Apart from the production costs incurred, there are also transaction costs that are often not taken into account by cultivators. The purpose of this study was to identify components and calculate transaction costs and analyze the economic efficiency of vannamei shrimp farming in Ketapang District based on transaction costs incurred. This study uses secondary and primary data with samples selected by cluster proportional simple random sampling. The selected respondents were vannamei shrimp cultivators from six vannamei shrimp pond center villages with traditional, semi-intensive and intensive technology as many as 30 people. The data analysis method used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The data obtained is then analyzed by transaction cost analysis. The results showed that the components of the transaction costs of the vannamei shrimp farming business and their ratios consisted of market information costs (0.02), input and output costs (0.01), implementation costs (0.19), licensing fees (0.23) , and levy fees (0.55). Cashew is originally developed as a conservation plant to improve critical land. The paradigm shift in the end make it used as a source of farmers' income. Increased production makes cashew as one of the leading export commodities. This is because Indonesian cashews has the potential and are well received in the international market. The purpose of this research is to determine the competitiveness of Indonesian cashew in terms of either competitive advantage or comparative advantage which focused on two comparison countries they are India and Vietnam. The comparative advantage factor can be found using the analysis of RCA (Revealed Comparative Adventage), RCTA and ISP (Trade Specialization Index), where the theory describes whether Indonesian cashew has a comparative advantage and knowing whether Indonesia's cashew commodity tends to be an exporter or importer country, as well as measuring the position of the stages of development of Indonesian cashew. The competitive advantage factor can be found through the analysis of the Export Competitiveness Index (ECI), where the theory describes whether Indonesian cashew has a competitive advantage. The results of this research indicates that, Indonesia has a comparative advantage with an average RCA value of 2.44 and an RCTA of 20.54 and a declining competitive advantage with an average ECI value of 0.96. Sukajadi, Sadananya District, Ciamis Regency. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out in 3 ways, namely field surveys, questionnaires, and documentation. The population consists of 341 household heads. The sampling technique used is a simple random sampling technique. The results of the study found that land use in the form of yard land use has the potential to increase income. So that it can help the family economy. As for the form of land use yards that can increase income can be in the form of land use yards in other forms of business such as (groceries business, workshops, and so on). Meanwhile, the amount of income received before utilizing the land was only less than IDR 500,000 up to IDR 1,000,000.
