexibly changed according to the level of risk tolerance. All optical wavelength conversion (AOWC) is the key technology to achieve high level all-optical networks. In addition, to further increase the network efficiency and decrease the blocking probabilities, the all optical wavelength conversion (AOWC) is needed to avoid wavelength contention for dynamic optical path switching at the nodes. In this paper, AOWC technology based on semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) is investigated. including cross-gain modulation (XGM), cross-phase modulation (XPM) and four-wave mixing (FWM). The implementation, advantages and disadvantages of these schemes are compared and discussed. The aging of the oil-impregnated cellulose insulation and the associated loss of mechanical strength are the important factors that limit the life of expectancy of a transformer. To determine the condition of the oil-impregnated cellulose insulation, the Degree of Polymerization (DP) parameter is commonly used. An Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) has been developed to predict the DP Value by the chemical characteristics and dissolved gas parameters (acidity, interfacial tension, CO, CO2, breakdown voltage, and water content of the oil). This paper generates some algorithms which are based on the input space partitioning method to generate rules (grid partition or subtractive clustering) and data is normalized or not.
