Most AD patients rely on their caretakers to carry out their daily routine. The research presents a personalized digital memory book for Alzheimer's Disease (AD) patient. The application was tested on a real patient on its functionality and usability to help the patient to manage her everyday task, enhance her reminiscene and stimulate her cognitive function. The results indicated positive feedback and good level of user-satisfaction. Recently, due to interest in Smart Grid technologies for asset management and testing, the online battery monitoring application is studied in Tenaga Nasional Berhad. Important battery condition parameters such as floating cell voltage, temperature and internal resistance are gathered from the site and sent to TNB Research laboratory, about 30 km away via a private fibre-optics network. Based on resource-based theory, this research employs the innovative culture, social networks and environmental characteristic resources to examine their influences on technological capability. The role of innovation strategy is discussed as a mediator, and the Manufacturing Industry in Malaysia is examined. All of the findings completely or partially support our research hypotheses. Three sound levels as perceived as Talk, Loud and Shout were examined. In 10 subjects, the results showed that in all frequency ranges (4000 Hz, 1000 Hz and 500 Hz) the peak of N1 waves have significantly reduced when stimulated by Talk level as compared to Loud and Shout. Insignificant reduction of N1 amplitude was increased as the stimulation intensity changed from Loud to Shout stimulation. In particular, the Shout stimulated response's showed a constants N1 wave throughout stimulation in most of the subjects. The results showed that the focus strength could be measured by analyzing the degree of reduction of N1 wave. Therefore, the proposed method could be used as a framework towards clinical trial to measure the practicability of the memory booster pill or drugs on enhancing one's focus strength or it just a placebo effect. In addition, we have seen that our focus could be manipulated by level of vibrant intensities. Videos from stationary cameras contain mainly background, with movement appearing rarely. Standard video coders record everything in the video frames at the same quality, including the background which contains no information of interest. Knowledge of the application could improve the video compression efficiency. Standard video encoders takes a lot of computation power, with Motion Estimation (ME) taking around 60-80% of the encoder compute budget. Encoder computation cost can be reduced by encoding the background region at lower quality. The services offered by these systems allow users to communicate with their family members, friends, banks and business partners whenever they are online. Particularly, the VoIP service is popular with the Internet users because charges are bound into usually fixed access costs making the price of the long distance calls themselves appear economical and even free. However, VoIP services have several disadvantages. One of the disadvantages of VoIP is, it is exposed to Internet security vulnerabilities, threats and attacks. The attacks come in many forms. One of the methods to attack the VoIP service, is by sending a Spam over Internet Telephony (SPIT). SPIT is normally executed by malicious parties initiating automated, unsolicited, and unwanted communications that used VoIP or video conferencing services, just like an email SPAM. Solutions to mitigate SPIT are still lacking. To defense a VoIP system from SPIT, we have come out with the idea of Automated Intrusion Detection and Prevention System over SPIT (AIDPoS) that can detect and prevent SPIT from external parties to enter the VoIP network. AIDPoS is a combination system of Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) on Voice over IP (VoIP) server. This is an experimental research to find a solution to combat SPIT if it happens in the future. Our result shows that an automated Intrusion detection and Prevention system over SPIT attack is feasible. Our work is on an open source VoIP network. The design based on GMT, doubly terminated Chebyshev low pass filter response is used. The first two resonators of each channel are modified using formulas in GMT. The design is verified though MathCAD plots. In coupling matrix synthesis design, the general coupling matrix of each filter and coupling band width for two adjacent resonators are calculated. A novel technique is used for diplexer input design. The group delays are measured at the centre frequencies of channel filters. The physical diplexer design round rod type inter digital filter is selected. This phenomena and this fact that internet is boundary less network, raised the concern of exposure to unwanted images and more importantly offensive images. Pornographic images are among most offensive images especially for minors. Although there are numbers of researches conducted to address this challenge, but this field is still crude. In this paper, different approaches to pornographic image detection is reviewed and categorized by focusing to content based methods. The proposed open loop dumbbell shaped DGS is used to tuned the bandpass filter to 6 GHz with a dimension of 50mm × 25mm. The bandpass filter is designed by using FR-4 printed circuit board and a tuning range of 0.994 GHz is achieved. This filter gives an insertion loss of -5.784 dB and a return loss of -11.051 dB. A comparison of the design of bandpass filter with open loop dumbbell shaped DGS is analyzed to identify the better performance of the bandpass filter.
