The assessment of prospects is carried out in the context of those problems and difficulties that arose during the implementation of the practice of shared housing construction before the adoption of amendments in the legislation regulating the transition to project financing of housing construction. Based on the opinions of experts and their own conclusions, the authors come to the conclusion that the prospects for the development of project financing of housing construction in Russia is definitely not possible to assess, due to the fact that the introduction of the mechanism of project financing is associated with the onset of both positive and negative consequences.
