The conventional microwave radar imaging suffer limited range resolution in the sub-millimeter range and optical imaging methods are constrained by the diffraction limit. In the Terahertz (THz) spectrum, SAR systems are capable of operating in all weather, all time and penetrating through clouds, smoke, dust etc. to achieve better resolution images beyond the diffraction limit. In this paper, the different aspects of Multimedia computing are investigated in THz circular SAR as a new mode of radar imaging for near-field applications for example indoor environment. We have explored a new toolbox that enables the rapid development of near-field THz imaging SAR systems and generation of large near-field THz imaging scenarios that could be used for data driven applications. A circular SAR imaging system is presented for 2D (two-dimensional) imaging of targets in THz-SAR and the radar images are reconstructed using the Back Propagation and Polar Formatting Algorithms. The SAR performance evaluation metrics are reported and scope for future work is discussed.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123169598","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The implementation is done with the help of single device without using any external circuitry. The nature of bias current applied at the drain of the MOSFET, and the weights associated with the inputs decide the logic that is to be implemented. A three-layer spiking neural network has also been designed using the proposed neuron to verify image classification efficiency of the network for multiclass MNIST dataset. The maximum accuracy of 96.88% was achieved from the designed network.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"87 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127725819","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The motive is to provide the pathogen-directed antibiotics at the right time through the automation of detecting the pathogens in Bacterial Pneumonia with Artificial Intelligence. This study has combined the pre-trained model with machine learning classifiers for binary classification. The pre-trained model VGG16 is fine-tuned and then the features are extracted from this model. For the classification purpose, three machine learning classifiers (SVM, Random Forest, and Bagging) are used to evaluate the performance of the model on two metrics Testing Accuracy and Validation Accuracy. To generalize the model we have also used one of the most widely used K-Fold cross-validation techniques. A comparison is also made between the existing methodology and ours on the same dataset used in this study. Our methodology performs better by achieving the highest testing accuracy of 90.8% with Bagging as a Classifier. VGG16 achieved the lowest testing accuracy of 82.63% whereas VGG16 with Support Vector Machine achieved 89.65% of testing accuracy and with Random Forest 88.77%.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116361814","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The range of pressure applied was kept for 1 GPa to 3 Gpa. The outcomes of the work done have been summarized in terms of gradient of the optical gain with uni-axial and bi-axial pressures applied on the GaAsSb/InAs/AlSb QW heterostructure. In results, it is found that for uni-axial x-direction (100) and bi-axial (110) pressure, the optical gain gradient is positive, while that for uni-axial z-direction (001) the gradient of the optical gain is negative. Thus, in conclusion, the x-directional (100) and bi-axial directional (110) pressure significantly enhances the gain. The results are novel and claim the usage of such heterostructure as light source with high optical gain.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133949085","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Quantum computing (QC) is a new technology that employs laws of quantum mechanics to address issues such as irreversibility and power dissipation that are outside the scope of conventional computing models. QC offers a powerful stage for solving complex and compound problems like searching and number factoring. A critical task in utilizing quantum physics in many application fields is circuit design using reversible quantum gates. Unitary decomposition is a popular scheme for mapping quantum algorithms to any set of elementary quantum operations. Using decomposition techniques enables transformation of unitary matrices into fundamental quantum gates, which is critical for running algorithms on prevailing quantum computers. Any 3x3 reversible quantum gate can be decomposed into single-qubit rotation gates and two qubit CNOT gates. This paper is the first to present quantum implementations of FRSG1 and JTF1 gates into CNOT gates and single qubit U3 gates with different optimization levels on a platform provided by IBM. These gates are important in a variety of practical applications like Stochastic computing and parity generation circuits. In FRSG1 the implementation count of single qubit gates decreases by 56% and the count of two qubit gates by 15% after optimization, whereas in JTF1 gate the single qubit gate count reduces by 71% and the number of two qubit gates reduces by 41%.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128259462","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to overcome the challenges like lack of quality coaches, poor infrastructure availability, identifying the crude talent from remote rural areas, poor communication linkage between sports academies, early talent pooling etc., we develop a web-based cricket talent identification system (cricket talent acquisition and ranking quotient: C-TARQ). We use the PHP web programming on the modern LARAVEL framework. The validation of model is provided on a primary dataset (n=56) collected from four different schools of the J…K UT, India. The webpage screenshots, results and class diagram of the system is provided.
