Due to the general poor interaction of mid-IR light with nanometric-scale molecules, the electro-optical properties of graphene resonant plasmons based device is exploited to demonstrate a tunable label-free protein sensor with high sensitivity. The confinement of graphene plasmons is much larger than that of the conventional metallic structure due to the two-dimensional nature of the collective oscillations of Dirac quasi-particles. The localized graphene plasmons can dynamically produce a high light overlap with nanometer size biomolecules, which plays an essential role in the resulted super sensitivity in the detection of the protein's permittivity. Furthermore, graphene plasmons merge optics with electronics which provide a unique capacity to control light in nanoscale. In this study, we have demonstrated a multiband multi-dimensional CAP modulation scheme and investigated its applications in short reach optical communication systems. Similar to discrete multitone (DMT) technique, several independent bands can be loaded with different three dimensional carrierless amplitude phase (3D-CAP) signals in the proposed multiband 3-dimensional CAP system, offering improved tolerance to non-flat channels. For the disaster survivable problem in an elastic optical datacenter networks with a bandwidth constraint, we formulate an integer linear program (ILP) for shared protection model. The algorithm utilizes the priori method to maximize the network throughput firstly, and then to minimize used spectrum resources. Unicast and anycast methods in shared protection are investigated. The OS has four beam splitters which are formed by changing the radii of the air holes. With the self-collimation effect and the radii we set for beam splitters, the light beam's propagation will be well controlled. Using the multiple-beam interference theory, we analyse the theoretical transmission spectra and make the simulation, which is realized by two-dimensional finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) simulation technique. With the combination of fiber cladding shaping and thermal core expansion, the fabricated LPFG exhibit excellent performance as band pass filters. The insertion loss at 1550 nm band is below 0.5 dB. In this paper, the domestic and foreign products of the current micro spectrometers are introduced, at the same time, the performance parameters are summarized and compared. The optical aberrations including spherical aberration, coma, astigmatism and field curvature are further summarized and discussed. The development direction and prospects of the Czerny-Turner structure micro spectrometer are prospected.
