Terrorism that has occurred recently has ideological, historical and political links and is part of the dynamics of the strategic environment at the global and regional levels. Although Indonesians have mostly carried out acts of terrorism in various regions in recent years and only a few external actors. This study uses normative juridical research methods by examining data sources from legal literature and literature review as well as direct interviews with stakeholders related to countermeasures against terrorism. This study aims to discover the role of the BNPT and the authorities in eradicating terrorism and the role of society and community organisations in Indonesia in efforts to deal with terrorism. Observing current developments, BNPT continues to mobilise various elements of the nation to fight radicalism together, promote counter-radicalisation, and work with other government agencies and various media to unify and equalise perceptions in dealing with this threat. The role of the media in eradicating terrorism is not effective enough to balance and purify the mass media from radicalism. The collaboration of roles with various parties is also very necessary. Therefore, the role of the community, community organisations, especially regional heads, political figures, and religious scholars in each region are needed to participate in activities to eradicate terrorism in Indonesia actively.","PeriodicalId":301259,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advances in Social Sciences and Humanities","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128775742","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Forced migration due to climate change, natural disasters, and conflict are among the most important policy challenges of the 21st century. The purpose of this research was to identify the impact of the Transmigration policy on the utilization of the local socio-economic and cultural environment for the Sigulai village community, Simeulue Regency, Aceh province, Indonesia. The Simeulue Government’s policy to bring in 1000 transmigrant families aims to develop the area of potential economic, but in reality, the policy does not comply with the policy that has been conveyed by the local government to provide facilities for 2 hectares of land, decent housing, life support, clean water facilities, educational facilities and transportation This study was a qualitative approach by using the triangulation data, namely observation, interviews and literature study. The results of this study indicated that the transmigration policy by the Simeulue district government does not yet have any clear goals and standards for economic inequality. Also, this study identified that there is a positive impact of the transmigration policy on the socioeconomic and cultural environment of the local community, including gardening skills. This study concluded that the transmigration policy does not yet have any clear goals and standards, especially for economic inequality and is a positive impact on the transmigration policy on the socioeconomic and cultural environment of the local community.","PeriodicalId":301259,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advances in Social Sciences and Humanities","volume":"200 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134002304","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Society is generally experienced an economic downturn. Studying financial literacy among millennials to provide knowledge about financial management by millennials has an impact on steps to minimize poverty in Aceh, especially in the South West region of Aceh. This study is designed using a post-positivistic paradigm approach with a mix- method methodology. The results of this study suggest that managing millennials finances in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic is a measure of poverty alleviation in the people of Aceh because an excellent financial understanding of millennials can realize the economic independence of these millennials. However, the involvement of millennials in investing online is very little because millennials' knowledge of financial management influences still needs to be improved. The constraints of online investment for millennials during the pandemic are due to the mistake of having a product in sales. The product being sold is a product that is not in demand by the public, so the product needs to sell better. In addition, another obstacle is choosing the wrong online investment, namely, choosing a fake one. In the end, the application disappears suddenly.","PeriodicalId":301259,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advances in Social Sciences and Humanities","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124227041","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Likewise, no studies have tried to analyze the effect of corruption on economic growth through FDI as moderation in Indonesia. Using data for 1995-2019 with Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) and path analysis methods, this study found that TO negatively affected economic growth in the short and long term. FDI has proven to increase economic growth in the short term but has no long-term effect. Then, similar to TO, corruption is contradicted by the theory that a high level of corruption tends to increase economic growth both in the short and long term. Also, this study proves that FDI cannot moderate the effect of corruption on economic growth. Considering TO and corruption that is found not to be in line with theory, this study suggests the government can focus more their policies on the productive side rather than the consumptive side of TO to increase technological development and improve the quality of the utilization of both natural and human resources, as well as intervene in all market behavior that has the potential to distort healthy economic competition and closing opportunities for corruptors to impede the effectiveness of implementing government policies.","PeriodicalId":301259,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advances in Social Sciences and Humanities","volume":"148 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116865161","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
