The rapid growth of internet pharmacies has made it more difficult to standardize drug safety throughout in complex distributed supply chain networks. There is a high chance of introducing counterfeit drugs which are almost the same as the original pharmaceuticals. Due to the lack of transparency the possibility of tampering with drugs in the current manual and web-based pharmaceutical systems is extremely high. Throughout the past recent years, these counterfeit drugs were recognized as the one of major worldwide problems. This situation is worse in developing countries. The unavailability of verifying the legitimacy of drug suppliers and poor mechanisms to trace the drugs were identified as critical points that need to be resolved. SUPPLYDECK comes as a solution for the critical scenario mentioned. This solution addresses the above problems using blockchain technology, as a distributed digital ledger that ensures transparency, traceability, and security. This can show promise for solving some global supply chain management problems using smart contracts and user authentication along with IoT technology and machine learning concepts that are critically examined with this potential application.","PeriodicalId":292397,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Advancements in Computing (ICAC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129825516","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, such techniques are rarely used in Sri Lankan agricultural industry. The success of agriculture depends heavily on the selection of the right crop. Choosing the right crop depends primarily on predicting future yields. Machine learning methods can be used very successfully to make future predictions about crop yields. Crop prediction mainly depends on the soil, geography, and climate of the growing location. Hence historical data with agricultural facts such as temperature, humidity, pH, and rainfall are used to predict yield as parameters in the machine learning function. Sri Lanka uses a traditional approach to distribute fertilizers among farmers. Not having an organized way to distribute fertilizers to the needed areas leads to many abnormalities along the way. As a result, the country is facing economic losses and resource wastage. Having an optimized distribution network is the key to overcoming those abnormalities. This research assesses the efficiency of the fertilizer distribution system and consists of time-series predictions on fertilizer usage to gain future value. The aim is to identify performance gaps in distribution management that lead to delayed fertilizer distribution affecting agricultural productivity.","PeriodicalId":292397,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Advancements in Computing (ICAC)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126903627","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

He has a virus that became the target of bids to stop its spread. Including the implementation of health protocols, to provide information about the spread of the virus emergency response, detection services for suspicious persons infected with the virus, and programs to contain the spread of the virus ensuring that the whole of Sri Lanka gets vaccinated. Here, the research focuses on the minimal spread of the face mask in the office environment an identification system that uses a deep learning model that prioritizes object recognition for the identification of employees who wear a face mask and detects social distancing and crowd gathering, if any if there is a violation, it will inform via a voice notification. Loss of Smell after the next component. One person can use one disposable card to check the smell of sniffing. Each disposable card has QR codes, and all QR codes are encrypted by adding data. The user scans the QR code on their ticket and then scratches off and smelled the smelling area and selected the corresponding scent on the disposable card. Employee company attendance is a proposed automated attendance system using facial recognition. Because it requires minimal human influence and offers a high level of accuracy and marking employee attendance and employee body temperature measurement, facial recognition will appear to be a practical option. This system aims to provide a high level of protection. Automated Attendance systems that detect and recognize are safe, fast, and time-consuming savings. This technique can also be used to identify an unknown person.","PeriodicalId":292397,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Advancements in Computing (ICAC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121527012","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper arises from a study that aims to identify an Information and Communication Technology-based solution for managing solid waste effectively. This solution mainly includes features such as locating common waste hotspots and displaying them on a map, developing a dynamic schedule for collecting garbage, developing an Internet of Things-based smart component to identify the overflowing garbage bins by and automatically notify the municipal council, and a service rating mechanism for garbage collectors. To bring these solutions together, on a single platform, a web application has been designed and developed with all the necessary features. The project’s end goal is to manage disposal methodically before the problem becomes worse and to appraise trash collectors for their service. The findings of this study contribute to the practice and literature on Information and Communication Technology for Development.","PeriodicalId":292397,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Advancements in Computing (ICAC)","volume":"313 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114025726","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

More than two thousand are fatal in this time-period. When considering the top 10 causes of deaths in Sri Lanka, road accidents is at 10th place. Drink and drive, fatigue, drowsiness, distracted driving and driving without a valid license are root causes to these accidents. 20% of the accidents are caused by the drivers without a valid driving license. Currently there is no automated system built using IoT to verify driver’s license. A system to check drowsy driving, distracted driving and driver intoxication is also lacking in the society. By analyzing the data, smart license detection and accident prevention system was proposed to identify and validate driver’s license using RFID. The proposed system also facilitates sub-systems to check driver’s drowsiness, fatigue, alcohol level and driver distracted or not using Raspberry Pi camera module based on computer vision using TensorFlow Lite. An initialized sub-system detects the intensity of the brake pedal being engaged using pressure sensor. The system analyzes the pressure and indicate the intensity level accordingly using the brake light brightness. While these sub systems reduce the probability of occurring an accident, airbag detection sub system reduce the fatality rate of an accident by detecting the deployment of airbags and informing the nearest police station and hospital about an accident using GSM module and SMS Gateway API. The proposed system will reduce the number of accidents occurring throughout the year.","PeriodicalId":292397,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Advancements in Computing (ICAC)","volume":"89 5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126002115","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
