It also highlights and describes internal factors: typological, functional and technological, engineering and constructive, space-planning, and architectural and artistic. Socio-economic factors are analysed by identifying factors that inhibit the development of new functions based on the renovation of stopped industrial facilities and contribute to these processes; the main objectives of the renovation of industrial facilities for MFCs are outlined. The factor of adaptability of the urban environment and renovation object located in it is considered in detail.","PeriodicalId":29665,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Civil and Architectural Engineering","volume":"161 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86400445","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, many other parameters should be analysed to understand the mechanism of specific watercourses. The most typical parameters are those associated with water quality, such as water temperature, and pH value, and temperature, as well as various climate parameters, such as precipitation, evaporation, and insolation, which are visualised in the form of a time series. The measurement frequency can differ for each parameter. Depending on the number of available measurements, hourly, daily, monthly, and yearly data can be obtained, which can then be used to form a time series. Many well-established and applicable procedures and models for time-series analyses exist, including the rescaled adjusted partial sums method (RAPS). This method is devised to detect possible irregularities and/or fluctuations within the original time series, which cannot be achieved using typical time-series analysis methods. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the application of the RAPS method in hydrology, where the advantages and disadvantages of the method are discussed.","PeriodicalId":29665,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Civil and Architectural Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90418204","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A house commune is a residential building, or often a complex of buildings that unites a residential with common areas, such as households, leisure, sports facilities, and workshops. Typically, each house commune project is individually designed, based on the needs of future residents. As a result, many innovative solutions were made in their architectural organisation, such as double-height rooms and ramps instead of stairs. In this study, the architectural and planning solutions of house communes have been investigated while considering the chronology of their development. In addition, the experience of renovation (conservation) of house communes as a method for modern urban-space enrichment is considered. The modern creation of multi-apartment housing with the organisation of common communal areas and additional service provision is investigated in the context of cohousing.","PeriodicalId":29665,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Civil and Architectural Engineering","volume":"4 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84562118","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It describes a process of determining the bearing capacity of a stratified cross-section of a beam made of homogeneous and isotropic material in linear and nonlinear domains of material behaviour. Material nonlinearity is analysed by the variation of the cross-sectional stiffness of the beam on bending EI in the stiffness matrix of the system obtained according to the first-order theory. Geometric nonlinearity is introduced into the calculation using the geometric stiffness matrix of the system. Numerical examples present an application of the procedure for solving problems of nonlinear structure analysis. The calculation results obtained in accordance with the procedure described in the paper are compared with the results of the SCIA software package.","PeriodicalId":29665,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Civil and Architectural Engineering","volume":"5 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78616251","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
