One of them is the cultural concept of carrying out worship in a religion, which has been expanded massively through the cultivation of black-and-white ideology, right and wrong, or which means the truth of the teachings determines the obedience of religious people. However, this issue has become popular because many people want to be more compliant, so the migration movement is massive in society. This article examines that since Islamophobia emerged as a result of the 9/11 tragedy, Indonesia and Malaysia have conceptualized friendly Islam with the theme of religious moderation. This research uses a qualitative approach with the critical juncture method. Research findings show that in Malaysia, a multi-ethnic party won last year's elections after falling out with a Malay-Muslim party. Identity politics is quite strong in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Indonesia is busy promoting Wasatiyya Islam as a basic religion, and it was also promoted in the R20 last year. For years, these two countries have tried to become friendly countries for various ethnicities and religions. Thus, indigenization is more suitable because the two countries have similar traditions and cultures, so indigenization is important for politics and the state. \u0000Keywords: Indigenization, Religious Moderation, 9/11 Tragedy, and Political Identity

Child marriage is widely practiced in indigenous and Muslim communities in the Philippines, but Republic Act No. 11596, known as the "Prohibition of Child Marriage Law," made it illegal in January 2022. Several actors, including youth groups in Muslim Mindanao, are seen as participants in this great success. This study aims to investigate the engagements and contributions of two Bangsamoro youth civil society organizations (CSOs) in this advocacy to recognize youth participation. Also, this study uses an institutional approach to seek and identify the enabling environment for youth participation in their quest to become active agents of positive change. Qualitative approaches are used to collect data from CSO youth members and other key informants. The findings imply that institutionalizing participation venues and the availability of initiatives funded by diverse donors promote robust youth engagement. Respondents also identified community involvement and school-based leadership development as motivators for joining and forming organizations. Networks among Bangsamoro youth groups encourage involvement and provide support in the pursuit of their advocacy. Intergenerational differences, on the other hand, limit youth engagement. \u0000 \u0000Keywords: Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, CEFM, Youth-led engagement, Civil society organizations, Institutions

Turi District was previously known as a salak fruit-producing area, which developed as a salak agro center. However, Turi District has become the area with the most tourist villages in Sleman Regency. The growth of tourist villages there is relatively rapid and reasonably fast. This research aims to look at the transformation process and the capital supporting the tourist villages' development in the Turi District. The method used in this research is qualitative. The data collection techniques are observation and interviews. Meanwhile, the theories used are social capital and human capital. The research has three main findings. Firstly, the tourist village in Turi District is a shared asset managed collectively and driven by the collective awareness of the local community. Solid social relations and local institutions support this collective awareness. Social capital makes it easier to mobilize community participation in the pilot process and management of tourist villages. Second, the existence of solid bonding relationship capital supported by external network capital with outside institutions (bridging social capital). It further facilitates efforts to develop tourist villages. Third, even though social capital significantly influences the start-up and management of tourist villages, the key factor in intensifying the development of tourist villages comes from actors or leaders who can build ideas and mobilize physical capital and social capital. In other words, human capital is fundamental in developing tourist villages in Turi District. Based on these findings, this research provides an overview of village communities regarding the importance of commodifying village potential through independent management, actualizing social capital, and the significance of local leadership. It is to provide economic benefits for village communities and maintain environmental and cultural assets (environment and culture sustainability). \u0000Keywords: human capital, leadership, social capital, tourism villages, transformation

This article explores the aspect of justice for the entire community, which is one of the characteristics of religious tourism branding, which can provide access to the entire community to feel comfortable and safe when traveling and create significant growth in the creative economy of the surrounding community. Madura is generally known as a religious area that emphasizes religious values. In religious values, God never differentiates between his people. The research used a qualitative approach with the interpretive method where informants experienced an in-depth interview. The research finding described that in its development, Madura religious tourism should pay attention not only to economic aspects but also to the involvement of social justice in providing opportunities for people with disabilities to access the religious facilities and religious tourism they have. Together with the tourism department, researchers are trying to provide suggestions and strategies for the sustainability of religious tourism development that prioritizes aspects of religious branding and justice for every congregation. With increasing attention to the rights of people with disabilities in religious tourism, the image and branding will increase to attract the wider community to increasingly visit tourism in Madura in general and religious tourism in Sumenep in particular. Development focusing more on the tourism sector and the creative economy should not marginalize people with disabilities as part of the development object. Therefore, inclusion-friendly tourism development needs to be an input for related agencies and local governments to uphold aspects of social justice among fellow humans. \u0000Keywords: Inclusion development, Madura, Minority-conscious tourism, Religious tourism \u0000

History has proven that international political contestation occurred in this region from the era of colonialism at the end of the 16th century until no. This article explores how the Southeast Asian region is still a place of power rivalry and influence of major world powers such as China and the United States and, in the broader scope, the Indo-Pacific region. The research implemented Immanuel Kant's triangle of global politics and liberalism perspective to inquire into ASEAN countries' policy due to regional security and peacebuilding. It also uses literature study as a research method. The result indicates that ASEAN, established in 1967, has played a significant role in regional politics, especially in maintaining security and stability. The success of ASEAN is inseparable from the way ASEAN diplomacy with external partners by holding the principles and values believed by ASEAN member countries, known as the ASEAN Way. Ethnoreligious conflicts, boundary disputes, genocide, resource-based conflicts, and youth restiveness characterize many African nations. This idea has been made intricate by a surge in the youth population, massive unemployment, limited education opportunities, and widespread poverty that makes youth key factors in the generation of conflict in Africa. Despite these challenges, the youth of many African nations have distinguished themselves as agents of peace and conflict resolution. On this premise, this article examines youth as agents of peace and reconciliation in Africa. The paper adopts a thematic approach within a qualitative framework and relies on secondary data from briefs, newspapers, conference papers, government reports, and peer-reviewed journal articles. The paper found that shifting focus from the stereotypical prejudice of youth as agents of conflict to agents of peace is instrumental to unlocking their potential as actors in Africa's peace process and conflict resolution. It was also found that youth promote peace and inclusion through advocacy and civic engagement. They use tools such as music, arts, sports, education, storytelling, and interfaith dialogue to build cohesion, resilience, peace, and trust in various parts of Africa. Resultantly, the article made practical policy recommendations such as the establishment of an African Youth Assembly (AYA), African Youth Parliaments (AYP), Youth Participation Commission (YPC), and Youth Empowerment Commission (YEC) – among others. \u0000Keywords: Conflict, Governance, Inclusion, Peacebuilding, Youth

The researchers use theoretical debate and literature study to identify the political motivations that affect the Congressmen in the approval of the budget, namely: self-interest, political clientelism, and political interference. An online interview was conducted with the selected key informants to know the significance of each factor in congress's decision-making regarding the budget's approval. The results indicate that self-interest, political clientelism, political interference, and the executive department significantly influence the congressional committees on the budget legislation process. This article concludes that the effectiveness of lawmakers' roles in managing the economy correlates with the majority of representation held by the government's ruling party, as in the case of the 17th congress. \u0000Keywords: Budget Legislation, General Appropriations Act (GAA), Political Clientelism, Philippine Congress

It is considered to be detrimental to the lower middle class while benefiting certain entities. Consequently, there was a polarization of public discourse in cyberspace. Therefore, this study aimed to map polarization trends in the internet community regarding the polemic on the Job Creation Law. This research used mixed methods with the Corpus-Assisted Discourse Study (CADS) framework. The trend amongst the cyber community indicated that there was group polarization in perceiving these issues, where both pro and con groups have different arguments and justifications in addressing the matter. The research data was in the form of tweets corpus totaling 12,224 tokens related to the Job Creation Law. The Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK) package built into Python 3.9.2 was used for tokenization and stopword removal. Lancsbox 6.0 was used to compute keywords and determine concordances. Furthermore, the significance of the keyword frequency was calculated using the Log-Likelihood test. This study identified three main topics in the controversial debate on the Job Creation Law, namely 1) State financial and economic policies; 2) Employment, length of service, and income; and 3) Environment and sustainability. \u0000Keywords: Corpus-Assisted Discourse Study (CADS), Cyberspace, Job Creation Law, Omnibus Law, Polarization.
