We are focusing solely on constructions which present a new model of government with regard to the initial sentence proposition: the transformation V+Acc provides the following nominalizations N(v) + na + Acc, N(v) + k + Dat, N(v) + nad + Inst, N(v) + o + Loc in Russian. In Serbian a similar result is observed and the attention is paid to the following transformational relationship: V + Gen ? N(v) + od + Gen.","PeriodicalId":30153,"journal":{"name":"Juznoslovenski Filolog","volume":"97 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85037993","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We especially wanted to draw attention to the inherent mechanisms of language which directly signal that the two forms, not necessarily different, are connected with the same meaning, and related to the same semantic role, for which it is directly responsible - the same propositional function they have. Although it may seem that the difference between semantic and syntactic coreference is not so significant, it has been revealed that in the latter case, the syntactic relations are the main language means of expressing propositional functions and corresponding semantic roles. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to highlight the syntagmatic mechanisms of language, with the help of which the structural, informative and informative hierarchy of the sentence members is carried out. The purpose of such hierarchization is not so much to streamline or rethink the structure of the sentence, but rather to ensure the integration of complex content on the one hand, and settle the situational significance of individual participants on the other hand.","PeriodicalId":30153,"journal":{"name":"Juznoslovenski Filolog","volume":"10 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78537285","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The corpus of this dialect indicates that the imperative functions as a syntactic unit with a broad syntactic and semantic range. Syntactic, semantic and stylistic features of the imperative are determined on the basis of its primary modal meaning, but also on the basis of its secondary meaning when it refers to single or habitual actions in the past, which are typically repetitive. It turned out that the imperative is stable in all three functional domains of the same vernacular and that it is not suppressed by isofunctional units, i.e. those with similar syntactic or semantic features. Finally, it was found that the imperative has an expressive value when it undergoes temporal transposition, which makes it a stylogenic unit.","PeriodicalId":30153,"journal":{"name":"Juznoslovenski Filolog","volume":"33 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87978353","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We start with the analysis of their basic spatial meanings which show that ovde is a true deictic expression that, if it is accopanied with the act of showing, can obtain the value of a demonstrative. On the contrary, tu behavies as a noun phrase with the definite article. Its spatial meaning is easily transformed into the asbtract one. We also show that the temporal usage of ovde is not completely temporal because it denotes the space captured in one relevant moment.","PeriodicalId":30153,"journal":{"name":"Juznoslovenski Filolog","volume":"7 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75857088","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since the publication of its Cyrillic version in 1962, it has been recognised as a highly valuable source for the history not only of law and economics, but also of the Serbian language. Its linguistic relevance consists not merely in displaying traits of an early dialectal development and rendering a lot of terms borrowed from the Middle High German language of the ?Saxons? (Sasi), settlers who after the second half of 13th century triggered the development of the mining industry in medieval Serbia: moreover, it provides the first attestations of many genuine words of spoken Old Serbian, some of them probably calqued on German patterns. One of these words is osvetiti of the Cyrillic version, apparently identical to Old Serbian osvetiti ?sanctify; impose a legal sanction; revenge? < Common Slavic *obsvetiti, but making no sense in the given context. Yet in the Latin version it occurs twice written with ? rendering e (?yat?), which points to *obsvetiti ?to light up (the mining gallery)?, and such an interpretation seems contextually plausible. If it is true, we have in the Mining Code the single attestation of osvetiti in Serbian outside of the texts written in Church Slavonic. In the vernacular, the verb was replaced by osv(ij)etliti, partly because in the ekavian speeches it became homophonous with osvetiti.","PeriodicalId":30153,"journal":{"name":"Juznoslovenski Filolog","volume":"11 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81895767","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A comparison of the data on the Kashubian dialect recorded in Prussia during the mid-19th century by Hilferding and in the present-day by the author in the Renfrew area (Ontario, Canada) revealed no significant difference, even though the Kashubian spoken in the area has undergone various innovations due to the influence of English. Both grammatical and sociolinguistic analyses of the history of the contact situation suggested that the conservativeness of grammatical changes in the dialect can be explained by the pro-longed isolation of the speakers in their new homeland, and by the fact that the intensive language contact and collective bilingualism between Kashubian and English are relatively new phenomena.","PeriodicalId":30153,"journal":{"name":"Juznoslovenski Filolog","volume":"43 1","pages":"13-29"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91336375","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
