Rabbani","doi":"10.12732/ijam.v35i1.13","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.12732/ijam.v35i1.13","url":null,"abstract":"In the stratified sampling literature the main problem is to determine the sample sizes that should be selected from each stratum under (i) Equal Allocation, (ii) Proportional Allocation and (iii) Optimum Allocation. The best method is optimum allocation but in real situation the implementation of optimum allocation is not possible. In this case it is of interest to find near optimal allocation or compromise allocation. In case of multivariate sampling problem (where p different characteristics are under study) the optimal allocation method does not give the optimal solution for each variable and then researcher have to adapt in solution up to some extent by which the solution gives the optimal allocation in some sense. The compromise allocation is advisable in this situation. The present paper discusses a real situation problem where the two stage sampling are under study for more than one characteristics with quadratic travel cost of survey, the problem can be formulated as Multivariate Non Linear Programming Problem (MNLPP). Its pandemic spread and influence in everyday social life, economics and health is in central interest of concern for all governments in the world. This pandemic is the worst global disasters since the World Wars and pandemic from 1918, which completely change normal life of people. The combat against Covid-19 is playing a central role in all branches in each country in order to minimize the damage caused by this pandemic. Mathematical modelling of spread of infection and predictions that derived from the models can be used as efficient tool in this combat and can give precise direction to authorities to implement new or balance the already implemented restrictions and measures in order to decrease harmful consequences from epidemic. In this paper we are implementing new modified SEIRS-D model on Republic of North Macedonia epidemic situation, using AnyLogic software. The feature extraction of electrocardiogram, such as R-peak detection, is the central core of any electrocardiogram analysis. Study of electrocardiogram in wavelet domain using continuous wavelet transform with well-known wavelets and other proposed wavelets for this investigation is found to be helpful and yields reasonably reliable results. In order to validate this method, we apply it to several MIT-BIH database records. The continuous wavelet transform with one of the proposed wavelets namely, Mxr-1, achieves 99.97 % sensitivity, 99.89 % positive predictivity, and 0.135 % detection error for accurate detection of R peaks in comparison with the well-known standard wavelets such as Morlet, Mexican hat and Daubechies 4 and two other proposed mother wavelets Mxr-2 and Mxr-3.
