A version of this algorithm devoted to search a good solution for an OCP is presented. Because this kind of problems has usually a large computational complexity, a technique to reduce it is presented. This one exploits a particularity of DASA related to the coding of the problem's solution. In the first phase, DASA find out a good solution in a small number of iteration by adopting a rough coding of the control input. The second phase is a kind of zoom of the search space around this solution, which becomes initial solution, with a finer coding of the control input.","PeriodicalId":308427,"journal":{"name":"2018 22nd International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC)","volume":"126 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127586366","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From this point, these new tools are now essential in monitoring operations for vegetation and non-renewable resources, especially in developing countries. Data can be gotten as frequently as required to deliver information for determination of quantitative and qualitative changes in terrain. In reaching the aim of studying the forest composition and the vegetation dynamics during the time using satelitar imagery a K-means algorithm of chromatic analysis is proposed. In this way, by using comparisons between chronologically ordered records, could be described the vegetation changes and its developments in a given area. The exposed method in the present work suggests the joining two successive phases: the first step were used resolution suitable satellite images in order to succeed in building a model. The study was conducted between 1990 and 2017 by using LANDSAT data set. In the second phase, are applied chromatic investigation algorithm in order to succeed in reaching a map ofvegetation composition. The case study is that of Independenta Forest from Galati County. For discussion are presented three cases of September 2011, 2016 and 2017 Preliminary results on the composition evaluations are promising and the research is ongoing.","PeriodicalId":308427,"journal":{"name":"2018 22nd International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131274696","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper introduces ViMC, a tool we have developed to support software engineers in analyzing the structure of object-oriented software applications, by focusing on measuring the various aspects that define the properties of the entities within a software project. The tool provides a set of predefined software metrics that can be applied to sets of classes and packages within a given software application, while allowing the user to dynamically create new metrics, as needed. The definition of custom metrics is done either through programming, or by interactively combining existing metrics via a user interface.","PeriodicalId":308427,"journal":{"name":"2018 22nd International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115367003","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since vehicles drive on multi-lane roads and highways, the subsequent paradigm was to treat vehicles as swarms, i.e., groups of vehicles that travel closely together on different lanes and are electronically connected. A step forward towards this new concept would be the design of multiple-lane platoons. As such, this paper proposes a multi-agent distributed model predictive control strategy for the longitudinal coordination of the vehicles in individual platoons and a classical PI control algorithm for the lateral control of each vehicle in the platoon w.r.t. its neighbors. The simulation results obtained in Matlab/Simulink and the performance analysis prove that the concept is viable.","PeriodicalId":308427,"journal":{"name":"2018 22nd International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC)","volume":"358 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115628571","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper shows the development of such systems using Object Enhanced Time Petri Nets (OETPNs) framework. OETPN can model concurrency, reaction to internal and external events, synchronization and temporal behavior with fix and dynamic delays. OETPN keeps the bipartite graph structure of the classical Petri Nets, but the unique kind of tokens in PNs are changed to be any kind of objects to represent the data, or tasks (sub OETPN) that can either be active (i.e. threads of execution) or passive. OETPNs are capable to communicate with each other through input and output channels and to distribute concurrent tasks that are moved through a computer network with a dynamical structure (i.e. Task migration) without the need to stop the execution of the other OETPN. Guards and mappings are used to control the flow of execution in order to model the creation, insertion, modification and extraction of information of complex data structures. The mappings are also used to implement the information transformation and the placement of the resulted information at the output places of the transitions. The types of the places are specified to allow setting of objects or tasks. A new OETPN dynamic structure that is best suited for the server side is introduced. A Java platform that implement such applications is described and a complete system to manage the operations of the data structures is discussed with an example.","PeriodicalId":308427,"journal":{"name":"2018 22nd International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126027288","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The design of the control scheme is achieved under the hypothesis that the influent substrate concentrations and the reaction kinetics are unknown and time-varying, but also a part of the state variables are unmeasurable. The adaptive controller includes a linearizing controller connected with two state observers used for the real-time estimation of the unknown input substrate concentrations and with a parameter estimator which is used for kinetics estimation. The estimation of unknown influent substrate concentrations is realized by using the measurements of the internal substrate and lactic acid concentrations. The proposed parameter estimator employs the information which is provided on-line by two sliding-mode state observers. The performance of the designed control scheme is evaluated via simulation experiments conducted for a lactic acid production process (LAPP) carried out inside two sequenced CSTRs. The dynamics of the considered bioprocess is described by a nonlinear, incompletely known and time varying model.","PeriodicalId":308427,"journal":{"name":"2018 22nd International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114213104","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Previous contributions on the employment of column representatives focused on positive dynamics and linear co positive Lyapunov functions associated with exponentially contractive positive sets that are invariant with respect to such dynamics. Our approach refers to arbitrary dynamics and invariant sets with general form for time-dependence. We address both discrete and continuous-time cases. Our key finding is that the existence of such invariant sets is fully characterized (if and only if) by the Schur (Hurwitz respectively) stability of the column representatives corresponding to a matrix set adequately built from the original system matrices. Our mathematical developments are illustrated by a numerical example. These developments incorporate the previous contributions mentioned above as particular cases.","PeriodicalId":308427,"journal":{"name":"2018 22nd International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116222550","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
