Sutomo, Mukti Ali","doi":"10.20956/jwkm.v9i1.1190","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.20956/jwkm.v9i1.1190","url":null,"abstract":"Palippis Beach is an underwater coastal tourism object (snorkeling) and a rest area, but there is a conflict with managers who prioritize finance and a lack of visitors from year to year, which causes Pantai Palippis being not optimal as a waterfront public space. The aim of this research is to determine the quality of Palippis Beach as a waterfront public space and the recommendations of its development based on the placemaking approach. This research was conducted from November 2019 until February 2020 (4 months). This research used primary and secondary data which collected by field surveys, questionnaires, interviews, documentation and literature studies. The research location takes a part of the rest area which is located between Polewali Mandar and Majene Regencies. The analysis used in this research is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method, activity mapping analysis (behavior mapping), and infrastructure analysis. The results showed that the quality value of Palippis Beach using the IPA questionnaire method gets a value of 83.50% which declared as a high quality because it is between 76% -100%. The intensity of use from Palippis Beach scores 54.54% on weekdays and 53.2% on holidays which is considered high because it is in the range of 51% -75%. There are several tourist infrastructure that still need to be equipped, such as tourism services, security, and cleanliness so quality improvement recommendations are required based on the four quadrants resulting from the Cartesian diagram of the IPA method. The purpose of this study was to determine the problem of drainage infrastructure in the Unhas area. This research took place from November 2020 to April 2021. This research is located in the Hasanuddin University Area, Tamalanrea Campus, which is located in Tamalanrea District, Makassar City. Types of secondary data are the number of Unhas Tamalanrea campus communities, the volume of dirty water per person based on the number of communities in Unhas Tamalanrea and PERMEN PU RI No.12/PRT/M/2014 with data collection methods, namely literature, theory, and NSPK studies. The type of primary data is the existing condition of the drainage network at the Unhas Tamalanrea campus, with data collection methods namely surveys or field observations. The data analysis technique used is a comparative analysis, which is to compare the ideal or proper drainage infrastructure with the existing conditions of the research location. Based on the results of the study, there is a drainage infrastructure that is classified as a tertiary drainage channel and then leads to a secondary drainage channel on Polytechnic Street and empties into the Tallo River as a primary drainage channel that is well connected. This study aims to identify the most influential factors in the consideration of determining routes and stations, determine potential tram routes, and determine the location of potential tram stations in Somba Opu Subdistrict. This research was carried out from October 2019 until April 2020, located in Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency. This research is a descriptive study, with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The analysis techniques used in this study were expert choice analysis, MAT and spatial analysis (desire line, network analyst, overlay, and grid-based. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The priority factors in determining the route are road network characteristics, community movement patterns, the distribution of activity centers, land use, and population distribution, while in determining the location of the station the priority criteria are close to the location of the generator. , location of attraction, as well as intermodal integration considerations; 2) The tram route of Somba Opu Subdistrict passes arterial and collector roads (Jl. Sultan Hasanuddin - Jl. Andi Mallombasang - Jl. Poros Malino); 3) The potential location to become a station location is the grid which has a value of 86% -100% (very potential). The tram station is located on Jl. The problem that occurs is the discovery of parking vehicles on road bodies that violate regulations, such as parking on arterial roads, pedestrian paths, and parking at a distance of less than 25 meters from road intersections, causing traffic flow obstruction on several roads. This study aims to determine potential locations and directions for the development of off-street parking facilities in the trading area by maximizing the limited land area. This study aims to determine the location facilities and direction of off-street parking development in the trading area by maximizing the limited land area. The research location is in Wajo District, Makassar City and was carried out in March-November 2020 (9 months). There are two types of data needed in this study, namely secondary data (data on land availability, land function using RTRW, road crossing points, population density, road size, and number of lanes) and primary data (data on the distribution of parking facilities). Determination of the potential parking location is done with the help of a grid-based ArcGis application. From the results of the grid analysis, it was found that 198 grid units were considered very potential and were divided into five distribution groups.
