Human activities can cause changes in water quality. Polychaeta is one of the unique benthic wills through the changes of composition that cause environmental pressure. This research aimed to identify the type of Polychaeta, analyze the community structure, and know the relation organic matter and Polychaeta density in Musi River Estuary, Sungsang Village, South Sumatera. This research was conducted in February 2021; the samples taken were Polychaeta samples and sediment samples of organic matter, as well as direct measurement of physical and chemical parameters of the water. The types of Polychaeta found to consist of family Lumbrineridae (Lumbrineris sp.) and Nereididae (Nereis sp). The density of Polychaeta ranged from 1.504-2.831 and/m2, with diversity index ranging from 0-0,68, uniformity index 0-0,32, and dominance index ranging from 0,51-1. The results of linear regression analysis show that organic matter had an effect of 29,76% on the density of Polychaeta. Data pasang surut dalam perencanaan pengembangan bangunan pantai digunakan sebagai acuan penentuan elevasi tinggi lantai bangunan yang direncanakan agar tidak mempengaruhi bangunan pantai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan karakteristik tipe pasang surut menggunakan metode Admiralty, membaca kesesuaian data pasang surut dengan mencari nilai RMSE antara data observasi lapangan dengan peramalan menggunakan program NAO Tide dan Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG) serta meramalkan pasang surut menggunakan program NAO Tide untuk mengetahui kedudukan elevasi muka air laut pada November ABSTRACT In order to plan facilities and buildings in a coastal area, tidal characteristics, including tidal forecast, are necessary. Tidal data is used to determine the elevation of the building floor, so it is higher than the seawater level. This study was conducted by conducting tidal observation in Pancer Beach, Puger, Jember to obtain the tidal characteristics using the Admiralty method, tidal forecasting using the NAO Tide program, and Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) online service. The tidal observation was conducted for 15 days, from October 3rd until October 17th, 2019. The results showed that the tidal characteristics in Pancer Beach, Puger, Jember is mixed semidiurnal tide with 0,3 Formzahl number. The mean sea level was 143 cm, HHWL 278 cm, and LLWL 9 cm. RMSE between observation and NAO Tide was 11,55%, while RMSE was 12,64% using BIG service. Using the NAO Tide program for three years (November 2019 until November 2022), the tidal forecast results were HHWL value reached 305 cm in February 2021, and LLWL value reached 4 cm in April 2020. One common damage to seagrasses is the uprooting of seagrasses when the anchors of ships moored in seagrass areas are lifted. Seagrass that is uprooted little by little over time will leave a damaged area (not overgrown with seagrass). The next impact is sediment resuspension that easily occurs due to waves. It is suspected that sediment resuspension released some of the material contained in the sediment, including other nutrients. The research was conducted to see the impact of damage due to ship anchors on changes in nutrient concentrations, especially nitrate and phosphate. The research was conducted on three islands: Bonebatang Island, Bonetambung Island, and Barranglompo Island. All three are included in the Makassar Spermonde Archipelago, South Sulawesi Province. Sediment sampling was carried out on the damaged seagrass area and the surrounding area, which was used by the community to moor ships. On the three islands, samples were taken from 6 ex-seagrass areas with varying areas and the surrounding seagrass areas. In both areas, samples were taken three times each. Sediment 10 cm thick on the surface was taken using a corer. Analysis of nitrate using the ascorbic acid method and phosphate analysis using the brain method by reading absorbance using a spectrophotometer. The results showed a decrease in the concentration of nitrate and phosphate in the sediments due to the damage to seagrass due to ship anchors on the three islands. Antioksidan berdasarkan sumbernya terbagi menjadi dua, yaitu antioksidan alami yang berasal dari tumbuhan dan antioksidan sintetis yang terbuat dari bahan kimia. Antioksidan alami diperoleh dari tumbuhan seperti daun mangrove dan menjadi alternatif yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai pengganti antioksidan sintetik. Kawasan Muara Sungai Musi didominasi oleh hutan mangrove salah satunya adalah mangrove Avicennia alba karena letaknya yang berada di pertemuan antara air tawar dan air laut sehingga salinitas di sekitarnya cukup tinggi dan tergolong ekosistem estuaria (perairan payau). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis potensi aktivitas senyawa antioksidan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif ekstrak kasar dan setelah isolasi dari daun mangrove A. alba. Metode pengujian akivitas antioksidan menggunakan reduksi DPPH, sedangkan metode isolasi yang digunakan adalah kromatografi kolom (KKG) dan kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT). Hasil aktivitas antioksidan dari beberapa konsentrasi uji secara kualitatif pada ekstrak kasar dan isolat terjadi perubahan warna dari ungu menjadi kuning sehingga memiliki potensi antioksidan. Keindahan pantai dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat ternyata diikuti oleh ancaman gelombang swell dari Samudera Hindia. Struktur pelindung pantai yang umumnya digunakan adalah breakwater. Di Indonesia, sangat banyak dijumpai breakwater yang memiliki gradien kemiringan 1:2. Semakin besar gradien kemiringan breakwater maka semakin banyak volume armor breakwater yang digunakan, sehingga berdampak pada besarnya biaya pembangunan breakwater. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini mengkaji konfigurasi gradien kemiringan pada submerged breakwater. Penilitian ini berfokus pada struktur submerged breakwater dikarenakan puncak strukturnya berada di bawah muka air sehingga ramah bagi pantai wisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan variasi gradien kemiringan struktur 1:2 dan 1:1.5, sedangkan diameter pori struktur submerged breakwater adalah 2 cm. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, struktur submerged breakwater dengan kemiringan 1:1.5 puncak tanpa lubang menghasilkan kecepatan arus yang besar, nilai koefisien tranmisi gelombang terkecil dan presentase efektifitas struktur yang paling besar. Peneliti berkesimpulan bahwa kemiringan gradien struktur submerged breakwater sangat berpengaruh terhadap penjalaran gelombang. Semakin besar kecuraman struktur submerged breakwater maka semakin efektif dalam mengurangi tinggi gelombang datang. Selain itu, kondisi tersebut juga sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi gelombang datang. Hewan ini keberadaannya di Indonesia termasuk hewan yang dilindungi. Pemetaan habitat Belangkas adalah salah satu cara untuk melindungi hewan tersebut dari ancaman kepunahan. Informasi ini dapat dijadikan baseline data untuk upaya konservasinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memetakan lokasi Belangkas di perairan pesisir Banyuasin Sumatera Selatan menggunakan software Arcgis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November-Desember 2019. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 2 jenis Belangkas yakni Tachypleus gigas dan Corcinoscorpius rotundicauda. Jenis C. rotundicauda paling banyak ditemukan dibandingkan T. Gigas. Kondisi perairan dikategorikan baik kecuali parameter DO. Belangkas sebagai primitive animal di perairan Banyuasin terdistribusi pada lokasi Daerah Tanjung Carat dan Upang. Biota ini ditemukan paling banyak berkumpul pada kedalaman 1-2 m dengan substrat lempung berpasir. Due to the advantage and disadvantage of pot for capturing demersal and reef fishes, this research aimed to investigate the level of eco friendly of pot operated by fishermen at Seribu Island. The research used a wired pot of L x B x H: 87.5 x 62.5 x 27.5 cm. Data of size, amount and weight, species was recorded for the analyses. The result of research indicated that the total catch was 624 fishes which consist of 23 species. The most dominant catch was the Yellow tail (Caesio cuning) of Caesonidae family, which total 213 fishes. Fork length size distribution of yellow tail as the most dominant catch was at range 10-34 cm. Proportion of The main catch and bycatch during this experiment were 71.35: 28.65%, respectively. The proportion number of legal size and illegal size of yellow tail (Caesio cuning) was 48.36% : 51.64%, respectively. Pembudidayaan rumput laut tersebut mengalami kendala seperti hama dan penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis bakteri yang ditemukan pada K. alvarezii yang terkena penyakit ice-ice di Teluk Lampung. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada Bulan November – Desember 2017 di Balai Besar Perikanan Budidaya Laut, Lampung. Sampel rumput laut dicuci dengan air laut steril dan diisolasi bakteri ke media TSA. Pengamatan karakterisasi koloni meliputi warna, ukuran, bentuk, tepian dan elevasi. Identifikasi karakteristik jenis berdasarkan uji pendahuluan dan uji biokimia dengan menggunakan MicrobactTM. Hasil penelitian menemukan 8 isolat yang memiliki perbedaan karakteristik koloni sehingga dilanjutkan pada tahap identifikasi karakteristik jenis. Penyakit iceice dominan menyerang rumput laut jenis K. alvarezi yang dibudidayakan dengan gejala awal klinis yang ditimbulkan seperti produksi lendir meningkat, permukaan thallus kasar, thallus layu, terbentuknya bintik putih, dan pemutihan ujung thallus. Konsep dasar dalam penelitian ini adalah menganalisa peran air tawar dengan waktu berbeda selama 3 menit, 5 menit, dan 7 menit untuk melihat laju pertumbuhan dan mencegah penyakit ice-ice pada rumput laut K. alvarezii. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan air tawar dengan waktu perendaman 7 menit menghasilkan pertumbuhan lebih baik dan paling sedikit terserang penyakit ice-ice dibandingakan dengan perlakuan lainnya. Rumput laut yang direndam air tawar selama 3 menit memiliki pertumbuhan lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan perlakuan dan lebih banyak terserang penyakit ice-ice.
