This approach may be used for removing an undesired object from an input video. In this Paper the undesired object will be removed and the texture is reconstructed in the entire video while maintaining the consistent flow of video. The technique implemented here is for the videos recorded with stationary camera. It involves the steps of preprocessing, motion inpainting, and background filling-in. The step of preprocessing involves segmenting each frame of a video into foreground and background, detecting the foreground objects and then tracking those detected objects. The motion inpainting step will fill the holes created by the occluding object by copying information from object templates generated in preprocessing step. The last step of background filling-in will fill the remaining holes by copying corresponding background from background model. In this paper, the challenges of occluding object removal, occluded object removal, and addressing complete occlusion are handled.","PeriodicalId":290499,"journal":{"name":"2013 4th International Conference on Computer and Communication Technology (ICCCT)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115848080","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Now these days equipments take the digital snapshots which may be blur due to bad focus of camera, relative motion between camera and scene to be capture etc. This is an extensive problem to restore this sort of images. This paper proposed a hybrid methodology to recover these images in order to improve the quality. This work uses the basic concept of kernel and padding. This work also applies the Haar wavelet Transform for filtering the image in order to reconstruct image which have the noise and blur. Many researchers implement different types of organizations like image restoration, image enhancement, color image processing, image segmentation etc. Image enhancement technique is among the simplest and most appealing area of digital image processing. Enhancement techniques like brightness preservation, contrast enhancement highlight certain features means depend which part of the image want to be enhance some application some input image including noise, reduction or removal of noise is also form of image enhancement. Brightness preservation has enhanced visual quality of digital image so that the limitation contained in these images is used for various applications in a better way. A very popular technique for image enhancement is histogram equalization (HE) and curvelet transformation. HE technique is commonly employed for image enhancement because of its simplicity and comparatively better performance on almost all types of images. Another widely used technique is curvelet transformation. This technique is identified and separate bright regions of image but more error rate and low peak signal to noise ratio(PSNR), result of this technique is brightness preservation level is low and output image is gray. This paper design a hybrid model through discrete cosine transformation, discrete wavelet transformation and combine output of both techniques with image fusion. Proposed algorithm enhanced features and removal noise by decomposition of image using DWT and discrete cosine transformation, adaptive histogram equalization is very important part in this algorithm for smooth image. The tested results of different images are comparing with previous method, generating result with different parameters; less mean square error and high PSNR for improve the quality of an image. In this paper, we propose a new approach for information hiding based on gray-scale digital images which considers the threshold of the pixel of an image while hiding the bits of a secret message in its least-significant-bits (LSBs). The proposed method works on the secret message by converting it into a stream of bits. Then we generate pseudo random numbers to provide a random distribution of the secret bits across the image. We use m-least significant bits of an 8-bit pixel to hold the secret bits. The value of m varies depending on the threshold of the pixels. The number of bits (m) to be embedded in a pixel having small threshold is more than that of a pixel having high or medium threshold. When we consider low and high thresholds we simply replace the m-least significant bits of a pixel with the m-secret bits. For medium threshold category pixels we use exclusive-or (XOR) of m-least significant bits of the pixel with the m-secret bits. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme achieves high embedding capacity and good visual quality of stego images for m=3 and m=2 for low and non-low thresholds respectively.","PeriodicalId":290499,"journal":{"name":"2013 4th International Conference on Computer and Communication Technology (ICCCT)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114843262","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A number of cryptographic methods have been introduced to provide security to credit card numbers. But, a major problem in adopting these cryptographic algorithms is the requirement to change the existing schema and underlying applications to incorporate the encrypted data. Format Preserving Encryption is a solution to the above mentioned problem, wherein the encrypted data `fits' into the existing schema. In this paper, we are analyzing the performance of Format Preserving Encryption (FIPS 74-8) over block ciphers such as AES, DES, 3DES, Blowfish on numeric data (credit cards numbers) with different keys. It has been observed that FPE (FIPS 74-8) over AES with 192 bits key gives better performance with 16198.5ns for an average encryption and decryption time of 1000 credit card numbers. Performances of Blowfish and AES with Key size 192 are neck to neck with respect to 1000 sixteen digits credit card numbers. We have also discussed overhead of FPE (FIPS-74-8). FIPS 74-8 was a NIST standard based on DES. Instead of using a block cipher DES, use of AES or Blowfish will give better performance and security for Format preserving of numeric data.","PeriodicalId":290499,"journal":{"name":"2013 4th International Conference on Computer and Communication Technology (ICCCT)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124456718","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem is interesting for the access point does not know the number of packets to be transmitted per user node and nodes also don't know packet distribution at other nodes. There are many interesting approaches to this problem [1]. Broadly, we can classify as random access approach and deterministic approaches. In the random access approach each node tries to get hold of the channel as soon as it has a packet to transmit. Due to lack of knowledge about other nodes and no prior coordination among nodes such a method may lead to colliding packets over the channel. Deterministic methods involve scheduling of transmission based on some properties. Here, we introduce a new channel access method. This method follows deterministic model for transmitting packets. In this scheme the access point collects and schedules transmission of data packets in an efficient way. The receiver for which maximum packets are generated is given preference. However, such preferences can be changed if needed. Using simulation we find limits on the number of packets generated, number of packets lost and number of packets successfully transmitted with respect to receiver and channel capacity. This technique is compared with existing wireless protocol CSMA/CA. Our simulation results indicate that this scheme can work more efficiently than CSMA/CA with respect to channel throughput. The scheme is also compared with the conventional polling technique and the results capture the fact that the channel throughput of the proposed method is better than conventional polling at low load and the delay per node is nearly constant in proposed method while it increases in polling method. The results show that the proposed method shares the channel efficiently at low as well as the high load.","PeriodicalId":290499,"journal":{"name":"2013 4th International Conference on Computer and Communication Technology (ICCCT)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128401295","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the information age, there are different types of data attributes which are critical. Every organization is looking for a reliable solution so that data of the company is maintained safely and is available & accessible to everyone. For competent management of business process, computerization is must in today's scenario. At SAIL (Steel Authority of India Limited) Satellite Township and at RDCIS (Research and Development Centre for Iron & Steel) office complex, the civil and electrical maintenance activities are outsourced to contract parties, selected through Open Tender Enquiry basis. At SAIL Township, the execution of the jobs is being carried out against the requisitions received from the occupants, and similarly at RDCIS office. The existing problem is that there is no software developed for capturing the records of civil and electrical jobs carried out by the parties and no proper system to account the bill details and recovery details. Timely accounting was not possible, because all the calculations were done manually. In this regard, a project was taken to develop new software for both civil and electrical maintenance management for addressing the above problems and implement the same at SAIL Satellite Township as well as at RDCIS office. The project comprises of database design, application design and development of software for storage and retrieval of the maintenance data through user friendly interfaces. The developed software also has mechanisms to avoid tampering of data. The software has been developed with 3-tier approach. The software tools used are Oracle Designer, Oracle Database and Oracle Developer Suite. The software has been deployed with Oracle Application Server on Windows Operating System. This software has been developed to capture records of civil and electrical maintenance activities carried out at township and RDCIS office premises. The paper discusses about database design, application design and development of software for capturing employee details, annual rate contract details, contractor details, employee quarteroccupancy details, requisition details, taxes & accounting details, procedures for calculating cost details, recovery details etc, various MIS report, Role based access mechanism for securing the data. Image authentication technique can be used for various organizations such as health care organizations, law enforcement agencies and insurance companies etc. Image authentication is also important in content delivery via untrusted intermediaries, such as peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing. untrusted intermediaries might tamper the contents of image. Distinguishing the legitimate diversity of encodings from malicious manipulation is the challenge addressed in this paper. We developed a LDPC based new approach for image authentication. With the help of this approach we can authenticate image effectively. In our technique, we provide LDPC quantized image projection and the Encrypted image digest as authentication data. These data can be correctly decoded only with the help of an authentic image as side information. But virtualization technology degrades the performance of HPC applications. Most of the HPC applications distribute its workload among specified compute resources. To achieve better performance for an application, it is desirable to have homogeneity among the compute resources. Since in cloud environment the virtual machines are created dynamically as per customer needs, it is difficult to find homogeneous environment.
