Calculation of the temperatures has been made depending on whether the heat fl ow within the reinforced concrete column is one-dimensional or two-dimensional. The temperature of concrete and the temperature of reinforcement are calculated by the Hertz's method. The values of concrete strength and reinforcement, as well as the width of the damage zone of concrete during a certain period of exposure to fi re have been calculated. Resistance to the effects of fi re on reinforced concrete column has been calculated by the zone method. The mapping will be used for the preparation of a new module “Railway” for the prototype software system FLOREON + . The mapping focuses on railway critical points, such as level crossings, underpasses, bridges, where an increased risk of accidents exists. Pešić","doi":"10.35182/tses-2011-0016","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35182/tses-2011-0016","url":null,"abstract":": This paper presents the methods of detection and diagnosis of failures, that is, detecting the existence and causes of failure that can be applied in systems that operate in real time. The proposed system allows automatic and semi-automatic security management, and provides general average or minimizes the consequences of disasters. In addition, it de fi nes the conditions, i.e. the intervals of parameter values, under which causes of failure are created. Based on these parameters, optimal design of protection is possible and it enables the ef fi cient management of the system. Suggested fi re safety system in the process of atmospheric recti fi cation of oil offers the possibility to choose an optimal diagnostic algorithm and its practical and economic usage. A new approach should be applied in order to reduce fi re hazards in the process of atmospheric recti fi cation of oil. Fire safety system should be inseparable from the technological process, and vise versa. The procedure recommended for fault detection and diagnosis consists of two phases. Throughout we have to take into consideration both the transfer of blast waves parameters (high overpressures and temperatures) from non-load bearing elements of the structure to load bearing elements and afterwards their reactions. The pressure caused by an internal explosion depends mainly on the type and homogeneity of explosive mixture, on its concentration, ignition source, on the turbulence caused by internal objects and on the size and quantity of the explosive mixture participating on the explosion effect. If the building should be relieved suf fi ciently from the effects of the explosion, it must be equipped with the necessary amount of exhaust (relief, vent) areas. For exhaust components, we can consider light roofs, walls, or even sub-areas in the external structures such as windows and doors. For windows and doors, we have to take into account the risk of personal injury caused by broken glass or frames of the fi lling shattered during the explosion ( Č SN EN 1991-1-7, 2007). Abstract: In this contribution, simple computational approaches to the determination of blast load and its effects on the structure of prefabricated house are proved. Blast waves parameters are de fi ned for chosen room during natural gas escape. Blast load parameters are calculated by several methods. The method according the standard DIN 53436 was used for preparation of wood combustion gas in laboratory scale. As a measurement devices, both the nondispersive infrared analyser S710 (Maihak) and the standard infrared spectrometer with Fourier transform NICOLET IS10 were used for continuous analysis. The load is based on the standard EN 1147: 2010 Portable ladders for fi re-fi ghters (Dufek et al., 2010). Portable ladder used at Fire Rescue units consists of four parts. It has three parts with seven rungs and one part with nine rungs. The total length of the four-part set is about 8.3 m and the total weight is about 44 kg. The ladder is made of aluminium alloy Al-Mg-Si material according to EN 6060 (Kolarik, 2007). It is designed for the intervention and rescue operations of fi refi ghting units as a part of the equipment of fi re intervention vehicle (Tauchman, 2010). No more than three people can stay on one ladder at the same time.
