Sağlık\u0000sektöründe ise hasta odaklılık, çalışan katılımı gibi Toplam Kalite\u0000uygulamalarının alt konuları ile uygulamaya geçiş sağlanmıştır. Hasta\u0000beklentilerinin tahmini ve hizmete kolay erişilebilirlilik ile memnuniyetinin\u0000sağlanması, hasta tarafından tercih edilebilirlilik, hasta sadakati ve gelen\u0000hasta sayısındaki artışı amaçlayan hastaneler aynı zamanda çalışanların\u0000memnuniyeti ve hızlı teşhis, doğru tedavi uygulaması ile kurum\u0000performansını arttırmayı amaçlamaktadırar. Hastanede kalış süresinin\u0000azaltılması ile hasta giriş çıkışlarının hızlanması ile hizmet verilen hasta\u0000sayısında artış sağlanması ve doğğumdan sonra beklenen yaşam süresi\u0000üzerinde olumlu etkisi olması beklenmektedir.\u0000Araştırmanın amacı sağlık alanında yoğunluk kazanan ve\u0000yaygınlaşan toplam kalite yöntemi uygulamalarının, hastanelerin\u0000performansına sağladığı katkının ortaya konmasıdır.
