It brings a significant share of revenue to the hunting sector, which is mainly focused on the improvement of habitat conditions, as well as the production, breeding and protection of game and a to a smaller extent on the construction and maintenance of facilities for the accommodation and board of tourist hunters. Hunting is an important recreational, sporting and touristic activity characterized by the potential presence of various safety risks, which can cause injury and even accidental death of participants in the hunt and their hunting dogs, but also of other persons, and cause damage to property in the hunting grounds and beyond. Data suggest that almost every year in Serbia one death is caused by hunting firearms during hunting.","PeriodicalId":30149,"journal":{"name":"Glasnik Sumarskog Fakulteta Univerzitet u Beogradu","volume":"1 1","pages":"45-54"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68307253","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Vidlic, which borders the southern edge of the Balkans Mountain in Serbia, known as Stara planina. Having conducted field research, we presented the obtained results in the form of a phytosociological table. Dry grassland and rocky ground vegetation belongs to the familiar alliances of Festucion valesiacae (Festuco-Brometea) and Seslerion rigidae (Festuco-Seslerietea). Phytosociological data were analyzed using cluster analysis and evaluation of biodiversity indices. The stands of dry grasslands and rocky grounds were classified according to their floristic composition. Altitude proved to be the major factor in their grouping by floristic similarity. In other words, there is an increase in biodiversity with an increasing altitude. The importance of dry grasslands and rocky grounds of Mt.Vidlic lies primarily in their role in erosion control, but their diversity makes them an important source of medicinal herbs and grazing land. The aim of this research was to analyze the dynamics of selling and buying of wood and nonwood forest products (NWFPs) within the analyzed enterprises in the Jablanica District. The purpose of this research was to examine the possibilities for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) directed towards a sustainable use of forest products in the area of the Jablanica District. The subject of this research is: purchased and placed quantities in the analyzed enterprises, as well as the prices that were realized for the products, with special emphasis on commercially important mushrooms. The research was conducted in the territory of Jablanica and it included five enterprises engaged in the purchasing, processing and sale of NWFPs and the Forest Estate (FE) “Forest” Leskovac. The purchase of raw forest fruits and herbs had a growing trend (+ 17.8%) in the 2006-2013 period. The average annual growth rate (AAGR) of sales was 3.4% for medicinal plants and 30.6% for mushrooms. The AAGR of NWFPs export was + 32.6%. The placement of beech wood assortments (K class) recorded a purchase AAGR of app. + 12.7%. In 2013, it was found that the NWFPs with the highest market value were: blueberry, dried boletus and chanterelle. In 2013, their total gross revenue in the domestic market amounted to 82.3 million RSD, whereas the total gross revenue of the analyzed beech wood assortments was 87 million RSD. Public roads in one forest area have been mainly built due to needs of local communities, access to rural areas, the development of tourism, recreation and so on. Forest truck roads have been built and maintained by those who manage forests (the forest management), while public roads have been managed by the Directorate for Roads of the Federation of B&H and cantonal and local governments. In the last twenty years, the sector for wood assortments transport in the Federation of B&H is in charge of the private transport operators which use vehicles of large capacities and high axle loads for the purpose of transport of as large as possible quantities of wooden mass per time unit. Due to this fact, the roads have deteriorated faster. The accelerated deterioration of the roads used for the transport of wooden assortments imposes the need for the allocation of larger funds for their maintenance. Due to the increasing damages on the roads the prohibitions of use of some public roads for wooden assortments transport occur more frequently. The aim of the research is to determine the total length of public roads which open Forest Management Units of Sarajevo Canton (FMU of SC) and to investigate the possibility of using these categories of roads for forestry. For examination and analysis possibilities of using public roads for wooden assortments transport qualitative research - polls methods have been applied within the framework of the key representatives of the target groups such as forestry and the local community. In the questionnaire, two sets of questions were specified, the first one which is designed to determine the possible existence of problems of using public roads for transport of wooden assortments and possible causes of occurrence of the problems. The second group of questions gives some of the possible solutions for solving the problems of using public roads for the purpose of transport of wood assortments. The results of the survey show that the share of public roads for opening forest truck roads of Canton Sarajevo amounts 44.94%. The given results illustrate that the cases of prohibition of use of public roads for wood assortments transport are rare. The largest proportion of respondents (65%) pleaded that there are no problems (conditions) for using public roads within their territory. A share of 32% of respondents said that there are some requirements for the use of public roads for the transport of wood assortments in their territory and those are mostly demands that FMU covers the costs of maintenance of these roads. A share of 58% of respondents gave the answer that those requirements originate from self-organized groups of citizens. A share of 42% of respondents gave the answer that these requirements originate from the local community (municipalities and lower levels).
