How is it possible to reflect them as one moment of creative event? For answering this question first of all, it discusses the clash between the logic and creativity in meeting of philosophy and arts and secondly – the clash between the word and the image, invented by the artist Rene Magritte and the philosopher Michel Foucault. It returns to the classical disagreement of Nietzsche with Socrates about the dominance of logic over creativity and asks the question: what side is taken by Gilles Deleuze (1925–1995) and Felix Guattari (1930–1992) in this discussion. It seems they reconcile logic with creativity, saying that art is no correlative, no supplement to scientific understanding, that the three great forms of thought – art, science, and philosophy, – are three independent routes, each specific and each as direct as the others. Hillier","doi":"10.15823/ZZ.2015.18","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15823/ZZ.2015.18","url":null,"abstract":"In this study we provide an overview of the strategies and instruments developed through two European projects to support teacher training and to promote effective use of interactive whiteboards in a variety of subject areas and educational sectors. The two European projects, both funded through the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission, are: Interactive Technologies in Language Teaching (iTILT) and Supporting Continuous Professional Development of Vocational Education and Training (VET) teachers in the use of Interactive Whiteboards (SmartVET). We will outline both projects and report in detail on the outcomes and recommendations resulting from the needs analysis on which both projects based the design of their training models and material. Other results reported include the training practices and resources that were developed, including 1) online training through more than 250 video clips of IWB practice in classrooms in six European countries, some 30 instructional video clips together with additional resources, 2) training handbooks with realistic model materials. Motivation is responsible for most of our thoughts and deeds. Human motivation is extremely complex both to account for and understand. This paper explores the significance of motivation as a contributing factor in foreign language acquisition. Motivation is the learner’s orientation with regard to the goal of learning a foreign language. Motivation is divided into several types: intrinsic, extrinsic, instrumental, integrative, achievement motivation.
